Is it warm all year long in Santa Fe? -

I know it sounds like a dumb question, but to someone whose never been before, I m trying to figure out if it s warm enough to do outdoor activities without big heavy coats.

No, it isn t warm in the winter in Santa Fe. Santa Fe sits at a high enough elevation that it gets snow in the winter. Albuquerque gets snow, too. Skiing is very popular in both cities in the winter. I ve visited the area in January and it was snowing hard. Bring your winter coat, gloves, hat, boots, and scarf with you. You will need them.

Grocery store in bay area that carries Central American fruits? -

I am looking for a store that might sell Costa Rican fruits/vegetables in the bay area. I would like to buy grenadinas, mamoncillos, and chayote. Berkeley Bowl does not sell them. Maybe someplace in Oakland or the Mission?

Yes, there a few Mexican Grocery that would probably have it in Oakland. I love Berkeley bowl, because it s cheap but too crowd. The Mexico markets (a few of them) on E.14th /35th ave- prices are insanely cheap.. hope this helps.

Berkeley Bowl is really your best bet. You could try Casa Lucas on 24th Street in the Mission, or La Loma Produce on 16th Street.

What is the difference between the Dolphin and the Swan resort at Disney? -

I m going to make reservations at either the Swan or the Dolphin resort at Disney, but I can t seem to tell a difference. Is there a difference between the two?

Both are very nice hotels on Disney property, however they are owned by Starwood not Disney. The Swan is a Westin while the Dolphin is a Sheraton, so I would imagine the Swan is a little bit nicer. They do a lot of conventions and are the business hotels of Disney. The restaurants in these hotels are also nicer than most of the Disney restaurants which have gone down in quality dramatically to support the Disney Dinning Plan. If I was going on vacation to Disney the swan or dolphin would be at the top of my list.

Dolphin is the hotel with the large convention space. It has a larger lobby. It is usually crowded when there is a convention going on.Both have good places to eat but they are pricey. I would stay at the Swan. The walk to Epcot or The Studios is a little shorter if you stay at the Swan. They share the same boat dock to Epcot or the Studios but are 2 different stops if you are taking the bus to and from MK AK or DtD

The rooms are not necessarily different, the lobby s differ, but the distance to Epcot, the boardwalk and the boat dock are the same. So I would just go for the cheapest offer.

Never stayed at the Swan, but ive stayed at Dolphin. And it was really nice

Would you drive 12 Hours to spend 2 to 3? -

As someone that appreciates people, I am always up for a road trip. I have a new friend and I am looking forward to paying her a visit. She lives 6 hours away and I am willing to take a ride to see her just to have lunch. Life s short so I Play hard. What are your thoughts?

i more thna likely would go and do that...

absolutely! sounds great to me. my best friend and i once drove 3 and a half hours after work to go eat at a mexican restaurant because we loved the food so much...road trips are great! love them! especially with such a wonderful thing waiting at the end to your roadtrip!

Hell I have driven two homeless people 170 miles when I had nothing else to do and wanted to do a road trip so please, go big.

Hell no. For every hour I drive on a trip (round trip not one way) I have to spend at least twice as long there, so for 12 hours of total driving I would have to stay at least 24 hours.

Like you said life s short so why would you spend 6 hr of you life on a bus or car being bored ..you should passs

Sure i would my friends are like family to me.

Might be worth the trip.If it was someone I liked to spend time with well then it wouldn t be wasted time.

As long as she s ok with it, why not. Otherwise, no way. No matter how good it is.

i think your an upright fellow and i like the way you see life.

life is short...so why not?? but if you have the time and money why not wait and make a whole weekend out of it??

No I wouldn t.

No , I wouldn t.Unless maybe if I were a lesbian and in love with her.

if you are doing it for the right reason.....I m game.

New York, A Week, 3 people, cheap?? help me please!!? -

for an 18 year old, a 16 year old and a 15 year old i dont want like an old ugly motel but pretty and cheap can u help me??

We just got back from NYC about 3 months ago and I m definitely going back! We were there for 3 days, but I think 5 days should be enough. Get the 3+ day NewYorkPass, it will save you a lot of money! http://www.newyorkpass.com/ Also, buy your NYC T-shirt ( 5 for 10.99) at Times SQ.Around Empire State building, they have a lot of cheap NYc sounviers. Hotel wise, book early. We stayed in Chinatown (Hotel 91) but it s clean and fairly cheap- though you can heard the subway at night, it didn;t bother us. Becareful of big and cheap hotel, I heard it s not clean,, The last thing you want is to bring home some bed bugs.Broadway Show: If Wicked was too expensive ( it was for us), so we went to see Fuerza Bruta , we got a coupon online and pay half price =) so check online! .. Let put it this way, we will never forget this show.. we had a blast!http://www.broadwaybox.com/ ? for cheap shows! Ps. We finally watched Wicked In San Francisco, it was great!

Ok, listen carefully... I have been to New York 5 times in this month. If you stay at the double tree (On Broadway!) that s a cheap one and its pretty! But if you want to be close to Manhattan than i suggest that you go to The Crown Plaza(Its like you have your own app.!) its expensive though!! I hope this helped!!! Have fun!
