The link that David Wallace gave was 100% correct at one time, but no more. That s outdated info, since the site says that parking is $11, and the current price is $14.Here s the deal with FastPasses:-Get your first FastPass upon entering the park. It will say to come back in an hour or so. BUT DON T GO BACK. At least not yet. Look at the return time on your ticket. Once you reach the return time , you can get another fast pass. Repeat as necessary, so that you have a bunch of FP s in the afternoon, when ride times are longest. The other web site is incorrect when it says that two rides are not on the FP system. They are all on it now, and DCA is connected to Disneyland. Use the tip I gave you, and you can have quite a few rides on FastPass. We ve actually had as many as 7 at a time.
Yes, the Fast Pass system is still in use. Typically, guests only hold one Fast Pass at a time, however with planning and lots of walking you can hold more.Fast Passes are issued with a return time for you to come back and ride the attraction. Guests cannot claim a second Fast Pass until that return window, or two hours after getting the pass.Example:You get a Space Mountain Fast Pass at 8am with a return time of 11am. You can actually pick up a second Fast Pass to a different attraction at 10am, two hours after the first was issued. Now, if the return window was long enough, it is possible to hold many more than two Passes because the two parks are on different systems and two attractions in the parks are separate.Example:1. Get first Fast Pass with return window many hours in the future.2. Visit the other park and get a second pass immediately.3 4. Visit Roger Rabbit s CarToon Spin and Grizzly River Rapids. These attractions are on their own system and don t recognize the restrictions placed on other Fast Passes.5. Two hours after picking up Pass #1, visit another Fast Pass attraction in the same park.6. Two hours after picking up Pass #2, visit another Fast Pass attraction in the same park. The other thing about Fast Passes that most people don t know: the Passes are usually accepted long past the return window. Cast Members are looking at the dates and not necessarily the times; they often allow people with expired Passes for the same day to enter the Fast Pass line.
Typically you can get one fast pass at a time but there are some ways to optimize your fast pass experience.Check out tip # 5 in article below.http://www.disneyorama.com/2008/08/optim
