What do you love or hate about Richmond, Virginia or Virginia for that matter? -

The thing I hate about living here in Richmond is how dumb the people are here and how you can always find nothing to do here at all times of the year. And you? I m trying to find something EZ 2 love about this place.

Love the forests

I live in North Carolina, but most of my family (mom s side) is originally from Va so I spent a lot of vacations there. I m not overly familiar with Richmond but I love the state as a whole. Probably my favorite part is the Shenandoah mountains, which take my breath away with their peace and beauty every time I m there.I used to love driving through Roanoke and seeing the star as well, and stopping to eat at the Roanoker restaurant. When I got older i went there and it wasn t as tasty as I remembered, but still fun and nostalgic. I love Charlottesville. a beautiful corner of the world. I love the history....Williamsburg, Alexandria, and all those beautiful old towns. And I ve been to visit many presidents houses, such as George Washington s Mount Vernon. And I love that you can go to either the mountains or the beach easily...or even a big city like Washington or Baltimore are in easy reach for vacations and weekend trips.
