Hotels in downtown Chicago? -

I m looking for a nice, but not to expensive hotel in Chicago. Any ideas?

What is not too expensive for you, and when do you want to be there? Rates right now are pretty good in the city. I just checked hotels.com for one night 12/18-19 and some very nice hotels are in the $100 range. Most of these rates are prepaid and non-refundable.W Lakeshore - a bit too trendy and loud for my tastes, but $119/nt.Doubletree Mag Mile - nice modern hotel, great location, $109/nt.Hilton Suites Mag Mile - All rooms are suites, very nice property. $114/ntMarriott Downtown Mag Mile - I ve heard it s nice, $129There are many more on the Magnificent Mile, just enter Magnificent Mile Chicago in the search bar at hotels.com.For my money, though, I d go with the Sofitel at $165/nt. This is a true luxury 5 star hotel and is the only such 5-star Sofitel in the country. I ve also stayed at the very nice 4-star NYC Sofitel and the Chicago property is MUCH nicer and significantly more affordable.Edited to add that you should also do a web search for hotel discounts. Earlier this year, for instance, United Airlines had a promo code for 20% off any Marriott which I took advantage of. There are many such codes out there that anyone can use. Also, if you re into collecting hotel points, there may be some additional promos which will give you bonuses.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

How much is the wi-fi service at Walt Disney World, and do you have to pay for it via reservation? -

Or can you just do something when you get to the hotel?

Internet is $9.95 for 24 hours or $4.95 for 1 hour. There is a cable in the room for hook-up and there is also wi-fi. I searched in many different locations to pick up a stolen wireless connection but Disney has them all blocked. The Disney hotels do not offer deals on week long internet connection like off-site hotels, either. So, budget the money in if you HAVE to be on the internet. You do not need to request internet when you make your reservation. You just call when you want it and they are able to connect it. Also, we bough it for 1- 24 hour period but due to severe thunderstorms the internet signal went down and to this day we still have not been refunded a credit for the time we could not get on-line despite the constant calls to the IT department and other complaint departments. Very frustrating!

you can get it whenever you want. you dont have to pay for it via reservation. I think it costs $10 for a 24 hour connection. you can research it more when you actually get down there. they will give you the exact info. It depends on the hotel your at too.

High-speed access is available in all rooms, all hotels, for $9.95 a day. Wi-fi is only available at a select few resorts. You can call or go to the front desk to get it at any time if your hotel offers it.

When I stayed at the Boardwalk Hotel, I went to the lobby to get wifi, before I logged on I had to go to the front desk to get the code and it was five dollars an hour.

http://allears.net/acc/internet.htmWe got it when we checked in.

I stayed at the Contemporary yesterday and they had free internet access.

Can you go to the box office to purchase Phantom of the Opera tickets on Broadway? Is it cheaper that way? -

The actual ticket prices are the same, whether you buy them in person or through the phone or internet. However, tickets purchased online and by phone are subject to a per ticket service charge of $7.00 and a per order handling fee. Handling fees vary by how your tickets are delivered. The problem with going to the box office is that though you save the service charges, you are quite likely to find out that the performance that you want is sold out, especially if you re looking to buy tickets on short notice. But if you want to go to the box office to buy tickets for say, 6 months from now, (or however far in advance they sell them), then yes, it would be cheaper. You might get lucky if you re willing to settle for a standing-room ticket.Standing Room: There are $26.50 tickets available at the Box Office only, when the performance is sold out. They are sold in advance or same day, if available. There are only 28 standing room positions. You can also try one of the 3 TKTS booths in New York City. TKTS Discount Booths offer tickets to Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals and plays at up to 50% off. The Times Square Booth sells day-of-performance tickets only. The South Street Seaport Booth sells tickets to evening performances on the day of the performance, and matinee tickets the day before. The Downtown Brooklyn Booth sells tickets to evening performances on the day of the performance, and matinee tickets the day before. However, you don t always know which shows they will have same-day tickets for. Try to get to the TKTS booth super-early, and you might get lucky! Then again, it might take you a couple tries to get Phantom tickets, but you will save money that way.All TKTS locations sell tickets at 50%, 40%, 30% and 20% off full-price (plus a $4.00 per ticket service charge, which helps support other TDF services and programs). Availability and ticket inventory change throughout the day and at the discretion of individual productions.

Which airport in better or the nearest to forbenning georgia columbus or atlanta?which one u recomend? -

Definitely fly into Hartsfield. If you don t want to rent a car, there is a shuttle that will take you to Columbus. (The shuttle bus won t be able to pass through the gate at Ft. Benning, so have whomever it is you re visiting, meet you at a designated point outside the gates.)

Columbus is closer that Atlanta. But it is really small, and it probably only flies to a small radius of cities. If you are flying across country you will probably have to fly into Atlanta and either drive to Fort Benning or catch a connection to Columbus and drive to Fort Benning (I think about 20 minutes from airport).

Other things to consider:1. You ll definitely get a flight into Atlanta HJ, maybe not into Columbus2. You ll pay far less for your flight into Atlanta, as it is a hub3. You ll fly directly into Atlanta, maybe connect to get to Columbus4. You ll find abundant transportation options in AtlantaI d say, even if Atlanta is 100 miles further to Fort Benning, fly into the A

Remember you could consider Atlanta, GA , Columbus, GA or Birmingham Al. It depends on where you wish to fly. Check the rates from all three.

Columbus would be the closer choice, but Atlanta would be the cheaper choice.

I think Atlanta Hartsfield Int l airport, Not sure though, pls confirm
