Is there any cheap overnight parking near the Ritz Carlton - Marina Del Ray? -
Madame Tussauds Las Vegas or Hollywood? -
Oh Vegas is SOOO much better than Hollywood.Hollywood doesn t put enough money and energy into keeping it updated.Vegas is sooo much better.
I ve never been to the Hollywood one, but we were actually hesitant to go to the Vegas one because so many people said they were disappointed in Vegas. But we had a 2 for 1 coupon and time on our hands, so we checked it out. It was great - we had a really good time. The place is set up really well, and kept up nicely. Definitely worth a visit!
Vegas for sure. Located at the Venetian, there is the Grand Canal Shops with gondola rides and free wandering entertainment and the great area just to walk. And don t forget the casino and huge hotel rooms
The one in vegas is better and way bigger, plus it is more updated then hollywood, if your saying in vegas they have 2-1 coupons in the rooms so you and a buddy can go!
Vegas all the way. Much much better than Hollywood. Here is a video clip of the Vegas museum.http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/las-vegas
The one if Vegas is the best. It is interactive. You can touch the figures and even take your picture with them.*
Vegas Baby!!!
Vegas!
It s really good. Look online for discount coupons and bring your camera. If you go to NYC on the east coast, there s one there too.
What do you recommend? -
Try TripAdvisor.com - it has lists of hotels and resorts with comments from past guests. And, as someone else said, there are lots of condos in Maui. You d have more room and be able to prepare some of your own meals, snacks, etc. HomeAway.com has lists of apartments and condos.
Kaanapali Beach Hotel is more than just another hotel set amongst tropical gardens. Here, youll experience the little touches that youd only find in any Hawaiian home, like bedspreads of Hawaiian quilt design and tropical furnishings. And always, the warmth of a smile. Because once youre here, youre family.
I would recommend renting a condo. You can then have a place to relax better than a hotel room, fix breakfast and lunch if you want and even grill a steak. You can go to the resorts if you want for shows etc. I requested the newspaper and tourist brochures and rented once on the internet. Had a great time and felt like a home instead of a hotel.I did the drive to the volcano for sunrise -- great --- and drove all around the island.
there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
Where is the cheapest/safest place to live in San Francisco? Or, the same for a city outside SF to commute? -
How big a place are you looking for? The thing is, it s quite expensive here. There s nowhere within an easy commute of San Francisco where under $1000/month is the norm... there are some places, such as Dublin, parts of San Jose, Hayward, Gilroy (which can be quite cheap, but trains only run during rush hour), etc... that are more prone to exceptions than others, but none where you d have tons of choices for that amount. Likewise, when there is something under $1000 you kinda have to fight tooth and nail to get it (as everyone else is looking for the rare gem under $1000, too). It s not impossible, mind... but not that easy, either.Your best bet would be to live with a roommate in either San Francisco (cheapest/safest neighborhoods are the Sunset and the Richmond - not to be confused with Richmond, the city, across the bay... which is relatively cheap but not safe) or somewhere an easy commute, such as Daly City or Berkeley (both are slightly cheaper than SF and easily accessible by BART). Again, not impossible to find your own place for under $1000, but it could be difficult and take a while. But as a roommate, you could get a place in SF itself for $600-800 pretty easily.
$1,000 per month for a one-bedroom? That s really stretching it anywhere in the Bay Area, unless you want to live in the ghetto.Maybe try Oakland. Look near the BART station so you have easy access to the city.
the sunset and richmond is both safe and affordable, and has a pretty good amount of parking and public transit to all parts of the city. outside SF probably daly city or south san francisco
check out westlake, daly city, south city, etc

Is it safe to walk to Omni Hotel from the Honda Center at night? -
I think you have something confused. The Honda Center in Southern California is located in Anahiem. It s where the Anaheim Ducks play (hockey). The closest Omni hotel is located in downtown Los Angeles. It would be about a 40 mile or more walk between the two.The Staples Center and Nokia Theater are sort of walking distance to the Omni but they on opposite sides of downtown LA.
