Any one been to Lenexa, Kansas? My mom wants me to move there. Thanks =)? -

She wants me to move with her. Her husband is divorcing her. She ll get around 150,000 - 200,000 from the house. She wants me to come with. Could someone give me a little info. I Wikipedia d it, but that ll only tell so much. And none of my friends here are going to know anything.ABOUT ME: I live in Bonsall-San Diego County, California. I m 2.5 months short of 20 years of age and average $1900 a month working at a casino. I m finishing up at a junior college and need to go to a 4 year soon. I was planning on going somewhere in California. That would have to change I suppose if I move with her.

If you re able to support yourself, what s the problem? It s time to grow wings. I m sure with the money Mom makes off the house sale, she can live well for a while in Kansas. Rents are much cheaper than in CA. I don t know why everyone thinks that WIKI is the best for information. Any one can put in information and claim it s a fact. What are some differences between Texas and North Carolina? -

I m moving to North Carolina to Texas.

Texas area is much larger. We have several different types areas from sandy to forest to ocean side. We have small farm towns and several large cities. So it would depend where your moving to. In Fort Worth we have wide variety of resterants and entertainment. I feel we would have more days warmer then there. But we are in a cool spell at this time this week. Night low 50s. Hope this helped.

Obvious differences are climate and accents. Large cities here are more built up and have more traffic congestion. We also have more shopping, resteraunts, and Universities.

Texas rocks!North Cacalacki don t

Las Vegas [LAS], McCarran8. Houston [IAH], George Bush Intercontinental Airport9. Phoenix [PHX], Phoenix Sky Harbor10. Denver International Airport is 137.25 km2 with six runways so that is pretty huge as well.

How close do want to live to Berkeley? The BART runs through from Bay Point to concord to Union City to S.F. so transportation is pretty easy. I can tell you the cities NOT to live in. =) Antioch, Pittsburg, Bay Point, Oakland... Brentwood is nice, Some parts of Concord are nice. San Ramon, Dublin, Clayton are all very nice but a little pricey. Email me if you need more info

City Center Question? -

I know that Vdara, Aria, and the Mandarin Oriental are opening in December, but when are the other portions going to be open? Should they be open by the end of March?

Here is CityCenter s opening Schedule: Vdara opens December 1, 2009 Aria opens December 16, 2009 Crystals retail and entertainment district at City Center opens December 3, 2009 Mandarin Oriental, opens December 4, 2009 The Harmon Hotel opens Late 2010 Residential occupancies will begin mid-January 2010

I am not sure what you mean by the other portions . The Cosmopolitan Resort Casino is physically next to City Center, and MGM almost took it over (but declined). That will be 3000 rooms, but is not going to open until a year from now [ the same timeframe as the Harmon Hotel (400 rooms) ].As for the rest of Vegas:(0) Golden Nugget Rush tower (opens today) 500 rooms(1) Planet Hollywood Towers by Westgate 3667 ( 721 timeshares 480 hotel rooms)(2) Hard Rock Hotel expansion (375 rooms on top of the 490 rooms added on August 1)(3) The Grandview at Las Vegas tower #6 in July 2010 (400 rooms--------------------(4) The bidding has begun on the Fountainbleau so that might be completed next year (3800 rooms)(5) The Octavius Tower at Ceasars Palace is finished on the outside. Can be done quickly (665 rooms)(6) The half finished tower on the Venetian is stalled indefinitely (1000 rooms)============The Echelon which is only steel girders on the site of the old Stardust is stalled indefinitely. No one knows if they will have to take the steel down at some point. (4000 rooms)============Everything else is simply on paper or the land has been cleared but no construction has begun. When that starts again is anyone s guess. The most visible land clearing is the site of the old New Frontier casino across from the Wynn. If past is prologue then Steve Wynn will start it up again in the future with his 3rd of 4 towers built around the golf course. However, in the first quarter of operations, the Encore + Wynn has revenue only slightly higher than the Wynn did alone the previous year. That s a lot of capital investment for almost no revenue increase.

lv review journal on line channel 8 local news on line. they both did some tours the other day with all the dates and info. that will give you the best timetable and some are printable.

Everything is slowly opening over the next several months.
