I have left over MTA Metro Cards (NYC) with a little bit of money on each one, how could I combine them? -

I have about a dollar on each card, and we all know that a dollar cannot get you anywhere in NYC. Is it possible to combine them into one card, or get the money back?

no refund but if you go to a token booth they can put the value on a new card.
