The city was named Melbourne in honor of its first postmaster, Cornthwaite John Hector, an Englishman who had spent much of his life in Melbourne, Australia. there is no comparison both are completely different in every way

Is there a list of places where people are going in Cash cab? -
The contestants determine the location that the Cash Cab is driving to. However the pickup itself is not random...What happens is, the producers of the show go to local events like trivia nights at bars, and they say they are recruiting for a show about Places people like to go in NYC , or something like that. That s the cover story, since they want it to be a surprise. But the contestants need to agree to be on a show, since they have to sign release forms. So the producers ask prospective contestants about where they like to go in New York, then they send a cab to pick them up and take them there, then SURPRISE! It s the Cash Cab.So the place the Cash Cab is going is the place that the people chosen for the show have stated as a place that they like to go often. They ve recruited twice from the trivia night that I go to - but by now maybe they re using a different cover story...
Dubious. Google doesn t seem to have a list; plus most people on the show are probably going to what are just mundane, relatively unremarkable places like certain bars, restaurants, or someone s home. However, off the top of my head I can think of some places where the cab has stopped:Museum of Natural HistoryChelsea PiersStrand Bookstore (12th Broadway)Webster HallPATH station on 9th St.Woolworth BuildingWorld Financial CenterBlarney Stone (?)Of course, you ll see other interesting spots along the way. In past episodes they ve passed the big 9 outside the Solow Building, Times Square, Tiles for America, the Metronome, Grand Central Terminal, etc.

Is miami an expensive place to live..? -
It s not more expensive than Chicago (I lived in the Chicagoland area and I know how very expensive that place can get- for example, gas is extremely expensive in Chicago) but right now Miami is going through terrible economic times and there aren t really any jobs there at all. Florida is one of the states that is being the hardest hit by the recession.
depends where you live! hialeah is cheap as is little havana but if you want to live somewhere nice then yes it is expensive. thing is you get paid more in chicago here you make the minimum and the homes are quite expensive relative to the home prices since foreigners buy most of the properties here. in my condo most owners are foreigners with second homes.
Miami is extremely expensive....probably second only to Palm Beach as the highest cost of living in FL. It is very expensive to visit as well.
Yes miami is much more expensive then chicago.
