most places...in manhattan try the village,upper east side,upper west side,chelsea,financial districtbe prepared to spend though!

P.S. there are more nice areas in New York than Ghetto areas. : ) But...are you talking about Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, etc.?

PARKING AT THE FILLMORE IN DENVER? -

I m seeing the Zac Brown Band at the Fillmore in Denver on thursday, i drove by today and it looks like there is very minimal parking. Any good spots you know of? it s greatly appreciated

Parking around the Fillmore is awful!! There is mainly street parking, but a few lots do open up for pay parking, usually Wendy s will charge for parking, and a few lots of Clarkson and 16th as well. What ever you do, do NOT park at Charlies, they will tow your car!

About all there is around the Fillmore is street parking. There are a couple small lots.nearby. Get there early

I am trying to think of a good way to surprise my mom with a vacation to NYC? -

I am booking soon/starting to plan. We are going next December, but I am surprising her for Mothers Day. I have heard a few good ideas: crossword puzzle, scavenger hung, buy her a new set of luggage, and a few other ones. I m looking for some good suggestions on this. Thanks!

One of the primary things visitors want to do in NYC is go to a Broadway play, so I d suggest that. (BTW: The theaters aren t actually on Broadway; that s just a designation about the number of seats in the theatre. The size decreases with Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broaday .You can also buy unsold tickets for the day of the performance at the TKTS counters in Father Duffy Square (42nd and Broadway), just north.

Or you can treat her with a NY Limousine ride around NYC for 1 hr. I know that Royal Luxury limo offers those tours. Really cool idea. Quick, cheap, 1 hr limo ride with bottle of champagne.

In a wrapped present give her: a snowglobe of NYC, a mini statue of liberty, an I LOVE NY t-shirt, and some Broadway tickets.

Which Cirque du Soleil show should I watch in Vegas? -

I m taking my girlfriend to Vegas in December. We have a lot of things planned so we can only have time for 1 show. I want to watch either O at the Bellagio or KA at MGM Grand.I understand that these are 2 different type of shows, but I d like your personal opinions.People have told me that O is such a beautiful show, but I ve also heard that KA is very intense and awesome.

These are both excellent shows. The best of Cirque du Soleil in my opinion. O is based on the element of water. Ka is based on defying gravity and a martial arts theme. These shows happen in purpose built theaters. They are huge productions so you need not sit close to the stage, in fact, I saw O from the 6th row and it was actually too close to see everything. I felt like a bobble head.I do not want to ruin anything for you but here are some teasers. Can you imagine seeing this? A person walks across a solid stage. Immediately, off to the side another person does a swan dive off a high platform and goes right through the stage where the other person just walked, only now it is water. Then another group of people run across the same spot which is now solid again. That happens all night long in O.Or how about a major all out martial arts battle complete with weapons but the whole thing happens on a stage that tips up completely vertical? You choose whichever you find most intriguing.*

I prefer O - I think the water adds a really neat dimension to the show. Some of the scenes in Ka are amazing, but I found that it lost my interest a few times.

None of them! Cirque Du Soleil sucks! Our show was WAY better!

the previews say now playing but i don t see it in any theater around my area.
