The bus will be full of drunk irish. Thats not racist, its a fact. The best thing would be the subway from grand central station. Fast and cheap and somewhat clean.Just watch your wallet in the crowd at time square
Both the train and the bus will arrive in town within walking distance of Times Square. The bos comes int Port Authority Bust Terminal which is basically one block west of Times Square. The train will come into Penn Station, about a half mile away. Pick your poison.
Take the train, its only an hour travel time each way on Amtrak. If that s to expensive, then take SEPTA from Philly to Trenton and then NJ Transit to New York City.Good luck
I usually drive into Jersey City and take the PATH train in NYC. From there just take the appropriate trains to where ever you want to watch from.
Rt 95 will take you directly from NYC to BostonIf you re in another part of NY, the NY Thruway, (90) turns into the Mass turnpike, and will take you to BostonAs far as a place to stay, I can t help you.....get to where you want to be and start looking or try researching on the internet
I think that New Orleans is thought of a city with a slower pace compared to other cities, but New Orleans wouldn t be considered country by any means.
New Orleans is definately slower paced than Boston but it still feels like a city.
Well I am from New York, and yes people here would consider NOLA to be a slow-paced city. Although many are jealous.
HELL NO I AM FROM NEW ORLEANS AND BELIEVE ME IT AIN T SLOW ONE BIT.
i do know
What about the Wiltern? That s pretty cool. Or just about anything on Wilshire. Great art deco archiecture between downtown and Beverly Hills.Larchmont area has cool houses.Make sure you have a permit. A permit is required for commercial still photography. Avoid heavy fines and penalties. http://www.filmla.com/getting_started.ph(I m not associated with these folks, but did see a photo shoot get shut down right in the middle. The photog started to put up a stink, and the cops started treating him like he was bin Laden. Moral of the story: Get a permit.)
hmmm, I have taken pictures all over greater LA with tripods and a commercial looking set up and never even knew a permit was required for professionals stills, and never had ANYONE SAY ANYTHING TO ME ABOUT IT...I am going to guess you are shooting for some kind of urban pioneer/Ed Hardy type fashion and not some high end Rodeo Dr. type fashions....I would go to the northwest fringes of downtown (near the old trolley tunnel). I think you could get some good pics there. (Hint--take some BIG guys with you---LOL)....Good shooting, hope you get good light....
You can try the Angelino Heights area between Sunset and Temple Streets near Douglas, west of Downtown; and yes just like the person mentioned above watch out for the Photo Police.
My thermometer here in Travis Heights recorded a low of 37 degrees. You might be able to find the answer to these types of questions at Weather Underground (wunderground.com) or the Austin American Statesman s weather section (they have a guy named Bob Rose who does a blog that has day by day breakdowns).
It got to 45 in Lakeway.
There are no overnight hotels/showers or the like at Seatac other than the USO. But there are numerous hotels just outside the airport and most offer a 24 hour shuttle to/from the airport that would take less than 10 minutes to get to.I recommend reading through the reviews at the web site below to get a real idea of what sleeping at sea-tac would be like.http://www.sleepinginairports.net/list.a
Look at an apartment rental website like apartments.com
