Getting license in vegas? -

himy friend just received a permi to work in vegas strip clubsbut in the id, it says police department..why is thatis that only in vegas/or in all states..how are strippers related to police department

It s more than likely a Sheriffs card. A lot of Vegas jobs require them. Particularly jobs that serve alcohol, casino jobs, and childcare. More than that require them though. They do a police background checks on you.

Dancer Employment Requirements: * dancers require a Sheriffs Card. * bar staff require a Sheriffs Card a TAM Card. Work card processing includes interviewing, fingerprinting and photographing. The work card is similar in size to a drivers license and is issued the same day as applied for provided there are no complications during the process. The LVMPD issues work cards at The Las Vegas office is located at 5880 Cameron St. For general information, call (702) 229-3271.Work cards currently are issued from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and closed all federally recognized holidays. Pecos., when applying for a work card. * Certified copy of birth certificate must be shown by applicant 25 years of age and younger. No exceptions. * Persons not born in the U.S. or U.S. Territory must show one of the following: Naturalization Certificate; U.S. Passport, U.S. birth certificate; and/or Alien Card. This includes persons of U.S. Citizenship born abroad. * Pay the appropriate fees. * You must show two forms of acceptable I.D. (any state-issued driver s license; state-issued I.D.; military I.D.; DD214; U.S. Passport; Social Security Card; Naturalization Certificate; Baptismal Certificate, and Alien I.D. Card. The following are examples of conditions that may lead to an applicants card being denied or revoked. It does not include all the reasons a card may be denied or revoked. * An outstanding warrant of arrest. * Extensive criminal history. * Have had a work card previously revoked by Special Investigations. * Insufficient immigration documentation. * No certified copy of birth certificate if 25 years of age or younger. * Falsification of information on the referral slip. * Any other denial reason(s) so stated under Nevada Revised StatutesWork cards are presently valid for five (5) years.

That sounds like a Sherriff s card, which means that your friend had a background check, and can prove that she is qualified to show her breastisis to the entire police department should they request a lap dance.

It is only in Las Vegas and is proof the dancer has had a crime background check and cleared.

Thing to do in Gatlinburg TN? -

im doing a report on a vacation for my teacher to take and i need activites that are unique and they can do... there are 2 adults and 3 kids

There are some great attractions for both adults and kids in and around Gatlingburg. Smoky Mountains National Park is very scenic and plenty of fun for everyone. You can hike, fish, camp, birdwatch, and go horseback riding in the park. They also have a Ripley s which has plenty of games and fun for the kids. Pigeon Forge has Dollywood, arcade, games, and shopping. Parrot Mountain in Pigeon Forge is a place where you can see plenty of tropical birds and is very interesting for all ages. Have fun!

Gatlinburg is a great family destination.1. Enjoy the strip in downtown Gatlinburg TN. It is free and the kids will love looking through all of the shops.2. Play putt putt. There are few in Gatlinburg.3. There is an indoor water park in Gatlinburg called Wild Bear Falls. I am sure the kids will love this activity.4. Zipline Gatlinburg. Depends on the age of the kids.5. Ober Gatlinburg has several activities including skiing, ice skating, and a restaurant.6. Fannie Farkles serves a great corn dog. Kids would enjoy the arcade.Hope this helps some.

hiking through the beautiful mountains. It is gorgeous there! My great grandmother was from there. but we live in NY now

What would be a good amp; safe place to visit in Philadelphia, PA.? -

i want to get a real philly cheese steak, but i don t want to have to go to the ghetto to get one.

Jim s has the best steaks and are in the slightly better neighborhood at 4th South. Don t make the effort to get to Pat s or Geno s--they re awful! Of course, you could go to Jim s Springfield, Delaware County location and not worry about the neighborhood. They re just a few miles outside the city on Baltimore Pike, so close that on a clear night, you can see the skyline from the street in front of the shop.

Pat s and Geno s are either good or bad, depending on the loyalties of who you ask, and they are not far from South Street, which is Philly s miniature answer to NYC s Greenwich Village. Nearby is the Italian Market area on 9th St, on down to Washington Avenue. On Washington Avenue, you will find a lot of Vietnamese cuisine. A very nice area to visit is Ben Franklin Parkway, where the Franklin Institute is. On 22nd St, just south of Market, you will find the Mutter Museum, which houses an array of human medical pathology displays, some of actual human anomalies (Siamese twins, birth defects, extreme deformities). The collection is well over 100 years old, and has some recent additions. Penn s Landing has the maritime museums, and you can take the ferry to the Camden, NJ waterfront, where the Battleship New Jersey and the Adventure Aquarium are. Camden IS the hood, but the waterfront is well-policed. The University area of West Philadelphia has good museums and an amazing college campus (Univ. of Pennsylvania, or Penn , as well as Drexel U.) and the area is worth walking around. The U. of Penn. Museum of Anthropology is awesome, and contains actual found relics from ancient cultures, including mummies from Egypt, Greek and Etruscan pottery, and much more. North of Market for a few blocks, between about 6th and 11th, you can visit Chinatown. It hardly requires mention, but the area around 5th and Chestnut is the major national historic site of Independence Hall. For blocks around, you can see various historic buildings, and to cover it all would take days.Limiting yourself to Philly Cheesesteaks is a little like going to Paris and just trying French Fries. Philadelphia is a cosmopolitan city, with all ethnic cuisines represented, and all budgets can find decent food.

every where you go is safe... center city(broad st, walnut st, and chestnut st.) is probably safer because its lighter and more people around... pats and genos steaks are the same thing...tony lukes is the place to be...

Pat s Geno s suck. They have too much chewy fat on their steaks,,ew. Jim s Steaks are the best, they are located at 4th South.... I promise you won tget hurt lol. Have fun!!!!!

Then you dont want a real Philly cheese steak...get in line at Ginos with the rest of the tourists...
