I want to know how many toll polls and how much it would cost from Florida to Chicago? -

Should be zero unless you take the Skyway bridge, which will just be a couple bucks. That is, to get TO Chicago, if you are going THROUGH Chicago, then it might cost you a little. Would depend on the route. For me to go from Wisconsin to FLA, it costs me one 50 cent toll, because I don t go through Chicago, not worth it and really I think the way I go is faster. So, too many variables here. But I have done this trip many times, my sister lives near Gainesville

Relocating to Fort Lauderdale? -

I will be relocating to the Fort Lauderdale area next summer. What are some good areas as far as the public school system goes?

Giving due consideration to the lower quality of education provided by the Florida public school system when compared with the national average, I d have to look closely at the schools in the far western suburbs of the area. Schools in cities such as Coral Springs, Coconut Creek, Sunrise, Pembroke Pines, Davie, and Weston appear to have better ratings than schools in the eastern part of the area, which includes the city of Fort Lauderdale.

Davie is good for all three levels of schools- elementary, middle and high school. And not as crowded as the rest of the area. Also not so ghetto!

How does chris mccandless see alaska? -

in a word, naively.he thought nature was a big, fluffy, loving entity that would provide all the necessities of life for easy access. he assumed that he didn t need any special or skills or training knowledge to live off the land.he learned that the wilderness is 100% hostile to humans and will do its best to kill us.in short, he starved and died horribly due to his naivete. His body was found in his sleeping bag inside the bus on September 6, 1992, weighing an estimated 67 pounds (30 kg). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher

What is state of Arizona like?? -

I m going to Arizona in mid March.. Is it hot there??I m from the east coast and it is like REALLY cold in March! haha~ my friend said it s pretty warm, but how warm is it? Is it warm enough to wear shorts and a tank top?

For most people, it is hot here.I have lived here all my life, and I am used to it, so in the winter I am freezing even when it is 80 degrees!Anyways, since you are from the east coast, you would easily get buy with a tank top and shorts, but since I am used to the heat, pretty much anything below 70 makes me get on sweaters and jeans! In March, the average will probably be 80s or even 90s, but it could be 70s as well.If you could elaborate on which part of AZ you are going to it would help because places like Flagstaff and Prescott are lots colder than Phoenix.

You ll love Arizona,

If you work at a hotel, can you live there? -

because my boyfriend wants to get a job at a hotel. and he is looking for an apartment too. so i just need to know.

It s possible, sure. Just depends on the hotel. Most chains allow the manager a room but as far as other employees - probably not. Need to find a Mom and Pop hotel.Good luck.

More so motels have what you call live-in quarters for those who are employed there. As for hotels, this factor is less available...It s just up to the owner/owners. I don t know if this counts, but I once remodeled a hotel in my past was able to live there for the 2 1/2 months of time it took to complete the job.

How can you get around orlando, florida, without a car? (to disney parks etc.)? -

Do hotels provide transport at all or can you get buses to parks?

If you are wanting to base your holiday at Walt Disney World you can travel by public transport to Universal but allow 60-90 mins. The Lynx bus number 50 travels from Walt Disney World to SeaWorld, change to Lynx number 8 (ask for a transfer ticket when boarding for one fare of $2) which will go up International Drive. If you get off at Wet n Wild, Universal is 15 minute walk away. Most hotels have shuttle buses to the parks but they can take a while as there are many pick ups.You can also use the I Trolley which links SeaWorld, Wet n Wild, and the shopping malls. My son prefers the roller coasters and we like to base our holiday in International Drive area which is ideal for Universal, Wet n Wild, SeaWorld and aquatica. We travelled by Lynx bus to Disney a few times but took a while. If you have young children I would recommend hiring a car if you are traveling from Disney to Universal more than a couple of times ( about 30 min drive). Budget $14 per day for park parking.I ve been a few times and found the buses cheap and reliable, I would not hire a car unless you where planning to do some long trips to Miami and Everglades.Have funCheck out this site for more infohttp://orlandorollercoaster.com/

Well, to do this you MUST stay at a Disney owned hotel/resort. There is buses to every park and water park and Downtown Disney from all Disney owned hotels. From Every park, water park, and Downtown disney, there is a station for the bus that can take you back to your hotel. Also, some hotels, like The Yacht and Beach club, The Swan and Dolphin, and Disney s Boardwalk Resort you can take a boat to some parks, in this case, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot! They come around every 15 minutes!

It s possible, but it will limit your options.Disney and Universal have on-site hotels and, if you focus your vacation on those report complexes, then you don t need a car.The Iride Trolley links Universal and SeaWorld and the tourist strip in between. And if you want to visit somewhere farther afield you can always call a taxi.

Well its hard to walk so thats not really an option (unless you have very comfy shoes and can walk in extreme temperatures haha)Hotels provide transport yes (depending on which one you go to.) You can t really get buses as they only run in between the parks and the hotels. You can get a taxi though, thats probably the best option of getting around.I wouldnt bother getting around with no car though as you cant go where you want when ever you want as you cant really walk.

If you stay on site at WDW getting around without a car is very easy. The bus transportation is very reliable. To go off site you would have to take a taxi or mears shuttle. I have read that mears has a pick up at one of the downtown disney hotels. This would not be the same as sneaking onto the transportation of a hotel you aren t staying, as others have accused in the past. Mears charges per passenger and rents the space at the hotel. You would have to contact them directly for their information.http://www.mearstransportation.com/

It really depends on where you re staying. Some resorts (off-property) provide shuttle transport to the theme parks and some do not. You need to check with the resort before booking your vacation.

I would say the IRIDE it takes you where you need to go and its only $1 I always use it when im on holiday there!!

Why does it seem like everyone hates New Jersey? -

Over the years, growing up as a Jersey girl I ve noticed everyone hates us. It s mainly the Staten Island guidos, but whenever I go out of state and tell people I m from NJ I get weird looks. A majority of NJ isn t full of guidos (most of them are the bennies who come spend a few weeks here for the summer and dirty up our beaches) and only a small portion of it is industrial (most is filled with farmland and suburbs, actually!)And now that MTV is putting out that stupid show about the Real Jersey Shore I ve seen the hatred and animosity even more. People dislike our state because of the people who vacation here! I ve lived in central Jersey my whole life and I don t personally know anyone who is orange with the spiked hair or fake boobs...So what gives?! Where did this deep Jersey-hatred start and why are we so looked down upon?

I think for most people, New Jersey is an abstract place- not particularly known for tourism, not a real bastion of liberalism or conservatism, no major sports team, etc. In the absence of real information about the state, people turn to what they hear about it from others/the media, i.e. it has a bunch of factories and New Yorkers make fun of it a lot. My perception of people from New Jersey (New Jersians?) is that they are people who wanted the benefits of New York city combined with the benefits of suburbia- and for some odd reason, that makes me think of the Mob.Most of the other states stand out for some reason: Florida in the 2000 election (and old people), California for being liberal, Utah for LDS, etc. Anyway, at least you re not known for having elected Sarah Palin as governor.

The truth of the matter is that New Jersey is one of the most beautiful states in the northeast. A few toxic waste sites, but, hey what state doesn t! It s the people that are the problem! They are perceived to be loud, obnoxious, egotistical jerks. But hey, what state doesn t have those too! So I guess it s an image problem that will take some really in depth advertising to overcome!

I m from jersey too good thing were not from W.V. take it with a grain of salt their jealous because all their meds come from here and we have the best tasting tomatoes in the world and we have the best off shore fishing and hold the world record striper fish. and if any given day you look at car tags a lot are from out of state enjoying our state ..

i know, i live near the jets training place and when brett favre came, they took pictures of my town and put it on espn, and they thought it was montana. plus, its because north jersey is overshadowed by nyc. central by philly and lower by nothing, kind of.

cuz only the strongest survive here

I need help on moving to America ? -

I live in the UK and would love to move to America one day I know there are difficult to let people in since the 911 or that s what my mum has told me What do i need to do in order to live in America Please help me, i would like to know the best places to live in America, how there money works, and what i will need to go threw in order to live there

You will need to get a passport, apply for a Visa and work to earn your citizenship.Follow this link: http://www.uscitizenship.info/ins-citize This should answer most of your questions. The cost is great, but worth it. I would suggest living in the Southeastern part of the U.S. The weather there is most mild. The north is too cold and the deep south is too hot.

You have a choice. Marry an American or get a job in the US, for which you will need a degree and for which there are no Americans available. You can also get a job in the UK and get transferred to the US. This is easier.
