Mt baldy rd Road Reports? -

Hello, Me and my friends are going to Mt Baldy this weekend and i was wondering what the road condition for mt baldy rd (the road you take up the mountain) was.Last year when we went we didn t take any tire chains and the road was really bad so we had to wake like 2 miles up hill.note: we don t go to the mt. baldy ski resort, we usually just pull to the side when we see a lot of people and stay there.

I think that the Mt Baldy road has been closed after 911, now you can only access it by foot. There has been however talk of reopening this road.

How long did it take to to travel from Kansas to California on the Transcontinental Railroad? -

I need this for a report.

3 days.

Does it rain alot in Portland, OR? -

And / or is it always gray and cloudy out there? Or is it sunny at least a truly good amount of time?

I m a fairly recent transplant from CA, and I have to say YES! It s driving me nuts. In the Bay Area I was used to a storm coming in for 2-3 days, then everything would dry out. Here it will start to drizzle. And two weeks later it is still drizzling. With the occasional heavy shower, and 2-3 times per week a peek at the Sun. But the rain keeps going and going and going ... If you are lucky it will stop in May.

its only nice hot sunny in the summer...other than that, its sunny out but wet lol but its calm. It hasn t been like pouring for over 3 years or so. but always drizzling lol Report Abuse

You get a lot of rain, but unlike what the stereotype shows, the sun comes out quite a bit in the midst of rainy times. It only gets grayed-over and totally cloudy for several days on end once or twice a year. The rest of the time you get mixes of rain and partly cloudy days. And it s pretty warm and sunny all summer long.

It s mostly cloudy during the winter months, sometimes drizzly and rainy, but not pouring every day no stop. It s often over dramatized...the only place that gets lots is Vancouver (BC).Spring and Fall are a pretty moderate balance in weather, which is nice, and summers are usually hot (and the few random cloudy days will be a welcome change).Overall the city has good weather.

For the most part, it s usually cloudy/rainy during all of the seasons but Summer (Snow in the winter :P); typical Oregon whether.
