what comes to mind?

I think of Coen Brothers settings, a la *Raising Arizona*: a desolate landscape with sparse, dry brush. A creaking sign swinging in light wind on a dilapidated 50+ year old small building with a rusty gas pump out front beside the gravel road.

I think of The Grand Canyon, Sedona and the Red Rock formations, The Phoenix Zoo, Saugauro National Park, Prickly Pear Cactus, Giant Saugauros, Gila Monsters, great spas, The Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, Lake Mead, Montezuma Castle, Karchner Caverns State Park, London Bridge, Jerome ghost town, Old Tucson Studios, and Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, lots of deserts. Arizona is a wonderful state to visit.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEE it..I am from Chicago, Illinois...I have family that lives there...so I go all the time..in fact Ill be there for 9 days for XMAS in a couple weeks.....have you ever been? I just love the variation in landscape...every corner you turn is a new adventure...SEDONA...GRAND CANYON...FLAGSTAFF...PHOENIX...ALLLL of it is just such a different experience...the only bad thing is that people walk really slow in the summer when its 120 degrees....lol...oh..and the drivers are reallly baddddd

Arizona is a very diverse state having everything except an ocean. To say it is only a desert shows ignorance. It is a beautiful state with much to offer. Phoenix is one of the 5 largest cities in the USA.

I need a quick sure way to get to JFK from Grand Central.

The quick way is by helicopter.The only reasonably priced way that does not usually result in getting caught in traffic is by train (subway or LIRR to Jamaica, then the AirTrain).There are also buses, taxis, etc., all of which usually get caught in traffic.

There is a bus that goes from Grand Central to both airports. It takes about an hour though so I d leave a bit early but it s half the cost of a taxi. I think it s on the 45th street side across the street.

I got a parking ticket in New York City with the wrong license plate number? -

The parking ticket was for an expired meter. The license plate number printed on it had two letters transposed (instead of ABC123 it was ACB123). Will they be able to track me down if I don t pay it because the license plate number is wrong.

If its clearly wrong.... and you don t respond. They will send a notice to the owner of the vehicle with the plate that they wrote on your ticket. I m assuming the make (dodge, bmw, lincoln) is listed on the citation/ticket, maybe even the color? Assuming they don t have the same make of vehicle as you and or color... when they show the registration to the parking authority, they will probably just dismiss the ticket. I say this because I had the same thing happen before and I went to pay it, and the lady told me that if I hadn t come in... it would have just been voided after the actual owner would have shown that their car didn t match the description on my ticket.While I can t recommend what will happen in your case, nor do I condone trying to evade the law... but you might be able to get away with it lol.

As an longtime owner of a midtown delivery route I got a few tickets. Close inspection often showed me the tickets were invalid. Defective is the word they prefer. A bad plate number was the best because that means that the ticket is not connected to you in any way. Unless, of course, you happen to own the other plate For your own peace of mind , go to the . If you go to NYC.gov and look for How to pay a parking ticket you can search for your license plate number and see if there are any tickets for that plate number. You re probably right, you probably don t have to pay it, but it s good to check and see that there are no tickets connected to your plate!

Hawaii isn t hot too much. The sun is definitely more intense than Florida or Texas in the summer, but the tradewinds do a good job of keeping the air pretty much between 60 and 80 F (18-28 C) year round.
