Who crops dog ears well that is inexpensive in atlanta,ga.? -

cropping a pitbulls ears

This is somewhat irrelevant but I feel I HAVE to say this.. Cropping a puppys ears is a big deal and it can last for months..We got our dobe cropped and hes had to go back for weeks having to repost them. Plus since this surgery will determine the look of your pet FOREVER Id say just go with the better quality. We payed $500 for ours but the vet really did an amazing job and like i said the past two months he goes in 2x a week to be looked at nad have ointment put on him free of charge :)

It s kinda cruel to do. I advise to leave them natural for the animals sake.

Where can i sell aluminum cans in vancouver washington or portland oregon. please help. thank you.? -

I was told that there are machines in front of stores (don t know which stores) that collect them and pays $.5 for every can. Don t know where these machines are located at. I live in Vancouver Washington. I would also like to know since we have already crushed the cans, can the machine take them. Thank you.

Don t crush the cans. The machines have to be able to read the barcode. You can do the returns at Fred Meyer locations and safeway. Since you have crushed them already don t think any place will take them now. Good Luck

How do you just get up and move states? -

I own a business in los angeles but want to move to new york. How do i move all of my stuff there? especially all the stuff for the business? (ITS TONS!) do we get uhauls or how does that work? and how muc do you think it would cost to move everything?

If you have a semi truck full of stuff you would benefit yourself to call a trucking company like Swift or JB Hunt, if you have less than a truck load you need to talk to ask their rate for an LTL but neither Swift or JB Hunt is good for LTL s, for those you should try a smaller outfit like Watkins Sheperd, Here is there info. Watkins Shepard Trucking Incwww.wksh.com - (406) 728-6121Most companies will move it, but you will need to arrange to have it loaded and unloaded. Watkins Sheperd may load and unload for a fee if you have everything packed up. It is usually best to have a forklift and a loading ramp or forklift and crate dolly, most do not hand load any more. If you have a CDL or know of someone who does, you can rent a truck from Penske or possibly from United or Ryder and take everything by large truck, For a full semi load expect to pay around $2.00 per mile. For LTL loads expect to be paying around $1.00 per mile for half load or $.75 per mile on 1/4 load. To rent the truck it will cost a lot more in the long run than to hire a shipping company like Watkins Shepperd or Swift. You can also look at local trucking companies, if you have a full load you can also post it simply type in posting a load for trucks on google and it will give you several sites some that are free or have free trial periods which would work well for you since it is a one time thing, and it will post it to several different dispatchers or brokers. Expect to call around a few different places to get the best price and plan to haggle a little. You can talk them down simply because a lot of eastern trucks are looking for loads to get them home. It is always easier to get a load from the east coast going west than it is to get a load from the west coast going all the way to the east coast. You can use this information to your advantage. Also, plan on moving all your household items with your business to save money. The closer you come to filling up a truck the better your chances are at getting it moved. A full truck load or paying as if it were a full truck load will give you more people who are willing to haul it for you. For a full truck load that you will load and load plan on around a $4500 bill. or an LTL of $3000. Sometimes it is just easier to pay for the full load.

As a business owner you shouldn t have to ask us the best way to make the move. You must have financial advisers who can tell you how much it would cost to move, the least expensive way and if it would be more economical to sell the equipment and replace things once you find a location in NY.

i think with u haul it cost per mile. i moved from chicago to texas n it was expensive and things got destroyed. good luck.

Moab / Canyonlands or Monument Valley? -

Hi, I want to hit the canyons in the upcoming weeks, but can t make up my mind if I should go to the Arches / Canyonlands area or to Monument Valley. I only have a couple of days and can t explore everything (or should I try?). I ve already been to Grand, Bryce and Zion

Monument Valley is a very scenic place and there are a couple of sweeping vistas that are world famous. However, it is a surprisingly small area and the number of activities that you can do there are somewhat limited. There are some guided horse and jeep tours (all or half day) and a short driving loop that you can do on your own. That is about it. You can get a good sense of the place in a few hours doing the driving tour, but it is hard to imagine spending more than one day and a couple of nights there tops. There is quite a bit to see and do around Moab. Like Monument Valley, Arches is small, but very impressive. Canyonlands is huge and you could spend weeks exploring it (although most of it is largely undeveloped and involves hiking and 4WDing). Hovenweep and Natural Bridges monuments are relatively nearby too. If you are into hiking, mountain biking, 4WD, rock climbing, rafting or photography, you could easily spend a week or two at Moab exploring the surrounding area.Since you don t really need a lot of time to experience MV, you probably could drive down there and back from Moab in a single day (it is only about a 2.5 hour drive one way). If you left early, you could probably even fit a short visit to Hovenweep National Monument (prehistoric ruins) on the way there or back. Note that MV looks best at sunrise or sunset. As sunset is pretty early this time of year, you could probably stay for sunset and still get back to Moab at a decent hour that evening. But if you don t want to do all that driving and want to focus your time on just one spot or the other, than the Moab area definitely has more to see and do over a period of several days.Lastly, note that your lodging, eating and fuel/supply options around Monument Valley are very limited. There is a new lodge ran by the reservation at MV and the nearby famous Goulding s Trading Post and Lodge. Beyond that, there is not much in the way of facilities except for the very limited services and businesses in the very small nearby towns of Mexican Hat, UT and Kayenta, AZ (both about 30 minutes away from MV).

Hi Dana:No. If it has a zip code, it is considered domestic mail. I d send it soon if I were you. This is THE busiest time of year for the post office.fyi: There are speedier (much more expen$ive) services available, but to Alaska from Michigan at this time of year, just send it!

Trump Marina or the Sheraton AC for a New Years Eve getaway? -

We re a group of friends in our 20 s; suggestions for New Years Eve parties are also very welcome.

I d go with the Sheraton only because it s closer to the Boardwalk, where there might be more going on. The Marina is kind of isolated. All of the casinos have clubs, I m sure you can find something to suit your style.

Which airport would it be more convenient to take public transportation into the city. JFK or LGA? -

JFK, without a doubt. From JFK you can just take the AitTrain (monorail) to Jamaica Station and then either take the subway or the LIRR (commuter train) into Manhattan. From LGA you d need to take a bus (which isn t all that convenient to get to). I hate taking the bus.

John F. Kennedy International Airport. You can take the JFK Airtrain from the terminals to either Howard Beach or Jamaica Station for connection to the subway.Good luckNative New Yorker

I would choose LGA... the amount of transfers are less, if you can put up with traveling in a bus, which I do not mind at all. The M60 takes you directly into 125th street, from where you have many combination available to go downtown or uptown.

Either or are easy, depending on traffic. Try the shuttles or buseshttp://www.goairlinkshuttle.comhttp://www.nyairportservice.com/

I agree about JFK. You ve got the Airtran right there, which takes you to Jamaica station. From there, you can either take the Long Island Railroad or a subway into Manhattan.

Newark. The train station is at the airport and it s an easy 15 minute ride into Midtown.

I never understood why NY does not have Subways going right to the airports like they do in both of the Chicago Airports

Always go with JFK whenever possible The air train is right there and there are buses and taxis as well

Go from ERW in Jersey. Takes you right into downtown Manhatten!

I need a place to stay in San Francisco for about 2.5 months....any ideas? -

the area needs to be around pacific heights or lafayette park

You might have some luck checking the sublet or roommate listings on Craig s List. You can search by neighborhood.http://www.craigslist.org

You can often find a good cabin / condo that is available for a cheap price for an extended period of time. There are many places to stay around the San Fran. area.Rather than give you a specific property name and location, I would suggest that you do some research on the available houses/condos, the prices and the locations. I have used justvr.com in the past and it was quite helpful for narrowing down my choices and booking the stay.
