What is the most romantic place you have been to. My girlfriend and I have been going out for 3 years and I want to do something very special for her. We are traveling to Oklahoma this weekend but I don t know anywhere we can go. Help me please!

People in southern Georgia, can you help me? -

While planning a road trip recently, I noticed that there are a pair of adjacent counties in Georgia named Coffee and Bacon. I was wondering if any of the nearby counties had ever considered changing their names to Eggs, Grits, and Biscuits to complete the breakfast menu. (Feel free to admit if you laughed.)On a marginally more serious note, are there any decent tourist attractions in these two counties? I m looking for historical sites, museums, or even things which will just make me wonder WTF was someone thinking? Thanks for taking the time to answer this question.

haha im from Georgia... First of All Coffee County was named after General John Coffee, who fought in the region s Indian wars and was a hero of the War of 1812. Historic Sites in Douglas include the Coffee County Bank, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the Veterans Memorial and Museum. There is also a driving tour of the downtown historical district of Douglas.Second, Bacon County was named for Senator Augustus O. Bacon, a four-term U.S. Senator who died in office. I need help planning a trip/vacation to Colorado? -

I m planning a trip to Colorado for Feb. 2011, but I m now hearing that is not a good time of year to go. I m from Miami, FL not used to COLD weather. This is a couples get-a-way!!! None of us have ever been and we are kinda stuck... I have been in a situation before where I ve gone somewhere new had a lot of coulda, shoulda, woulda s once I returned and found out all the other GREAT things I could have done. DON T WANT THAT AGAIN! So please give advice on: Best City and WHY? (location:close to shopping/restaurants), Nice rentable houses/cabins (3+br/pool/nice amenities), Night life (we re young, lol). I ve looked online, but I don t wanna go somewhere just b/c it s pretty on the pictures. We do wanna ski enjoy the activites cold weather has to offer. I would look at Breckenridge/Dillon area. Dillon has a nice Outlet Mall, and there are several ski areas nearby, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Keystone. Both towns have good restaurants and clubs. The prices are a bit more reasonable than places like Aspen and Vail. You will however pay a lot for a pool. An indoor pool costs a small fortune to heat in winter in Colorado and the cost will be passed on to you. You might want to try snowshoeing as well as skiing. It is slower, less demanding, and you get to actually see the scenery. Snowshoes are available for rental and there are lots of great trails in the area..If you can be there before Feb 7, attend the International Snow Sculpture Championships which will be taking place in Breckenridge. Vail or Breckenridge are real good places to go skiing, and are real fun towns. They also have nice places to stay in and places to throw your money around. Enjoy!

Totally agree with Dillon. Its way pretty up there, with easy access to many mountains, including Vail. Telluride is really nice too...and kinda pain in the azz to get to. Just getting there is an accomplishment.

Tips for Disney World this Christmas? -

If this is your first time, it ll be tough.But here are tips, i go every year1. FAST PASS! 2. In Magic Kingdom, go to Fantasyland first-those are slow moving rides that get long lines by the end3. If you are attending the Very Merry Christmas Party, wait til the very end! The people leave around 11 and if you can handel staying up late, then stay till the very end4. See The Osbourne Lights! OMG They are amazing5. The World at epcot is Beautiful6. Don t eat lunch at prime lunch times! Those become prime ride times! 7. Leave the hotel bright and early8. Character breakfasts! that way while you re speedwalking from ride to ride you don t have to wait for characters9. The whole park is beautiful so bring a camera!10. Don t bring a giant bag of junk! Just bring an divers licence (they will card you, they cared my 60 year old uncle! He looks his age too!) a credit card or cash your room keys and any other necesites. You don t need the fifty two tissue packs a big wallet, fifty two pictures of your kids/other family, recipts from three years ago, granola bar wrappers, etc11. If you ve been to Disney World Before, you can stop to look at the hotels!12. If you re staying in the park, dont rent a car take the buses and monorails. It s incredibly annoying to park the car and walk back. Disney is a lot of walking so your feet will like the rest the public system gives you13. Wear comfy shoes! Like i said, its alot of walking!14. Have Fun! It s Disney!15. The resturant in Mexico has a ride inside and great food! even if you dont eat there, that s a place with no line and a decent ride. It really isn t that bad, I just remeber to do these things1) If you want to sit down for meals without waiting and hour and a half then you need reservations-- for everything2)Get Fastpasses for the most popular stuff first, cause during the peak season Expedition Everest and Space Mountain and Rock n Rollercoaster can be out of passes by noon3)don t freak out if you have to do things a little slower-just enjoy surroundings and such4)Show up about an hour after the gates open. If you show up right when they open then you get stuck in a huge mass of people and it sets you up for a day of stress.5)If you are a first timer to Disney the use the Unofficial Guide to WDW, I swear on their touring plans during peak season

I am going from the 21st to the 27th! My family goes every year so I am pretty creditable :) I would say the best advice would be to utilize extra magic hours. These are hours that only resort guests can get into the park which makes it A LOT less crowded! Also If your looking for a great place to eat at Magic Kingdom there is a place called Liberty Tree Tavern that isexcellentt. You will also want to get fast passes for rides with long waits and while you are waiting for them to be in session, try finding a less crowded ride.Must see attractions: Tower of Terror,Haunted Mansion,Rock n Roller Coaster,Soarin, Mission Space ( although if you have motion sickness DO NOT RIDE!),Thunder Mountain Railroad,Space Mountain,Splash Mountain, Mount Everest (best rollercoaster in the park!), and many many others!What resort are you staying at? -Cameron
