Please help me. especially if you have been admitted or go to a nyu or California state? -

Ok so i have applied to a few universities and cal states and my sat score for writing and critical reading are around 550 but math 350. The places that i have applied show that my writing and critical reading scores are good but my math barely meets the requirements. What should i do? if cal states give their decisions later on, then should i retake the SATS? Will it really affect my admissions? I applied to San Jose, cal state la, San Diego, and San bernardino. Please give me advice. I would love to ask my counselor but she believes that i don t have a chance at college so yeah. Thank you.

If you are referring to THE NYU (in New York City) then you don t have a chance at getting in. Also, to the other person that commented, there is no such thing as in state and out of state tuition at NYU. It s a private school. Anyway, if you have the time to study and do better on the SATs then by all means take them again. You can also apply again next semester. If you don t get in, go to a community college and then transfer to a Cal State. You can apply to transfer out of community college whenever you want so don t feel stuck there. Good luck!

I don t answer questions from people that block their Q A s, (often that information helps give a better answer), but consider that if you go to NYU, you will pay non resident tuition rates. No disrespect intended. Please review the rules of grammar about capitalizing proper nouns. It s something you will be graded on in college.

When can I start driving in New York? -

I want to be able to travel all over New Englandmainly to MA, and NH. I m 15 now. how old will i have to be to take a full big road trip like that?

You will have to be 16 to drive in New York State with a learner s permit, which included certain restrictions. Once you turn 18 you re allow to drive with a regular license.Good luck

Usually you have to be eighteen to get a license. I think that you can get a junior license at seventeen if you take driver s ed. That license is not valid in NYC, however.

Hotel check-in and check-out questions? -

The posted check in time in my hotel is 3PM. My flight arrives at about 1PM. Should i go straight to the hotel and let them know i ll be checking-in or should i just wait until 3PM. Also it mentions that the check-out time is at 11AM. My flight leaves at 10:30PM. When i check- out, where would be the best place to store my luggage until i go to the airport? Do hotels offer services like that?

If you actually land at 1 PM, you probably won t get to your hotel much before 3 PM anyway. Until you get off the plane and collect your luggage (which seems to take 30 - 45 minutes anymore). Then wait at the rental car counter or wait to hail a cab and finally the drive to the hotel. If however, you do get there before 3 PM, they would let you check in if they have a room available. If they don t, they would let you store your luggage with the bellman until your room is ready. After check-out time, again you can check your luggage with the bell man who will give you a claim check to pick it up when you re ready to leave for the airport. Or if you ll have a rental car, throw your luggage in the trunk and then you won t have to stop at the hotel on the way to the airport.

By the time you get your lugguage and make your way to the hotel, it will be close to 3. Unless you are checking on Jan 1 (day after New Years Eve) or some other super busy time. Most likely they will have a room ready. The hotel will be able to keep your luggage on the day you check out. Also, as long as you are checking out on a not super busy day, they most likely would allow you to keep the room until 6pm for about $60-$80.

With your flight arriving at 1, you will probably be getting to your hotel around 2:30 or so - it takes a while to wait for luggage and then get transportation, be it a shuttle, taxi, or rental car. They will likely have your room ready, and will let you check in if that s the case. We have always arrived at our hotel between 12-1 and have always been able to check right in. Nearly all hotels will keep your luggage for you if you need to check out before you re ready to actually leave. They typically store it in a locked room and give you a baggage check tag. You just come back and get it when you re ready to leave. Be sure to tip!

If your flight is on time, it still will take some time to go from the airport to the hotel, so you will arrive near the checkin time anyway. Most hotels will have some leeway on the checkin time of 1/2 hour or so, if you were to arrive about 2:30. Don t know if hotels offer a baggage hold area or not it may differ from one to another - you may just have to put your bags in the car trunk.....presuming that you are renting a car

You can check in but your room may not be ready but they will hold your luggage until it is ready. When we stayed at the Stratosphere last September our checkout time was 11.00am but our flight wasn t until 1.00pm,we rang the reception and they put us througth to the bell desk who kept our luggage until the airport shuttle arrived, they even took it outside for us.I think you ll find all hotels give this service but don t forget to tip.

The check in time is the earliest time to check in, you can check in after this. The check out time is the latest time for check out, you can check out before this. Most hotels have somewhere you can leave your luggage.Hope this helps.Have a great trip.

On arrival or when you check out you can requerst the bellman/concierge to hold your luggage.Check in when you arrive and some times they have a room ready. When you make the reservation request (not guaranteed) a room for early arrival.

If you arrange with the hotel, they pick you up and drop you of at the airport and you don t have to worry about check-in or check-out times. They will do worry for you.Peace.
