Any advice and or rules for it , would be appreciated. I see on movies people betting on either red or black, but that seems just too easy !!!! Is that really all theres to it? I know about the green and double green and about betting on numbers. But that 49% chance of doubling your money just seems too good to be true?
Most casinos won t let you bet on red and black at the same time. They assume that you are trying to waste time to get free drinks.---------------The odds are not 49% since 0 and 00 are colored green. That means 2 out of 38 times you will lose, so the house edge is over 5.26%. The Roulette bets that pay 1:1 or 2:1 are not very sensible. It is better to play line bets in craps. Roulette should be played only for 4:1, 6:1, 9:1, 12:1, and 36:1 bets.--------------If you are playing bets that pay less than 4:1 then craps is the better game (with a much lower house edge). Roulette has essentially the same house edge all the time. So why waste it on even pays. Just go for the big win. --------------Craps has different house edges for every bet. But for bets that have a payout of 4:1 up to the maximum craps payout of 33:1 the house edge is much higher than 5.26% on roulette. If you take enough free odds in craps, the house edge is lower than perfect play in blackjack (for some multideck games) and you don t have to remember as much.
Sure can look at the board there is a place for red or black you can also play four corners of a number or half of a number or half red and half black but that is like not even betting and kind of defeats the purpose of the bet but there are people who do it... Hello silly! Those people make me laugh they must be first timers...I do not gamble anymore I loved to bet on my mother in laws birthday and her age at the time that I learned to play that age was 72 I won a lot on it played 24 on the half a lot 5 on all 4 corners and number 1 we won a lot on different tables using those numbers in different combinations either all on or half on or four corners but yes red and black are things you can bet. I used to love the game but not a good gamble really lots of people lose their bums on the game! Trust me on this!
Yes, you can, but there is usually a minimum you have to play on those. Like at $1 tables, the minimum on black or red is usually $5. You have a 50/50 chance betting on red or black, but pay out isn t great. You double up or lose it all. If you hit a number, the payout is like 38 to 1...so if you only played one dollar on the number...you just came up $38.

Casinos look from the stance: we are more then likely to make money per person, thus if we attract enough people to do it, we ll make money. Go with your gut feeling on a number as you approach the wheel...many times I would have won if I bet that way. I usually bet 20, split 20/17, 32, 8, 11. Playing this game you don t have to worry what others think when you play blackjack.
The green is betting the house wins. You can play red and black at any time, or columns, or group of four numbers placing on the corner of all four, or a single number, etc.
