Coast to move to texas? -

how much is it going to coast to move to texas? like to buy a house etc....

It depends on where you are moving in Texas. Bigger cities and places on or near the coast can be more expensive than other parts of Texas. You will also need a car for transportation unless you move to one of the larger cities.

Coast? Learn to spell!

Anyon know where I can get cheep beer in Vegas? -

I m thirsty.

Yes, it s called a beer run and in the end you ll have free beer.First find a store that sells alcohol. I d say find one that doesn t focus mainly on alcohol, like wal-mart or longs drugs. A gas station works too but it usually involves running to get away with it.Second walk in and act casual. Remember, you re not doing anything wrong until you actually do something wrong so act normal. Once you get to the alcohol aisle you will have to choose what you want. Single tall cans work great if you want two or three to drink, you can just put them in your pants and make sure your shirt covers them. If you have a back pack, you can just stick however many you can fit in there. You can also choose bottles of vodka or any other kind of alcohol. If you choose to grab a pack of beers, grab the biggest one you can because remember, whether you get caught with an 18 pack or a 24 pack makes no difference. Third walk out. Usually just walking out the front works. Most of the times you can get away without an employee seeing you. If an employee does see you, he ll rarely follow you. They ll usually say something like: Stop right there! which you can respond by running. Unless they physically have you held down to where you are, you can always run. No matter what they say, unless they grab you, you ll be fine. Carrying out packs of beer usually triggers this response so be ready. After that, you ll just have to find a place to drink. Don t do it in the middle of the street and you ll be fine. Go to a park or the back of a building. Believe me, this works and the result is free beer and or alcohol plus an adrenaline rush and a feeling of acomplishment.

Lees Discount Liquors with many locatiosn in Las VEgas and N. LV and Henderson. They have a web page. Also, the major grocery stores all have beer and it is very affordable. And the stores like CVS have liquor depts, with beer and in store coupons. They are all afforedable prices.

If you gamble in any of the big casino s you get all your drinks for free.

Go to a grocery store and buy some

If you live in Florida, please answer :) thank you!? -

I live in New Hampshire, and I will be moving to Tampa in January. Could you please tell me what it s like there and how it is different from NH? Things like style of clothes, types of people, differences in culture, customs, or anything like that. I m 18 and I will be going to college next fall, so any advice about colleges in FL would be great too! Any advice is greatly appreciated!!! :)

You will find that the majority of people in Florida are from other parts of the country and world and have been in the same boat as you. People tend to be very laid back here and the fashions won t be any different. Food is pretty much the same but you will find more southern influences on the food. As for college, there s lots here to choose from. If you live here for a year you can get residency and the tuition will be signifigantly lower then if you are considered an out of state student.

I lived in mass up til i was 25 years old then moved to Florida and have been here ever since...The people here are more laidback, the styles of clothes are the same here as what you would wear in the summer in N.H...the food is not any different than what you eat...Fishing and boating are what everybody seems to do here. It s just a laidback state where bikini s rule

I live in St Pete... five minutes from Tampa... just over the bridge. We wear sandals a lot.We eat burgers, pizza, and tacos. We have no accent... just typical American.and it s common for girls to like girls.

GO TO USF GO TO USF!!!!!!

why would the customs and culture be any different when you are still in the same country?? LOLZ

grits ha ha thats great.

Grits!!!! This is not 1857. I have had grits only once in my life.

New Years Plans? in NJ? -

Ok so my boyfriend is visiting me from Maryland to my home in New Jersey and Im wondering what we should do for New Years? I considered to go to New York to see the ball drop, but i feel like it would be too much of a hassel. Does anyone know of other fun things? Down the shore perhaps?

Why don t you go to the glacial lakes to the cross-country skiing trails, you will find something for everyone in Kittatinny Valley State Park in Newton. Here s a good article for great places to go in NJ. http://www.bergennewjersey.org/bergen_new_jersey/bergen-new-jersey-where-to-go-in-nj

How far is the City of Phoenix from the Mexican border? -

im just wondering how long it would take to drive from Phoenix to Mexico?

Sorry, that travel path is backwards! Nobody goes FROM Phoenix to the border, everybody goes from the border TO Phoenix (unless Sheriff Joe catches em first!)

A couple of hours. Don t listen to paranoid people like Pepper. She s probably never even been there and just hears about the bad stuff going on. I just got back from Rocky Point! its a lot of fun there, but if you want to go to a very small fishing town (what rocky point use to be like), go to El Golfo De Santa Clara. It s about an hour and a half south of Yuma, AZ. Fun place!

A slightly shorter trip to the border would be to drive from Phoenix to Sonoyta, Mexico. It s 152 miles and 2 hrs 42 minutes.http://maps.yahoo.com/#mvt=m lat=32.6637

http://www.mapquest.com/maps?1c=Phoenix Around 175 A little over 2.5 hours Depending where you are in Phoenix of course

About 3 hours (depends how fast you drive) Please ignore all the IGNORANT RACIST people s answers lol. If you re planning on going, hope you have fun!

Don t do it! It isn t safe to drive into Mexico and the border towns aren t worth your time or risk of your life.

I am thinking in living in an hotel. Is it a good move? What do you think? -

If you travel for the majority of the year, then it could be worth it. Speak to a hotel manager on where you live or want to live and also see if you can get hotel points/rewards. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/search.ph

Hey Fernando: the risk of fire, paper thin walls, neighbours who may disappear at anytime with your stuff... there s a long list that someone could go on and on about. One point I would like to make is, why throw your money away? I know people who rented for over 25 years. Even at five hundred dollars a month, that s one hundred and fifty thousand dollars. ($150,000) What do you want to do? Make a hotel owner rich? I think there are many alternatives. Your question is too short to know anything else about you, but one thing I notice in the help wanted ads is that there seem to be a lot of ads for Superintendents and handy types for apartment buildings. A free apartment and a salary are included. Good luck.

It is outrageously expensive unless you get a real fleabag, and even then it will be expensive compared to a similarly fleabag apartment.

its a good idea, dont have to worry about maintaining house, only downside is that it will be small

Do all Texans talk in a really funny accent? -

I saw this thing on the internet once, so it must be true!

There s a wide range of accents in Texas, including a rather generic American accent, especially in urban areas. Two major white accent divisions are West Texas, which is more like the John Wayne style Texan, and East Texas, which is more like H. Ross Perot, former presidential candidate from Texarkana. You will also have a more mellowed out West and East accent as you get further north toward Oklahoma. There s a basic African American Vernacular English for many blacks, and also for varied races in urban areas--it has a flavor of white-Texan to it. There are a lot of Mexan-Americans, and even a lot of the Caucasians in far west Texas, like in El Paso, and in far south Texas, such as down in McAllen, will speak with a bit of a Mexican accent. In addition, you ve got a little bit of Cajun in the far southeast, and there are lots of accents from all over the world, especially in urban areas.Damn right they talk funny.

No, not all Texans have a southern accent. I ve met some people who have lived in the Dallas area there whole lives and they don t have an accent. Some people have them in Texas, while others don t.

Im sure not all of the talk the same...also im kind of surprised that u think that just cuz u saw something on the internet that u think its true or that it applys to everyone

You think Texans talk funny.....you should hear the people in New York

No

No some actually speak American.

When is the best time to visit Montana? -

im looking for a time when i wouldnt be bumping elbows with other tourists but also when its not too cold. a time when we can relax on the rivers and camp and hike ad naturewalk and sight see. not snowy times.

Montana is a beautiful state to visit. I envy you your trip. There are two best times. late Spring after the snows have all melted, and things begin to grow, or late Autumn just before the snow season starts when the leaves have changed color and are beginning to fall. Summer is too hot and dry, and Winter is too,too cold

well do not plan on visiting for a few months. My grandparents live in Montana and I have made many, many road trips to visit. It started snowing in november and will probably keep snowing until february/march. I always went during the summer and it was really nice. We went to the Gates of the Mountains and it is gorgeous! we went during the summer, but still wasn t too busy with boating.http://www.gatesofthemountains.com/We also went to YellowStone National Park..also a good hike but fun. Very cold, went around april time. ...and dont touch the wild goats..hah! people got mad at me.Anyway, email me if you have further questions!

Summer, the rest of the year is way too cold. Don t worry,Montana is a big place, and there aren t that many tourists

Um...

What are some hotels in Honolulu with really nice pools, on the beach, waterslides.... ext? -

There are resorts all over honolulu, but one of the nicest on Oahu is the Hilton Turtle Bay resort on the north shore. the Hilton Hawaiian Village is nice, too, but the the Turtle Bay has three pools, a water slide, two hot tubes, and more beach front than all of waikiki.

Hilton Hawaiian Village. It is world-renowned and also has a super-pool complex (recently built) with slides and easy beach/lagoon access and also 3 other pools. They are literally are a step away from the beach, and because of the sheer size of the Hilton Hotel/Timeshare complex, they stretch for a fair share of the beach coast. Recent renovations due to the newly constructed Grand Waikikian timeshare building have also sent much of the village through renovations, meaning the place is looking really nice. http://www.hiltonhawaiianvillage.com/ But seriously, if your coming to Hawai i or even if you live in Hawai i, get into the ocean, go surf. The waves are massive right now. Don t stay at the hotel like most tourists do, be adventurous! There is a lot more to do in Hawai i than just cruise at the beach.Hope you have a nice time, wherever your vacation may take you!

To name a few amongst the best .Hotel Sheraton Waikiki, HonoluluHotel Sheraton Princess Kaiulani, HonoluluHotel Imperial Of Waikiki, HonoluluAlso you can go for cheap hotels online bookings and also more good budget hotels in Honolulu with http://www.hotels2stay.net/honolulu-hoteHope it benefits you ..

Hilton... I don t know about water slides though... but there are like 2 pools in the whole resort and the beach takes literally 3 minutes to walk to. There is also a lagoon next to it(by the beach and hotel). Hope this helps!

HelloThis can help you to find nice hotel deals.we can check and compare current hotel prices along with reviews at hotels combined-------------------Besthotelbookingguide.com-------------------good luck!...............

Hilton Hawaiian Village!... its right next to the beach, it has water slides, and it has lots of pretty pools!... i stayed there on October!... Rainbow Tower!!!...=)... i miss it!... =/...

WHAT TO DO IN HAWAII? -

I would love to go to Hawaii, but I was wondering if you dislike the beach and tours what fun things are there to do on the islands. And what is the best way to go from island to island.Anyone who has been there, or live there Please HELP :)Thanks in advance!!!!!!

I will warn you of one place not to go, Kauai Hanali Bay, the life guards are total a--holes. But there is something to do everywhere. Every island has great scuba, snorkeling, whale watching, dinner cruising, great night life, great bars. The islands I recommend are Oahu, stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort on Waikiki beach. You do not have to rent a car to go there, take a taxi and get his cell number. He will pick you up and drop you off anytime any where you want. Go to the top of Diamond head, snorkel at Hanoma bay, see the International market place, see the Aloha Center downtown business center, go to Pearl Harbor. You can get activity info at any tourist center, they will have pamphlets for that. There is also activity booths where you can discount packages too. Go to Maui, stay in Lahina at a condo. Drive to the top of Mauna Kea (I think that is the name) take the road to Hana, see the winery when you come back. There are great restaurants and touristy things to do in Lahina. Go to Kauaii, stay at a rental house, there are many great restaurants and local bars to hang out at. See the Wimaia (sp) valley, it looks like the grand canyon, but its fun to go there. Take a snorkel trip, do a zip line adventure. You can see the old whaling village, it only takes about 50 min to go from one side of the island to the other. Always take in the touristy shops, and bring or buy a big suite case to haul your stuff back in. Get as much Kona coffee, and Macadamia nuts as you can. On all the islands you can get Fire rock beer, it is a great micro brew from the islands. I would give you more, but that would keep you going for two weeks at least. It only costs about $50 for inter island flights, so just do that. Have fun and Aloha.

Learn to dance, go to a luau, eat, explore the forests (with a group of course), rock climb, traverse and learn about the volcanos, scuba dive, and have an overall amazing time! :)

Eat. I m sure they have some good exotic foods, and probably some good restaurants. That s my thing, whenever I go to a new place, I gotta check out the eats.
