Where is the cheapest parking garage near Palace Hotel in Union Square, San Francisco? They will charge $52!? -

I booked at the hotel called Palace Hotel near Union Square, San Francisco without knowing that they will charge $52 per night for parking a car at the hotel. That is crazy, so I am looking for help!Does anyone know a good place to park a car???

Parking at any downtown hotel is expensive which is why I usually recommend that visitors not bring a car if possible. Keep in mind that the the hotel will usually offer in out privileges so depending on how long you park at any destination you may end up paying at least as much as you would pay at your hotel. There are a couple of public parking garages in the south of market area that will run you between $25-35 for 24 hours The two that are closest to the Palace hotel are on third between Howard and Folsom across from Moscone Center or at 5th and Mission. You may also be able to find over night parking for $15 at some of the lots south of market.

It is a few blocks to walk but parking at the 5th MIssion garage is about $15 a day.

How to avoid Thanksgiving traffic when traveling from Richmond VA to Fairfax VA? -

I am going up to Fairfax tomorrow from downtown Richmond VA and I was wondering if anyone who has made the commute a lot knows any tips on how to avoid insane traffic. I try to avoid Northern VA at all costs typically.

If you re going in the middle of Thanksgiving Day, I don t think it would be that bad because lots of people will be with their families and not commuting then. When you go back home, make sure not to go on Sunday late afternoon/evening - it s absolutely awful. Go earlier in the day or very late at night if you need to go on Sun.

Does laxcarrentallosangeles.com have free pick up other than LAX? -

They have picked me up from LAX couple of times before, but do they have free pick up other than there?

Apparently, LAX does so why go anywhere else?
