Where are fun places to go in the US? -

Europe is too expensive with the dollar so low where in the US are fun places to vacation in summer.

On the serious side, just about anywhere in the US can be really fun and beautiful. Nolans idea about the Grand Canyon and the southern Utah national parks was a great idea. I would recommend the north rim of the Grand Canyon and then all 5 of the Utah parks. Where can I buy authentic indian arrowheads in Denver area of Colorado? -

Take the drive down to Pueblo on I-25.The plains around there are abundant in genuine arrow heads, to the extent there is no room for the fakes in the shops in Pueblo. Either head out to the plains (with permission of the land owner) and find your own, or visit the many smaller stores to find them for sale. Try also the antique shops in the smaller towns along the way.Tip: avoid tourist areas if you want the genuine article.

Check with some antique shops. Sometimes they have framed arrowhead collections. Also a rock collecting shop might have some non-reproductions.

Best spots for New Years in Honolulu? -

My bros and I are going to hit Honolulu for New Years. We ve done it before and hit the Dave and Busters which was nice because we could kind of see the fireworks from the roof. Whats the more walkable city san francisco or new york? -

as in you are able to get more of see more of out of the walk.

San Francisco - but it s a harder walk because of all the hills. But you can see more in a smaller space in SF. Both places are great for walking though!

Even though San Francisco is hilly, this is an advantage for seeing things, because there are times when you are higher up and have a good vantage point. It s also a lot more compact than New York, plus there are less times when the weather might prevent you from walking outside comfortably. In New York, you are on flat terrain and amid giant buildings. So, you really only get to see what s at the bottom floors of the buildings as you walk down the street (unless you want to be all touristy and walk around staring into the sky - and still you re just looking up the sides of huge buildings).

Best state/city to live in for me? -

I love the hot weather. I hate the snow. I would like a country type feel with beaches. Also, a really good night life/clubs is a must have. Please leave your answers to what would be the best city/state for me to live in based on my likes. Thanks.

Come on down to Wilmington, NCIt hardly ever snows here. There are some rural areas North and West of Wilmington. As far as nightlife goes, there are some restaurants and a few small clubs in Wilmington that cater to college students who go to UNCW(The biggest college in Wilmington) There are lots of restaurants, lots of plants(an annual azalea festival as well)Well lots of plants can be a problem in the spring if you are allergic to Pollen. Our cars turn yellow in the Spring guarenteed.It s pretty coastal here with lots of fishing and boating. Great beaches that are visited by locals, Raleighites, Charlotteans in the hot summers.The only problem I would say is also Florida s problem. If you don t like Hurricanes or Storms. They can happen here on occasion.Otherwise, I think you would really like this area.I d also like to mention that Myrtle Beach is about 75 miles SW of here. That s an even better nightlife hot spot with similar weather to Wilmington.

Florida would be a perfect fit for yousnow is rare in the northern part of the state and almost nonexistant in the southThere is a party scene in many coastal communities in the state, and many of these party towns are also in rural areas, though, many are in the northern or central part of the state (higher chance of snow the further north you get, but it is still rare )

for a country type feel you may prefer Virginia over florida--you ll get nightlife at virginia beach and more than your share of beaches

The Application Guidelines for Walt Disney World state that most roles require that I be at least 18 years of age .So; it does say most and not all. My suggestion would be to contact Walt Disney World Casting directly: either call or attend one of their job fairs, to get a definite answer. It might be possible to hire on as a seasonal temporary employee (work winter break, spring break, and summer) in some of the positions before you turn 18. However; try to keep in mind that because the job market is so competitive right now, it is difficult for anyone to find a job, so your chances of being hired on prior to being 18 are far less than a few years ago.

You will need to an absolutely outstanding job applicant. There are a lot of people applying for jobs right now. And an employer hiring a minor ,anyone under the age of 18, has a lot of employment work laws they have to obey. So you will need to prove that you would be a better hire than a person over 18 that has no employment laws to work around.The under 18 laws include not working after specific hours, not working more than a specific amount hours in a day,and a minor can only work a couple of hours before they must take a break.

I am pretty sure you can. You could be a character, the person who helps people in line, someone who sells food, etc. I know some girls who worked there in the summer while they were in high school. Good luck.

Tonights Meteor Shower, Sothern CA Lookout Points? -

Hi- So we want to watch the meteor shower tinight (11/16/09) and we live in Santa Monica CA. We were wondering if anyone had suggestions as to a good spot to watch from would be? We can.t make it out to Joshua Tree, and most of the beaches close at 10. Any ideas would be great.Thanks All!!

Honestly I wouldn t be wandering around the Santa Monica area after mid-night...But if you insist, check the south eastern horizon 12 to 5 am.....at the darkest place you can get to...

The problem with the whole LA metro area is the light pollution. Even if you re able to get a campsite at Leo Carrillo State Beach or down at Doheny State Beach, you re still close to the LA metro area. We always tell people to get out to the desert for the best viewing. But if you can t, then try the beaches mentioned above, or go further north to McGrath, Carpinteria, El Capitan, or Refugio State Beach. You can get a campsite and stay all night. Lake Cachuma in Santa Barbara County should be OK, too.
