Where are some areas with a reasonable price range in New York? -

me and my best friend are planning on moving to new york in the nxt year, and i just want to know where we shoudl start looking for apartments- we definitely dont want to live in manhattan, but maybe somewhere in the other borroughs??

There are some reasonable places in Brooklyn. I d check in Bensonhurst or Gravesend. Both have subway lines serving them. Bensonhurst has markets under the D train el that has very reasonable prices too.Staten Island is expensive and even if you find something reasonable, it s either an expensive Express Bus to the City or a long ride by bus and train, or bus, ferry and train to get to the City.

Not queens. My friends live there and even though the apartments are nice, the rooms are extremely small. If you put a queen-sized bed, that s one. Nothing else can go in and there is little space to move around. Also, the prices seem unreasonable for such small rooms. Queens however is a nice city in general. The Bronx has good prices for apartments. And the rooms are pretty good in size too. Just pick a good, clean neighborhood to stay in. I don t know about Brooklyn or Staten Island.

How much money for 1 week holiday in Chicago? -

Hi im going to chicago in february for one week. How much money should i bring. bearing in mind i thought 1,400 $ would be good because it is 200 $ per day. I also want to spend 500 $ on Abercrombie :S typical european and 300 $ on fishing stuff. I have paid for the flight and hotel etc. I only need food museums and shopping.Ps im 12-Matthew

If everything else is paid for, $1500 US should be good.

You ll be fine. You re bringing more than enough.
