Is it gonna snow in houston? -

Well i heard it might snow in texas houston on friday if it rains is it true??

If the favorable conditions all come together at the right time on Friday, then it will be snowing. Iftemperatures are above 32 degees, then the snow will melt sometime after it hits the ground.

Owner of question...cookingp isnt the good answer really x_x Report Abuse

There is a chance, if the weather conditions are right, to have snow. There is a 40% chance of showers on Friday, and overnight temps will be in the 20s, so we COULD have flurries in the area late Friday afternoon or early evening. It all depends on whether the rainmaker sticks around and temp/humidity/wind conditions are favorable.Note, it can snow when temperatures are above 32F. The dependent factor is the air temperature in the clouds.

im pretty sure it is!! houston is gona be under a winter storm watch from friday morning to friday evening, with rain in the morning, a mix of rain and snow later, and then SNOW!!! :D im so excited!! i checked local 2 s site and wunderground.comthe chance of precipitation went from 50% (yesterday) to 70%! so it ll definitely be wet but it will most likely snow tomorrow. like others have said, it won t be a shuge storm, but we will at least get to see snow[: were you able to see it last year? it was so little compared to 2004 s snow. i really really hope it snows tomorrow, and a lot :Di hope i helped!

YES!!!!! It is supposed to snow tomorrow!http://www.weather.com/weather/wxdetail/

It s not going to be heavy snow, but it is expected to snow in the Houston area this weekend, specifically on Friday. I m excited!

yes it s going to snow very likely in friday afternoon.i don t understand either why people thumb other people down when all they say is stating the truth or just expressing their own opinion.

We might get some flakes but not pellet like snow you get up north :(

Yes, it is true. It s not going to be heavy snow like you find in the north, but It will snow on friday.:) Fun huh? I m excited!

I ll tell you on friday ;) but yeah it MIGHT snow or at least that s what the forecast said. But it s not going to snow like in other northern parts.

Meteorologists are saying that there is a chance of snow Friday night!

The weather guys say Friday; I HOPE SO!!!!

i think! i live in baton rouge and they say the same thing!

I want to bring my parrot from Panama (republic) to Florida? -

I own a parrot in my native country Panama. Recently I moved to the US and I miss him so much. What;s the procedure to bring it to the US?

I believe its expensive, probably several hundred dollars, and that is assuming its not a protected species. Also, it will have to spend a few weeks at least in quarantine.

Best Neighborhood to Live in San Francisco? -

Hey,I m moving within the next few months to SF and will be studying at the USF. I would like to live in the best place to have easy access to USF and to experience the city. Any help would be great!

Best neighborhood for being close to USF and having easy access to the whole city would be Cole Valley (and the bordering Upper Haight, but Cole Valley specificially). The 43 bus will take you right to the campus... or, if you d prefer, it s only about a 10-15 minute walk (depending on what part of Cole Valley/what part of the campus). Likewise, not only would you be close to several bus lines, but right off the N Judah train line, which will get you around to other areas (including downtown) way faster than a bus. Otherwise, the Richmond (particularly Inner Richmond) would be good, especially between Fulton (south) and Geary (north), where you re never more than a block from a bus line taking you right to the campus. Likewise, those same bus lines will take you downtown (and connect to trains). Still, not as versatile and convenient as living off a train line. Also, while the neighborhood is my personal favorite, many people in SF (especially transplants, it seems) find it dull and boring (though I d say they re full of crap, but, still...). Cole Valley is more appealing to most. Also, USF is technically in the Richmond (eastern border), and the Richmond continues immediately west of USF, NOT north/south as someone else said (just for reference on a map). North Panhandle is also nice and convenient to school, but has the same issues as the Richmond in terms of transportation (no train line).

Inner Richmond, Panhandle, Haight-Ashbury, sunset is further but cheaper.

richmond district. usf is more or less just north of richmond, pretty safe, easy access to all parts of the city

Yes, richmond or sunset will be better for you and cheaper.

haha im going to USF too but not until fall 2010!

If in Chicago, Illinois, describe the atmospheric conditions over a 48....? -

If in Chicago, Illinois, describe the atmospheric conditions over a 48hour period in which a thunderstorm occurred in the 24th hour. Whatwere the atmospheric conditions like in the 24 hours before, during, and after the storm? Consider all the main types of weather variable aswell as air masses.

This looks much more like a homework question from high school or collage then it does a normal question. If this really is a normal question then you should try the archives from www.weather.com or www.weatherunderground.com (www.wunderground.com). I feel sure that they will have to information that you need.

Try asking in the Weather section of the Science Mathematics category.

Hi, what type of clothing should i pack for Grand Canyon amp; Yosemite during late Dec? Thanks!? -

Of course you need to dress in layers and you need to be prepared for very cold ,very windy , very snowy and very sunny when it isn t snowingBtw Current Grand Canyon AZ 86023 weatherH 32F L 5F and sunny

Layered and very warm with a good heavy coat. The Canyon is in winter in AZ and UT, so you might be warm in day but once you are in the shade or at night it will be very cold.

Think cold. remember the Grand Canyon rims are 7000 and 8000 feet above sea level. Yosemite, in the valley is 4000 feet and other accessible areas range up to over 8000. Cold.

In addition to the layers that other people suggested, bring boots, sunscreen, and either sunglasses or a hat.
