Can I fly from John Wayne to LAX? -

Chuckles is correct. There is NO scheduled flights between John Wayne (SNA) and LAX. It s only 40 miles. Occasionally airlines will move planes between the two airports just to position them for the next days business.

There have at times been flights that go from SNA to LAX to pick up more people and go onwards from LAX. I know United used to have one. Though this was a side effect of an aircraft repositioning that was needed. I am unsure if it is available now.How about entering it into expedia.com and see if any flights show up?But really, if you consider the time it takes to fly out of the pattern at SNA and the time it takes to land, going through the LAX pattern, little time is save.

Approximate Cab fare from JW to LAX is $140.36. It s less than an hours drive and only 41 miles. Use that as a gage to see if it s cheaper to fly, rent a helicopter, rent a car or hire a limo.

A commercial plane wouldn t even have enough time to get high enough before it would have to come back down. Just take a shuttle. It s only an hour and a half drive from one to the other. Less if traffic is good.

No, you can t. However, you can take a Flyaway shuttle directly from LAX to Irvine for $25.

I don t think there is scheduled commercial air service from SNA to LAX.

They might have a helicopter ??? You could rent one ????

no because john wayne is not an airport it s a dead man.. what a waste of 5 points.. PEOPLE ??????

Not a big coaster fan AT ALL! but might be going to Universal studios in Orlando? -

I hate roller coasters but I can handle little rides lol. Tried one at Disney which was Thunder Mountain and I never plan to go back on it. I want to go to Universal Studios to check it out but if it s completely just coasters and that s it then I don t want to waste my money. So are there other rides that are not coasters at all that I could ride or no?

I really don t know where people get the idea that Universal Orlando is mostly coasters. There are only 4 big coasters in the 2 parks: Revenge of The Mummy, Hulk, DD Ice, DD Fire. There are 2 kiddie coasters that are comparable to Goofy s Barnstormer at MK: Flying Unicorn (which is closed now and is being re themed for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter) and Woody Woodpecker.ETA:Below is the list of attractions in IOA. Out of 23 rides, only 3 are big coasters. How does 3/23 =mostly? I would do the same thing for USO, but you get my point. USO only has one big coaster. The Amazing Adventures of Spider-ManDoctor Doom s Fearfall Storm Force AccelatronIncredible Hulk Coaster- COASTERDudley Do-Right s Ripsaw FallsPopeye Bluto s Bilge-Rat BargesMat Hoffman s Crazy Freakin Stunt ShowMe Ship, The OliveJurassic Park Discovery CenterJurassic Park River AdventureCamp JurassicPteranodon FlyersThe Mystic FountainThe Eighth Voyage of SindbadDueling Dragons- 2 COASTERSThe Flying Unicorn- kiddie coasterIf I Ran The ZooCaro-Seuss-ElHigh in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train RideThe Cat In The HatOne Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue FishGo ahead and give me thumbs down for telling the truth. 3/23 does not equal mostly ETA: USO does have 2 big coasters. I forgot that Rip Ride Rock-it recently opened. However even my coaster hating husband loves revenge of the mummy.

There are only 2 rides/rollercoaster which you would not want to do at Universal Studios (Revenge of The Mummy and Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit). MIB is a mild ride where you zap aliens with a laser gun, great fun, take a boat ride around Amity on the Jaws ride, gentle ride on a suspended cycle through dark woods in ET and at Disaster you can become a star in the movie! The new Simpsons Ride is a simulated coaster ride which projects the images onto huge IMAX screens, to immerse you into the cartoon action. I loved it but can make you feel a bit motion sick. There are lots of shows with special effects like Terminator and Shrek which are amazing. I wouldn t go to Orlando without a few trips to Universal Studios, definitely one of my favorite parks in Orlando.Have fun

Universal by no means is an exclusively coaster park. There are still quite a few entertaining attractions that offer mild thrills. If even Big Thunder Mountain scared you, the rides to avoid would be: Hulk, Dueling Dragons, Rip Ride RockIt Coaster, and The Mummy. Attractions like Spiderman, Men in Black, and Jaws all offer milder thrills. I would suggest doing lots of online research before you come and maybe even watching YouTube videos of the rides.

Universal studios is shows mainly. Islands of Adventure which is their sister park is mainly roller coasters and water rides. If Thunder Mountain freaked you out, skip IOA. You could check out tripadvisor.com a free site, type Orlando in the search box and find the travel forum there for more info on Uni and WDW.

lol get used to coasters ride them again and again and again untill your de sensitized i used too be afraid of them until my 7 year old cousin went on the hulk so now i yawn on big thunder mountain but anyway back to your question i havnt been to universal in a good 6 years but i remember mainly coasters but a few things that werent like i think they had a 4d moviie n stuff

theres lots of stuff to do thereshoppingclubsshowsrestaurantstheres not that many rollar coasters but there are some

What is most Fun place to visit in Sacramento CA? -

rides, foods, etc?

As you may have noticed from the first answer give, all of the best things about Sacramento, take place 1 or more hours away! haha. I grew up 50 minutes from Sac and lived there pretty much my whole life. I absolutely love the area, but Sacramento, well... it sucks. haha. In fact, so much so, I never used Sacramento as a way of describing the general area in which I lived because it s so unrepresentative of much of it s surroundings in the foothills. Sacramento is a big city that is extremely spread out. Most of the buildings are from like the 50 s and on and have no character. The actual downtown part is nice, but there is little reason to go there and it s very small. Old Town Sac is also pretty cool, but it s extremely touristy. If you can, I definitely recommend driving a couple of hours and going somewhere else for a day or so. Of course it depends on what you re looking for. If you re looking for nightlife, I d just drive to SF.If you re looking for shopping, then you don t have to go too far. There are several malls, but I d recommend driving up to Roseville and going to the Galleria. It s only 10-15 minutes north/east and has a lot of stores. Not to mention the general area around the mall has a lot of plaza s and higher end stores. It s also newer, so it s clean and there are a lot of restaurants in a small area.If you re active, definitely go to Tahoe. There are about 15 different downhill resorts around the lake and the surrounding area, most of which are actually good, each for their own reasons. And there are a few cross country places as well, but I ve never been into cross country so I m not familiar with them. Not to mention, Lake Tahoe is beautiful and something to be seen if you haven t seen it.If you re into seeing small old towns, there are quite a few. And by old towns, I mean old western towns. Most of them are pretty touristy of course. As the first person mentioned, if you want rides, you re going to have to head to the bay area for Great America or Six Flags. Though I m not sure about when they are open this time of the year. There are so many great things to do in Northern California, and so many beautiful places to see. But Sacramento isn t really one of them.

This time of year Sacramento can get kind of dull. The weather is not very conducive for outdoor type activities. Unless of course you are into winter sports. Then in that case some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the world is less than two hours away.In the spring and summer things start to heat up, in more ways than one.A popular activity is to raft down the American River. It is great fun and they have been working hard the last few years to make it a more family friendly activity. If rides are your thing Discovery Kingdom down in Vallejo is a Six Flags property and is best enjoyed in warmer weather. They have animals and rides. Also Paramount s Great America is in Santa Clara a two hour or so drive good rides there.Another activity I and many of my friends enjoy are the fairs, there are many county fairs within in an hour or less drive from Sacramento, and you get it all there rides and great fair food.If you have not burned out on fairs by the end of summer, then the last three weeks of August is the California State Fair. It is huge. The biggest midway west of the Mississippi.Have fun

Old Sac is great fun. There is even a hotel in it!!

My husband and I went to the Old Sac area. It s like an old western boardwalk. We had a blast.

What is the age limit at club escapade 2000 austin texas? -

i am 15 years old and my uncle wants to take me and my friends to escapade how many minors to one adult?

In Austin it doesn t matter if you are with your uncle or your parents, as you are a minor and will not be allowed into any club that serves alcohol. Furthermore, your uncle shouldn t even think about taking you there because it is not a safe environment - a man was shot and killed there recently.Happy Holidays!

Question about the airport in Seattle, WA? -

Hi i m heading over to pullman for thanksgiving and I need a bit of help. I m taking a flight to Seattle by plane and then taking the greyhound bus to pullman. I have the tickets and everything but i don t know how far the greyhound station is from the airport. Also I dont know if they provide a free shuttle that takes people to the station. Thanks in advance.

Don t know about a free shuttle, but a Seattle Metro bus (very cheap) will take you right from the airport to the Greyhound Bus Station at 811 Stewart Street.Take the MT (Metro Transit) Bus number 194 to the Convention Center and Tunnel Station A. Then, walk less than 1/4 mile west to the bus station by:Walk a short distance SW on Convention Place Acrd. Turn left on Pedestrian Stai. Walk a short distance SW on a significant grade on Pedestrian Stai. Turn right on 9th Ave. Walk a short distance NW on 9th Ave. Bear left on Olive Way. Walk a short distance SW on Olive Way. Turn right on 8th Ave. Walk approx. 1 block NW on 8th Ave. Total walking is 0.25 miles.

They do have a free shuttle.

Whats the best way to get from New Jersey to Vermont? -

I m looking for the cheapest way to get to vermont, but i can t afford a plane ticket, so i need to find another way. I can drive but i d like to avoid the 6 hour drive. any answers are appreciated! trying to get up to the University of Vermont to visit my best friend for her birthday !

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
