What cities/towns in texas would be considered quot;out in the countryquot;? -

just curious : ) would castroville be one?

Pretty much anything beyond an hour out of Dallas headed west is out in the country.

Well looking at my map Houston is near the coast but everywhere else seems to be in the country. Are you a genuine cowgirl?I live in UK but I have a large world map on my wall.Anyway Miss Texas GalMerry Christmas to you!

What rides in Orlando have a G-Force? -

My uncle has a brain aneurysm and we are going to Orlando and I just want to find out what rides he can and can t go on besides the obvious ones like Hulk, Duelling Dragons etc. Is there a G Force on Tower of Terror, Space Mountain etc? His doctor said he can t go on anything which will exert too much pressure on his head. Thanks for any answers I get - much appreciated!

If you look at the map of each of the park you will be doing Disney maps will show a triangle shape icon which indicate that persons riding should be in good health. Most of the rides with G Forces will have a WARNING sign before entering. If you are unsure ask a cast member

The absolute worst ride for him to go on would be Mission Space. It has G-Forces similar to the Space Shuttle. I don t know about Tower of Terror... I ve been on it. It basically goes up and down, several times. It goes faster than gravity when it goes down.Space Mountain could be really jerky. You may want to contact Walt Disney World to make sure. An aneurysm is very serious.(407) 939-6244 Take Care

Mission Space in EPCOT. Uggg it s horrible. I went on it and felt like crap the rest of the afternoon.I wouldn t chance going on ANY rollercoasters with an aneurysm! In fact, they probably forbid it.

To avoid a problem don t go with him to any of the rides that have drops and things like that.

Is There Really A Delorean Dealership In Houston Texas? -

it s in Humble and it s not exactly a dealership... http://delorean.com/

I have seen a TV show about the place. They restore Deloreans back to original showroom condition. It looked like they did a great job on the total restorations. I think the cars were also somewhat affordable if I remember correctly.

There was one once upon a time, maybe in the 80 s. I recall him Delorean having gone to prison for a time as well. Never had heard of his car till the jail thing came up.

Alex nailed it. It s a really interesting place to visit.

Help looking for area in Hawaii thats the most traditionally Hawaiian? -

by Hawaiian I mean native Hawaiian

Even before Captain Cook arrived in Hawaii, Molokai had a reputation of being more Hawaiian than the other islands. Hawaii was settled in waves of immigration from other Polynesian islands. When the Ali i ruled, the people of Molokai were known to be descended from the earlier waves of migration. Today, what keeps Molokai Hawaiian is a combination of that tradition, peculiarities of land tenure, a federal program to provide land for people with 50% Hawaiian ancestry or more, and activism that reflects traditional Hawaiian values. More than half the total population and 3/4 of the schoolkids have some Native Hawaiian ancestry. Molokai has no traffic lights. It has one elevator, in a hotel that closed down in response to community organization in opposition to development. Oahu has one outrigger canoe club for every 30,000 residents. Molokai has four outrigger canoe clubs, and it only has about 7000 people living there! The largest tourist attraction on Molokai is what they used to call a leper colony. A couple dozen Hansen s Disease patients still live in the place where Saint Damien (canonized last month) carried out his mission. It is getting more difficult to get to Molokai. The last passenger jet flew there in 2004. A couple of propeller planes still make that island hop, and I think a round trip ferryboat ride from Lahaina is still less than $100. You might want to wait until you get where you re going to eat. The air and the sea around Molokai can be rough. And, there s only one hotel. They might have more than one bed and breakfast by now--I hear the permitting process speeded up. You re much more likely to see people in T-shirts, shorts, and rubbah slippahs than you are to see them dressed for hula (except during one of the festivals). But there are plenty of people who can tell stories about their aumakua (ancestor guardian spirits who take the form of an animal) if they know you well enough.

Aloha - I am a huge fan of the Hawaiian culture, and while you will find a little of that on Oahu, for a true Hawaiian cultural area try the Big Island of Hawaii and/or Kauai. Both have a smaller population, less developed tourism and more small towns with great shops, farmers markets and more.
