Parking in the garage is free for anyone, not just hotel guests. You park it yourself. The garage is behind the hotel, connected with a tall, long walkway. You keep your keys if you self park. And there is an elevator. Yes, there are signs that say self parking. OR you can valet technically for free, and you hand them your keys. When you pick up the car you should tip the valet.
Here s a photo I shot from the roof of TI s parking garage in December 2007 http://www.urbanphotos.net/images/las_veEvery Las vegas Strip resort has a parking garage, anyone can use it, it doesn t cost anything, nobody bothers you (no security checkpoint (except at the Venetian) or having to show ID or a room key etc) and there are signs all over the place. When you drive up your two main options are SELF PARKING and VALET. You will follow the signs to SELF PARKING.Usually the 4th floor is casino level and the lower floors are the most crowded. A sign will point to the casino from the parking garage. You can take an elevator or stairs. All the parking is covered except for the top floor. Most parking garages are 7 stories high. Security guards ride around on bicycles and there are video cameras all over so your car won t get stolen or broken into.I ve gone to Las Vegas 18 times and rented cars there about 10 times, never had a problem with parking.
The Downtown branch of the Seattle Public Library has two electronic practice pianos. They can be booked one hour at a time. The University of Washington has practice pianos on the third floorof the Music Building on campus. The practice rooms have busytimes and they are actually for students use only. I would avoid using a practice room there during students busy study times.
There is also a piano available for public (appropriate) use at Evergreen hospital, in the lobby. There are guidelines for the use of the piano posted near the piano so make sure you can follow their rules before jumping in...
Your European license is valid in the United States if the friends you are visiting would let you borrow a car, but you are too young to rent/hire a car. Most companies require you to be at least 23. and some 25.To travel from Manhattan Beach to Oxnard (sounds like someone clearing their throat) there is a Metrolink commuter train that operates from L.A. Union Station to Oxnard. You can view the schedules at www.metrolinktrains.com . Click on Schedules then click Ventura County Line . Remember this is a commuter train that only operates certain times, and days. The fare is $12.00 each way. The LAST train leaves each direction roughly 6:15 pm (1815 hours). The website for the bus schedules to get you from Manhattan Beach to Union Station is playing games with me today. One source is www.socaltraonport.org . Maybe you ll have better luck with it. Sorry I couldn t help with that one..
you might want to check carpertina or oxnard beaches since they would be closerto what you want to and amtrak even has a stop at Carpinteria matthann beach and oxnard are about 30 miles apartnow depending on what day and time you want to leaveLADOT has their line 438 which will take you from Mannhattan beach toLos Angeles, say to 7th and Figeroura take to 1st or Temple)and then board the D dash bus to Union stationthen you can take amtrak to oxnardnote the 438 only runs in the AM to los angeles
Get to LAX.. They have a bus that runs a few times a day to the Ventura Airport called: Ventura County Airporter. Also there is Roadrunner Shuttle that goes there. I don t know the Ventura County Airporter s phone number, but Roadrunner is: 1-800-247-7919 Both leave from LAX and you do not have to be on an airplane to ride on them.
Go to LAX and get the Flyaway Bus to Union Station. From there take the Metrolink, Ventura County Line.
Train plane bus sub way or u can rent a car if u dont have one
train or do some research on the buses
If you actually land at 1 PM, you probably won t get to your hotel much before 3 PM anyway. Until you get off the plane and collect your luggage (which seems to take 30 - 45 minutes anymore). Then wait at the rental car counter or wait to hail a cab and finally the drive to the hotel. If however, you do get there before 3 PM, they would let you check in if they have a room available. If they don t, they would let you store your luggage with the bellman until your room is ready. After check-out time, again you can check your luggage with the bell man who will give you a claim check to pick it up when you re ready to leave for the airport. Or if you ll have a rental car, throw your luggage in the trunk and then you won t have to stop at the hotel on the way to the airport.
By the time you get your lugguage and make your way to the hotel, it will be close to 3. Unless you are checking on Jan 1 (day after New Years Eve) or some other super busy time. Most likely they will have a room ready. The hotel will be able to keep your luggage on the day you check out. Also, as long as you are checking out on a not super busy day, they most likely would allow you to keep the room until 6pm for about $60-$80.
With your flight arriving at 1, you will probably be getting to your hotel around 2:30 or so - it takes a while to wait for luggage and then get transportation, be it a shuttle, taxi, or rental car. They will likely have your room ready, and will let you check in if that s the case. We have always arrived at our hotel between 12-1 and have always been able to check right in. Nearly all hotels will keep your luggage for you if you need to check out before you re ready to actually leave. They typically store it in a locked room and give you a baggage check tag. You just come back and get it when you re ready to leave. Be sure to tip!
If your flight is on time, it still will take some time to go from the airport to the hotel, so you will arrive near the checkin time anyway. Most hotels will have some leeway on the checkin time of 1/2 hour or so, if you were to arrive about 2:30. Don t know if hotels offer a baggage hold area or not it may differ from one to another - you may just have to put your bags in the car trunk.....presuming that you are renting a car
You can check in but your room may not be ready but they will hold your luggage until it is ready. When we stayed at the Stratosphere last September our checkout time was 11.00am but our flight wasn t until 1.00pm,we rang the reception and they put us througth to the bell desk who kept our luggage until the airport shuttle arrived, they even took it outside for us.I think you ll find all hotels give this service but don t forget to tip.
The check in time is the earliest time to check in, you can check in after this. The check out time is the latest time for check out, you can check out before this. Most hotels have somewhere you can leave your luggage.Hope this helps.Have a great trip.
On arrival or when you check out you can requerst the bellman/concierge to hold your luggage.Check in when you arrive and some times they have a room ready. When you make the reservation request (not guaranteed) a room for early arrival.
If you arrange with the hotel, they pick you up and drop you of at the airport and you don t have to worry about check-in or check-out times. They will do worry for you.Peace.
Try the Rabbit Transit. It will take you from Timonium, MD to York. Pretty cheap and has several trips a day. To get to Timonium, try the Light Rail, which is very cheap and picks up near UMBC.
Have you tried going through Philadelphia (or another city in Pennsylvania)? You might have more luck with that.
OMG!!! I live in regular Buckeye, Arizona and would love to be in Verrado. The houses are beautiful. The apartments and lofts are great. There are big houses and little houses. They are not all cookie cutter types but some of them are very close. The developers have the styles spreadout well. The HS is very modern, or so I ve read. It s green!! They have the Raven Golf Course at Verrado, It is awesome. The views of the whole valley are unbeatable. If you buy any home over $300K it will be really nice. Over $600K it will be wonderful/ If you pay a higher price then it will be up to your imagination!! Bowling next to your Champagne fountain??
Go to Ellen s Stardust Diner! It s amazing the staff are practically broadway stars and they sing and dance throughout your whole dinner like a show! Totally worth checking it out.
You can take her shopping at the Macy s. You know, the biggest one with 7 floors! It s really fun to go shopping. Just make sure that you have the money and she isn t the one paying, otherwise, it would be like her buying herself a present
I believe it doesn t matter, the only reason why there are two different lines is to speed up the process, because US citizens/US Permanent Legal Residents pretty much just go through...Also, just because you hold a UK passport doesn t mean you have to separate because you could be a Legal Resident (green card) but anyway, whatever your legal situation may be, I believe you can go as a family together through the US Citizen/US legal residents line. CBP officers and their stations are equipped with the stamps and the fingerprint machines to handle both situations. I would suggest once you get off the airplane you ask a C.B.P. officer before you got through Immigration, so that you don t waste time in the wrong lineYou can always call USCIS National Customer Service Center (NCSC): 1-800-375-5283.
You could wait with your husband and son, it s all computerized.
It doesn t matter, you will be waited on any line .
A shuttle is probably you best bet that late at night. Try Super Shuttle I always find the reliable and a good value.
The taxi will cost you nearly $100. They charge by the mile and not the carload. And, by law, they can t put anyone else but your party in the cab unless you invite them to.On the other hand, shuttles run a lot cheaper, but they charge per person, and they can fill up their shuttle with other parties.. Call up some of the numbers you ve been given to get some price quotes. Taxi companies can t quote you an exact price because they run on meter, but shuttle services can give you an exact quote. Be sure to get the name of the person who gives you that quote.
