Question about parking at the TI? -

Is parking free for hotel guests at the TI? How long can you keep your car there? Is the parking structure covered? Can you self-park or do you have to allow a valet to park for you? How much do you tip the valet (parking 4 days)? Do you need to tip anyone if you self-park? Is it easy to locate where to park? Is it often crowded to line up for parking? When you arrive at the hotel, are there sings that lead you to the parking area or structure? Do you have to hand in your keys? Once you park, do you have to walk to the hotel, or do you take an elevator? Tell me anything you know.

Parking in the garage is free for anyone, not just hotel guests. You park it yourself. The garage is behind the hotel, connected with a tall, long walkway. You keep your keys if you self park. And there is an elevator. Yes, there are signs that say self parking. OR you can valet technically for free, and you hand them your keys. When you pick up the car you should tip the valet.

Here s a photo I shot from the roof of TI s parking garage in December 2007 http://www.urbanphotos.net/images/las_veEvery Las vegas Strip resort has a parking garage, anyone can use it, it doesn t cost anything, nobody bothers you (no security checkpoint (except at the Venetian) or having to show ID or a room key etc) and there are signs all over the place. When you drive up your two main options are SELF PARKING and VALET. You will follow the signs to SELF PARKING.Usually the 4th floor is casino level and the lower floors are the most crowded. A sign will point to the casino from the parking garage. You can take an elevator or stairs. All the parking is covered except for the top floor. Most parking garages are 7 stories high. Security guards ride around on bicycles and there are video cameras all over so your car won t get stolen or broken into.I ve gone to Las Vegas 18 times and rented cars there about 10 times, never had a problem with parking.
