Christmas in Arizona? -

I live in Michigan but am spending christmas in Pheonix Arizona. My family will then spend a day or two in Tuscan. What is the weather like during christmas in Pheonix? What sort of things should I do in arizona? (I m not going up north to the grand canyon). What are the best places to eat at? I m 15 and I have two sisters, 18 and 13. Thank you :)

Phoenix and Tucson are very different cities. (like 150 mi apart )Like the other said phoenix has many great attraction. There is the phoenix zoo which dresses up with lights there are many parks. Tempe town lake and mill ave. are always good if you like to walk around. In (very)east phoenix there is a desert botanical garden. And there is the mormon temple which has lights. There are lots of great places to eat in phoenixat any mall there are numerous restaurants. Oregeanos is a great pizza resturant. And serranos is good mexican food. If you are looking for steaks the Keg is great prime rib. The weather is very nice durring the winter. Tucson is a collage city it has the u of a it also has one of the last remaining cold war nuke which they turned into a museum. I don t know much about Tucson. its very different

How to live in New York City for high school? -

hey guys. i m a sophomore in high school and i so desperately want to finish my high school years at a school in new york city. my parents are definitely up for it if i can figure it out, but i asked my relatives over there if there s anything they can help me with but it s not going to work out. i would really like some ideas on how i can live on the upper east side for the rest of my high school experience. money and getting into a school are not problems.thank you!

LOL! Actually, getting into school IS going to be a problem (money probably is, too, but let s not go there.)I am both a NYC public school teacher and I have a daughter who is, right now, applying to high school. So I know a LOT about the high school admissions process. The truth is, the system is not set up for people to enter in 11th grade. Many of the best schools just don t take new admits in 11th grade. You can apply for 9th or 10th grade, but if you enter in 11th grade, you are stuck with the transfer schools, or the schools that have seats left (not usually the best schools, might I add.)

You wrote, money and getting into a school are not problems. Well, if that s true, then what s the problem? I mean, just come here, rent an apartment, either with your parents or have them sign the lease for you if they re not joining you here, and then have your parents register you in the school in that district and go there, case closed, no big deal at all really.Good luck!

Get an apartment on the UES, apply for high school. Simple, as long as your parents are willing to move with you.

Where is the vog on the Big Island of Hawaii? -

is it in kona?

When the volcano os overly active the vog can be everywhere on the island. Kona gets it pretty bad. If there are no winds for a while the vog is even really bad on Oahu which is over 200 miles away. The vog causes a lot of health problems, and can really ruin a day.
