I second ms bells situation- theres snow on the roads, but I just drove them and they arent bad enough for a snow day sorry to say. Guess youll have to play hookie or grin and bear it. I dont want to go to work tomorrow, but I dont have a choice!! Its part of becoming an adult.

I live in Chicagoland and there isn t going to be a snow day tomorrow. It s going to be windy and cold so dress warm. You ll eventually get a snow day or days sometime this winter.

Where can i get an off the books job in los angeles? -

i know i know lemme guess get a real jpb pay income tax blah blah blah i need to show less income in order to get financial aid so then i can goto college. Im not a hoodloom just trien to cut a corner to go back to college.so dont waste ur time with the pay taxes **** and illegal ****. so neways im moving to LA to goto shcool, what kind of jobs pay cash? where do you look?

Wow! With such poor grammar, and misspelling I just don t see college in you future. Even colleges have some standards.

Employers who pay under the table, often don t pay. They ll have the money next week, they ll pay the full amount later, blah blah blah. And you re not going to report them because you re breaking the law. Chances are these are people that the employee knows, friends of friends. So good luck even finding something if you don t know anyone. CA is super strict about taxes and will go door to door to small businesses to count employees at small businesses. At the kind of jobs you re looking at, you re not really going to be paying much at all in taxes, maybe nothing, anyway. Do the math.

Wow, how many times are you going to ask this? And how many times do we have to tell you there aren t jobs here? There s no sign anywhere that says Under-the-table Jobs HERE . I don t get why you waste our time with these questions here. Most people here are hard-working, honest people. So asking us to support your illegal activities is rather poor form.If you want an off the books job, you stand out in front of Home Depot with all the amigos who are trying to get work. That s how it s done here.

Go to a Home Depot store and join the Hispanic looking men standing around outside. However, likely no one will hire you for day labor as the Hispanic men have a reputaion of being very hard workers that don t complain.

Lots of postings on Craigslist under Gigs or ETC are off the books.

What is the best way to travel from San Diego to San Francisco ? -

Is it possible to travel from San diego to San Francisco by train? If, yes is it the best way? And how much time does it take? Thx a lot

The train will take 14 hours. It is called the Coast Starlight (Amtrak) and it goes once a day. Another option is to take the train to Los Angeles (this train, the Pacific Surfliner, goes every hour) and then a shuttle (cashuttlebus.com) to SF.

hey buddy! yes its possible to use a train, it will probably take about 4-5 hrs by train, unless it stops to pick up other passengers on the way. I actually drove from san diego to san francisco once, it took almost 9 hrs, I stopped a few times to eat, it as actually quite lovely by the way. San fran is beautiful, its so different, however there are alot of cloudy days but its still a beautiful city, the atmosphere is amazing, hope this helps!

Actually the train takes about 14 hours and it goes to Oakland. Then they bus you into San Francisco.Go to amtrak.com for more information. This is a very secnic way. But if you want fast, you go Southwest Airlines.

If you book 14 days in advance, you can get great rates from http://wwwsouthwest.com. It s faster and cheaper to fly than to take the train.

Does anyone know where I can buy a husky puppy around the Houston, TX area for around $350 or less? -

I m asking for help to find a husky not to be lectured on how to take care of one( saying this because I saw a question on someone asking for help to find one and all he/she got were lectures). I have researched many things about the Husky and I know how I m going to deal with the Husky when there is hot weather too. I know he is a large breed, that then need a ton of exercise and that s no problem for me. Not going to say anymore but I ve been to so many sites on huskies that I can t even keep count (I m serious)

Don t go looking for the cheapest puppy, because you re likely to get an unhealthy or poorly-bred animal from a puppy mill or backyard breeder. Paying less money up front is going to mean paying more down the road for vet bills. Avoid pet shops altogether because those are the kind of breeders that pet shops deal with. The first thing I would do if you really want a purebred is to look for a breed rescue. These are outfits that rehome purebred dogs who would otherwise end up in a pound or put to sleep, or who were seized from neglectful/abusive homes. There are young dogs and pups available as well as older dogs. The links below are to Siberian Husky rescues in Houston and Dallas respectively. The second thing is to look for a responsible breeder who is devoted to raising animals well and improving the breed, not just making a buck off a b*tch squirting out puppies. The best way to find a good breeder is probably to contact a kennel club or breed club in your area and ask who they recommend and trust.

The Houston Chronicle usually has several breeders in their classified ads on the weekend. Huskies are awesome dogs!

check The Greensheet

you go to the sheltersthey havge them but not papers.

What is there to do in Lake Tahoe around March? -

We are going on our honeymoon to Lake Tahoe in March and we dont ski or snowboard so I was wondering if there is anything else to do there and if there are really good restaurants?

Yes there quite a few things to do in the area it is a wonderful area to explore. If you love older tv shows stop by the ponderosa ranch (Bonanza TV show) as well as casinos in Nevada. Here is the Wiki Page with more info about Lake Tahoe region.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Tahoe

There are some great restaurants in and around Lake Tahoe, mostly on the west and north shore. On the west shore, West Shore Cafe is on the water and has a great view and food. It s pricey, but it s really good. Sunnyside is a great spot for Sunday brunch or a nice lunch. Closer to Tahoe City, Wolfdales is really nice and Wild Goose is good too. The best steakhouse around is the Old Range steakhouse in Tahoe Vista. For cheaper eats near Lake Tahoe, you can go to the quaint town of Truckee - do some window shopping. The Pacific Crest Grill and Bar of America has really good food. Also, Moody s in Truckee is a really great spot too!Aside from those choices, there are also great restaurants in Olympic Village at Squaw Valley like Plumpjacks. There s a great Irish Pub there too which serves good pub food.Congratulations - let me know if you have any other questions!
