I am youth leader in my church and i want to take a group of 50 to maybe even 100 youth from chicago to do something fun. I want to do something original with them but i just ran out of ideas... PLEASE HELP... its ok if the place is in a suburb near chicago....

Chicago is home to many museums and 2 zoos. They are open in all seasons. In late Spring or Summer a trip to Great America would be fun:http://egov.cityofchicago.org/city/webpohttp://www.czs.org/czs/Brookfield/Zoo-Hohttp://www.sixflags.com/greatAmerica/ind

Indoor waterpark, or rent a nearby pool.

Does anyone know of any small towns? -

I would like to move to a small town. Something like the town in the Vampire Diaries or Twilight. Small, and I would like to go to a public high school. Anyone know of any?

There are thousands of great small towns in the US. Here are the highest rated according to CNN:1. Louisville, CO2. Chanhassen, MN3. Papillion, NE4. Middleton, WI5. Milton, MA6. Warren, NJ7. Keller, TX8. Peachtree City, GA9. Lake St. Louis, MO10. Mukilteo, WAYou can find detailed info on the schools and jobs for each at http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/

you would love lake wylie sc it is so woodsy and peaceful and has a big beautiful lake or clover right beside lake wylie it reminds me of forks in twilight so much u would really like it its population 3,061 and clover has 4,015 and is very country i love it

i live in a small town in madison (nj) and the school is one of the bigger schools in the county though, but has 2 towns. it has maybe 700 kids.

Downingtown, Pennsylvania? i heard they have a good football team and stuff.....it depends on where you want to move.....like what state???

What are some good hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada? -

The Wynn is the most prestige hotel on the strip, but it is really expensive to rent a room there. However, if you have the money, it is totally worth it.If you want a cheaper quality hotel, I d say either The Excalibur or Mandalay Bay

It s hard to give a good answer, without knowing information like how much you want to pay. Some really nice, high-class, and expensive hotels include Wynn/Encore, Venetian/Palazzo, and Bellagio. Caesars ranks nearly up there with those hotels, but tends to be less expensive. It s very nice as well though. Some nice mid-range places include Mirage, MGM, NYNY, Treasure Island, and Mandalay Bay.Some good budget to low-mid-range places would be Harrah s, Bally s, Flamingo, Luxor, and Excalbur. All of those are nice places. I would avoid Stratosphere, Circus Circus, Sahara, and Riviera. Imperial Palace has a great location on the strip, but it s really not that nice of a place. It s clean enough, but old and run-down. Great rates though, and an awesome location.

The best hotels in Las Vegas are the large resorts on the Strip. Wynn, Encore, Bellagio, Palazzo, Venetian, and Mandalay Bay are typically rated well.

we always stay at the wynn and its superb !!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 we had one night at the trump hotel which was very dull, no atmosphre and one night in the palzzo - it was ok, room was good. we had a parlour suite in the wynn for 6 nights and it was amazing !!!!

Harrahs, Flamingo Ballys are nice, reasonable right in the middle of the strip

For sure. All the hotels on Strip are good. Best price recently was Excalibur

What is the best neighborhood to live in Sacramento? -

Planning to move in a year. It will be a transitional from San Francisco. Good for families, low crime rates, affordable housing, near or 10 minutes driving of a mall perferred.Which neighborhood do you live in? Why do you like and why don t you like it?Are there easy accessible transportation such as city buses? What do you do for fun??Thank you!

It really depends on what you are looking for.Do you want a suburban type lifestyle, with cookie cutter houses? If that is what you are looking for then North Natomas, or Roseville or Rocklin is you answer.Do you want a more urban lifestyle? Then midtown Sacramento is you answer. Yep the alphabet streets, there is nothing wrong with that area, especially if your coming from San Francisco.I live in Southwest Natomas, two blocks away from the Sacramento River. It is an apartment complex and there is nothing about it here I do not like. In fact the management is putting on the annual Christmas party tonight. Free food, drink, door prizes, what is there not to like. I live near the junction of I-5 and I-80, downtown is a five minute drive, and a major bus line stops right outside my apartment. I like the fact that there is a 6 high between me and the bus stop, I do have a gate key.Take a day trip and take a look around, Sacramento is not the cow town people make it out to be.

Do you want to be in Sacramento, not Sacramento area? and 10 minutes from the mall...? If so, I would go with the Land Park area. It is nice older affordable homes. Regional Transit, city bus and light rail available. You can do anything you want for fun that is legal. What is your hobby or sport? We have it here. I live in the Sacramento Area, actually Placer County, not in Sacramento. A great little community.

Elk Grove. Little traffic, places to shop, there aren t really any bad neighborhoods or any places with any crimes, and it s a really nice place. I live in Elk Grove. All the other places listed, i ve been to, the only one that is ok is maybe roseville, but there is a TON off traffic there. The nearest mall is probably like 20 minutes away but there building one currently that s maybe a 3 minute drive. But even with it not built there is still tons of fun awesome shopping with out it.The only downside to Elk Grove.... No honestly i really can t think of any reason not to live there.I would say the best is definitely ELK GROVE.

Hello, I moved to Elk Grove (Just south of Sacramento) from San Jose, CA. Anywhere up here is a big difference in what you pay compared to what it costs to live in the Bay Area. However, after being here a few years, I have found that most of Sacramento itself is pretty ghetto and the ghetto people like to come to Elk Grove to commit their crimes when they get bored. Unfortunately my husband and I do not make enough to upgrade but I would definitely recommend areas such as Roseville, Folsom, and the Southern most parts of Elk Grove.

My husband lived there for a while when he was younger. He said to avoid the alphabet streets. When we drove through there, I could see why.

I d rather be in El Dorado Hills

Best place in manhattan to..? -

meet utterly drop dead gorgeous guys.. ??Any ideas, clubs, bars anywhere?where do all the sophisticated beautiful people go?and how do clubs work.. Im only 15 .. do people just come up and talk to you if your strangers or do people just sit in their own crowd??Tvm

You join a gym and take an interest in lifting weights. Also, Greenwich Village has lots of pubs. It s kind of an artsy-fartsy, college kids, and gay scene type of place, and celebrities have been known to go to bars there. Look it up online.

How much does it coast to get your tragus pierced at the Vibes in Redwood city???? -

Well, the logical thing would be to call them and ask! I mean, the internet is great, not less so because you can find the hours, contact info, etc... for a place in seconds, entirely on your own, without having to bother to ask someone else. :)In case you couldn t find their number: http://www.yelp.com/biz/vibes-redwood-ci

I will be visiting texas for a while and..? -

Traveling to Crater Lake,OR? -

I m planning for a travel to Crater Lake,OR for Thanksgiving. The whether says there might be a snow on friday or saturday. Is Chains mandatory en route to Crater Lake? How bad the snow in Crater Lake is? Do they clean the snow on roads?

If coming from central Oregon, chains could be required en route. Note that the north entrance to the park is closed, as well as Rim Drive. Today (Friday, November 20th) there are 17 inches of snow on the ground at Crater Lake Village. If arriving from the west side, then chains probably won t be needed until approximately the 3000 to 3500 foot elevation. That makes the last 20 miles of road subject to snow and chains. Even if chains aren t needed on the tires, carrying them would still be required.Snow plows do not clean the road. They remove most of the snow covering. If more snow is expectedor extended solid freezing weatherthey scrape the surface down to an inch or two deep, leaving an excellent surface for snow tires, chains, and studded tires. If melting or rain is expected, they try and remove most of the snow covering but not close to the point of nicking the road or damaging the markers.
