Going on a road trip from Chicago to California. Can we have a beach campfire at Big Sur? If not where can we? -

Me and 3 others are taking a 2 week [ish] road trip from Chicago to California. One of the places we are going for sure is Big Sur. I ve always wanted to have a beach campfire, although i know national and state parks have many restrictions. I ve been browsing the various websites related to Big Sur and i cant seem to find any information. Can anyone tell me for sure wether or not I can have a beach campfire at Big Sur? If not, is there a beach in California where I am allowed to?

For sure, I can t think of a single beach I have been to out here that you can t have a bonfire on. Most of the beaches have designated pits for all of that. Only bummer is that down south here, curfew is like 10pm and no alcohol on the beach. I m pretty sure the last beach to allow drinking was PB and they ended that like a year or two ago...can t really remember. I don t know much about norcal though...if you re coming to socal though, show up to the beach early, grab a pit and pack your stuff around. Poor your beer into a cup and hide it. Or, what we use to do in high school....take a soda can and drill a hole in the bottom of it. Drain that bad boy and fill it with your beverage of choice. Put a screw in the whole and use hot glue to close it. Then drink it like its a coke! Hope I helped

I m not sure about Big Sur either but I know there are fire pits for use on Huntington State Beach in Huntington, CA. There is a lot to do there as well like bars, restaurants, shops. However, Big Sur is up by San Fran and Huntington is down by LA so it s about a 6 hour drive. But if you re going all that way, you might as well get down to see LA and Hollywood!

Which hospital do u recommend is the best in san francisco? -

im moveing to san francisco and im not sure which hospital is best for my health which hospital do u think is the best in all sort of things please give examples of what they are good at......thnx! hope ur answers help

U C at San Francisco Medical CenterVery good at all things.Tops in nation on neurosurgery and gynecologyAlso rated high on Diabetes and on Lung DiseasesWonderful childrens Hospital Tops with all surgeryLed the way in infectious disease treatment

UCSF (medical school) and California Pacific Medical Center (on Sacramento Street) are recommended and rank high in patient care. I researched medical care when I first moved to SF and opted for a doctor who practices at California Pacific (and is also loosely affiliated with UCSF). I ve been extremely happy with the care--both from my doctor and the hospital services (lab, etc.). I have since moved out of SF to a nearby community but still see the same doctor.

The best hospital is University of California at San Francisco and the next is California Pacific Medical Center on Sacramento St. I don t know any more than that, just their reputation.

I agree with UCSF. They did two successful transplants on an acquaintance of mine. They are tops, total experts in their fields. If I ever had anything life-threatening, that s where I d want to go.
