When I move, where should I go live? -

So I m just planning/daydreaming for the future... and I ve been thinking about where I m going to live. I live in a small city in Southern California and I don t plan on staying here, but I will never move out of the state. I am the kind of person that must be close to their family, and all of mine lives here.So I ve been considering Malibu and San Diego.Give me some suggestions please? Thank you!

i don t live in them but i live in OC so i know a lot about them. they are both upper/middle class areas to live in with very little crime(like most of oc). housing is expensive, even more so in laguna niguel. both of these areas are in south orange county and virtually all of south OC is considered upscale . great place to live/raise a family, if you can afford it.

I don t think about them, and I doubt few people do either. I do understand where they are, and that both are very nice communities, but with most busy people concerned with living their lives I doubt very many spend much time pondering their opinion of Aliso Viejo

Nice areas, close to the beach. South OC is nice. What s not to like?

That s probably the best answer you re going to get. You could ask them at the post office when you mail your item and they may be able to give you a more-precise answer.

if you mail on monday it should only take 2-3 business days. priority is usually pretty quick.

What happens when a no one picks up a package from the post office? -

I ordered a package with USPS and i am out of town. Im checking the stauts online and it says Arrived at post office nov 22. I wont be back for a while and i was wondering what happens when a package isnt picked up after a long period of time.

You can call your local USPS and tell them why you can t make it and let them know when you can.They send it back to the original address if you don t pick it up during their last day that they ll hold it for you.

Do people know these kids are scamming?!? -

I m sure anyone who lives or works in downtown Chicago has seen these kids, the ones who stand out on Mich ave, and pass out flyers saying they are raising money for their basketball/football ect...team. They are out there all time, all year round. I actually had a friend a while back who became friends with 1 of the younger ones who was dumb enough to tell him that they make copies of these flyers, and pass em out so people give em money. And I see people give it to them all the time! I just want to scream out, they are scamming you! I actually told 1 guy when I stepped out for a min, and he didn t take me seriously. he said why would he be out here in the freezing cold if he were scamming people? Come on people..my fellow Chicagoans, aren t we smarter than this? Any opinion on this? Are you one of the people that gave them money? Or did you know they were scamming people?

Let the idiots give away their money.I could see them having alot of money and just handing out a few dollars or some change and think nothing of it.But I am not that well off so I would end up waiting for those crackheads with my boyfriend and robbing them in a minute for the money they spent all day begging for.I am sure that most that give to them are tourists or suburbanites.

You act surprised, I could have told you that. They are out by Wrigley Field all the time too.There s plenty of people who act like there cars are broken down or out of gas on 90/94 looking for money too, everyday there car breaks down. You are nieve if this was a surprise to you.

The guys beating on those white buckets are scammers too. Most of the candy sales (not all) are also scamming. I don t give money to anybody.

That scam was in NY 7 years ago.. There would be less scamming if Chicago would allow street performers to perform without a license. Those young guys could dance,sing, rap, Whatever they know how to do best instead of scamming you dumb Chicagoans. To your question aren t we Chicagoans smarter than this... My answer is NO!!!That s why I always say Chicago is so lame.Being killed for calling Chicagoans dumb.. I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT!! Getting out in Chicago I been there and done that its lame. I keep my money under my mattress, along with a shotgun, and have 10 locks on my door. All these people in the world trying to scam me! *hate*Those kids are annoying... or at least they were when I was there and I m sure nothing s changed. But I think such petty scams are par for the course in cities, especially tourist areas (which Michigan Ave. is, obv). In the broad scheme of things, I think there are worse things than a bunch of kids scamming tourists out of a buck here and there. And, I mean, it s for some stupid sports team... it s not like they re milking people with some heart-wrenching cause. Vegas in Feb 2010 - Best hotel, night clubs etc...? -

So we are headed to Vegas in February and I have been charged as the plan it guy. I m sure it is hard to go wrong in Vegas but I am also sure with a little planning it can go better. So a group of 8, 5 men 3 women varying from 26 -33 in ages. The purpose of the trip - lay it on the line party trip (maybe a little poker and black jack mixed in). The budget is not unlimited here but we are all career people and can afford the trip. From the deals on travelocity and other package sites we are considering MGM, Planet Hollywood, Mirage or Flamingo. I have never stayed at any of them and all the review sites have raving reviews and raging reviews. SO it is hard to tell about the hotels.The second part of this question is about bars/clubs and the like. Where are the places you would hang out if a good time/ great time not a COOL time was the goal. None of us care about being seen, long lines, DJ s or supposed hottest spot... great environment, friendly people and fun times are the primary goals (and I m sure the single guys would have me throw in women)Advice?

well i would suggest you stay at the Hilton hotel its great. Its not on the strip but then there is a monorail stop in the hotel ($13.00 for a 24hr unlimited pass) and you can get to the strip in 10 mins the hotel is huge and the cost is about $40.00 A nite which is great and also in vegas all you do with a hotel is sleep there. the best option for a night club will be Tao in venetian and another one is Pure which i forgot. Also Magarita ville by flamingo is an excellent place to hang out great drinks and good food and beautiful crowd
