Is there any website similar to this one for San Diego or San Francisco? -

this one for LAhttp://www.lalife.com/would love to see one for SF bay area, San Diego or other areas of California

you need to go to at least three websites for similar info re San Diego:http://mapping.arjis.org/http://www.greatschools.net/search/searchttp://www.zillow.com/homes/san-diego_rbhttp://www.city-data.com/city/San-Diego-

There are a few that give the housing costs per square foot in conjunction with individual home descriptions, but nothing as comprehensive as lalife.com. I like the Safety and School ratings that are posted.Maybe this is an opportunity for you to create something for the other two cities?

What broadway should I go see next week? -

I have never been to a broadway show before and have no idea which one to go and see. Can anyone help me out. I was thinking west story because I have seen the film, but my girlfriend wants to see Lion King.

Wicked or Hair . Both my favorites and i ve seen almost all of them. She ll love Mamma Mia too.

Doubt you ll be able to get tickets to Lion King - seems I heard it s sold out for months. That s probably the case with any of the major, popular shows, too. If you do a search for Broadway tickets you should get some leads for sites that might tell you what s available. Or, try the TKTS site. You have to stand in line to get tickets through them [either in Time Square or downtown] for the day of the show. One person keeps the place in line while the other goes to the board to see what s available. Tickets are about 50% off. The website has a list of recent availability, which doesn t necessarily mean they same shows will be available the day you re there.

How much would a taxi from new york to new jersey cost? -

i d like to know how much a cab from new york to new jersey would cost because i wish to go there.

Try this web site to give you a rough idea:http://nyccabfare.com/You also have the option of taking the subway which would be a much cheaper option.

Well, that depends on where in NJ you re going. Taxi here in NYC don t charge by the meter rate outside of the city, therefore, you will need to negotiate a price.I would recommend taking public transit from NYC to NJ. Depending on where you re going, you can NJ Transit commuter trains from Penn Station or NJ Transit buses from the Port Authority Bus Terminal, located at 8th Avenue and 42nd Street.I hope this infomration is very helpful.Good luck

my mom took a cab from new york airport to (I forget the names) the airport in new jersey, the total was 108 dollars, she gave the cab driver a 10 dollar tip so 118. hope that gave you an idea.

what part of new york to what part of new jersey.for instance, in denver a cab is $1.75 to get in and $.50/mile...

A cab from Albany, NY to Atlantic City, NJ will run you around $700.

depends on traffic, but generally, alot.

Best sightseeing way? -

HI,I was surfing through the internet and got really confused from the amount of the different sightseeing tours.I was wondering which one should I choose and if it is better to book it from the web or wait until I get in NY and decide there.P.S. I would like to take the helicopter tour and I would like to know if it s worth+1 for the harlem tour(is it worth?)

my husband and I went to NY for 1 week in May this year from Scotland, and we booked everything here online before we left, this was for 2 reasons, 1 it helped us budget and 2 it stopped us standing in long queues for certain things/ places. we went onto a wensite in Uk called attractionticketsdirect.com The bus company we used was the one you mentioned, they are the blue buses. we purchased a 5 attraction ticket from attractionticketsdirect.com and the blue busues only took 1 attraction ticket for 3 bus tours, because we took them all on the same day. we went on the hop on hop off open top bus tour of uptown, which after being on it I wouldn t do again, there wasn t anyhting to see for us, but the downtown tour was brilliant and we did hop on and hop off a lot, then we took the nighttime tour to Brooklyn to see Manahattan in the dark, which is an amazing tour and one not to be missed. On the day we went to statue of liberty, we went on subway to battery park from Grand central terminal, but you don t see anything down there, on the way back to hotle, we rode it again and kept coming up at certain points to see if there was anything interesting, sometimes we got lucky and other times we found ourselves nowhere near anything, so I would much prefer to travel on ground than underground. Be very careful of the helicopter flight, as we spend many hours on the statue of liberty and there is a protection area surrounding it, so no other boats or helicopters can go near it, so the internet is misleading, the photos show that you will fly right over the top of it, but you don t at all, you would see it clear enough but from a distance, best way to see it is by getting the ferry direct to it. and just re-reading your question, if you took the uptown tour, it takes you to Harlem anyway, so that would all be in the 1 price. I would definately recommend the bus company you suggested yourself.Hope this helps

My friend, if you really want to save money, I would suggest doing your own tour of NYC. Get a map and ware comfy shoes. If you need to get around the city, you can take public transit, the fare is only $2.25 a person. However, if you in town for week or 2 you can purchase a weekly or bi-weekly unlimited ride MetroCard and ride the subway as many times as you wish for one price. The 7-day unlimited ride pass will cost $27, which the 14-day unlimited will cost you $51.50.Good luck

That s a good tour for the price. Normally, you only get the helicopter ride for that amount. Here, you get bus tours and cruises. Sounds great actually. That s a good tour company too.

Does anyone know the actual chances of it snowing in houston tomorrow? -

I hear that they are not that sure that it will snow but does anyone know the chances?

We had some mix a few flakes today pending on where u lived. no real accumulation.

its 90 percent of snow with rain. Here in Brazoria County (Pearland, Manvel and Alvin to be exact) did snow alright. But use caution in the evening as it might freeze.

Percentage chance of snowfall today yesterday, was 80%. It s snowing right now!

It s now 8:30 am and there s a 100 % chance of the rain changing over to snow. It s already starting now. Enjoy!

Well, apparently 100%, because it snowed. And depending on where you are, it snowed HARD.

I am responding on Friday and it is not only snowing, but coming down hard.

LET IT SNOW!!! wow hopefully it gets like this every year :D

It s snowing !!

We saw snow in The Woodlands at 9 am this morning.

100%

I d say 110% chance.Look out your window right now.Anyone know where to get a shovel? LOL

New york ticket informatiojn? -

My girlfreind got a ticket for doing 20 mph over speed limit but there is no fine listed on the ticket and normally you can just mail in the amount does anyone know why this would not be listed .

No fine amount on moving violation means court appearance. If you are a local, go to a Finance Business Center and ask for a hearing. She will be in the bullseye for 4 points and a US$180 to US$300 fine. The court has a Reduced Fine Program that she can look into but be warned, she willl have to waive he right to a hearing.

Probably because you may have to appear before the local justice. Read the ticket carefully, if there is no notice to appear contact the authority that issued the ticket and ask them directly. In New York State 20+mph over the posted limit could be reckless driving and a few other charges! Check it out quickly because New York State can have your license suspended in ANY State in the US, and I m sure you don t want that to happen!

Could be a traffic warning, but I would recommend reading the ticket to make sure. It might also be a desk appearance ticket, which means she will need to appear in court on a date that is written on the ticket.Either way, I would suggest she address this matter as soon as possible.Good luck
