What is the best Hotel in Houston for a romantic stay? -

I m trying to plan Valentines Day and I want only the best for that day and I want to book early before everything sells out and the prices go sky high. Thanks guys.

Definatley now they are giving good discounts and so you can preferably go for making your bookings Now and the destination you chose is utterly romantic , Hotel Doubletree Downtown, Houston Hotel Country Inn Suites Carlson Intercontinental Air, Houston. And many more . Chose the best of your choice http://www.hotels2stay.net/houston-hotel

I agree with all of those...But maybe also the Magnolia? Or Hyatt Regency Houston? On Expedia (not sure Expedia, but one of them) you can check all of the boxes you want to apply for your preferences. And one of them asks you will it be a romantic getaway, family, etc... So, I would try that... :)

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

La Colombe D Or is very romantic and has a great restaurant. http://www.lacolombedor.com/

Im going to LA in June ...? -

when do you think its a good time to buy my plane tickets? I m going with three of my girlfriends.

Buy when gas prices are lower. Hard to predict that but for the most part, gas cost more during the holidays because of higher demand. I would wait til Febuary or March.

it depends if u like the weather cold or hot lol pick from there. or see if there are any events going on there. you and ur girls can have a fun time like that.

What are some nice, cheap vacation spots in Florida? -

I m having a problem deciding where I want to go in Florida. I want to be very close to the beach. Also any ideas on a cheap hotel? I was thinking a best western? I don t travel often and I ve looked up priceline and expedia but is it cheaper going through those sites? Please help, I m in need of a vacation in February! Thank you!

It probably won t be very warm north of a line running from Tampa on the west coast of the state to Cocoa Beach on the east coast. Look south of that line for balmy February weather. With that said, February is peak season. Prices are at their highest. Tourism appears to be very slow this winter, so you may actually find a killer deal at the hotel right on the water. Best Western sounds fine. As for priceline and expedia, you re at their mercy for location...you never know. On the plus side, practically every hotel in South Florida is within 1/2 hour of the beaches, so if you have wheels, the beach beckons you.

Place to live in Florida? -

I am graduating high school next year. I will be moving from Georgia to Florida soon afterward but I have no idea what city/county I should consider. So could any Florida resident or knowledgeable person of the state help me out? Here s what I m looking for in a place to live in Florida...1. NOT in a big city or a tiny tiny city. But WITH an ideal population with a lot of things to do2. On the beach3. An area that has condos or homes for residental use (Not a lot of tourists)4. The area HAS to be overall inexpensive ( I ll be fresh out of high school and won t have a lot of money)5. Must have places to rent (Don t want to buy a home at first)6. Must have good jobs availableSo does anyone know a town that has what I m looking for?

First of all, here is a map I found online:http://www.myfloridarelocation.com/floriHere is a Florida State Relocation site with some good info:http://www.stateofflorida.com/Portal/DesMany apartment guides/listings, but you enter your criteria.http://www.rent.com/rentals/florida/http://www.apartments.com/FloridaUntil you can narrow down your search to at least cities, the possibilities are endless. Hope some of this is helpful.

clearwater beach may be ideal, very nice beach, lots of condos and homes but maybe a few tourists sorry it is florida, you should probably be able to find somewhere cheap, lots of places to rent and lots of jobs available! hope this helps!

Why no mobile homes in Hawaii? -

We were on vacation in September and in our travels we heard how expensive the housing is on Oahu. I got to wondering why there are no mobile home (trailer) parks or pre-manufactured homes used in Hawaii. I inquired but no one seemed to have a definite answer. Is it a code thing or the islanders don t like the look or what. I know here in PA we have them and they stand up to the storms we get a good as stick built housing. Just curious. Seems like you could greatly reduce your housing costs. Or did I just not see them?

Like some others said, zoning restrictions and state/city policies keep trailer parks from getting erected. Occasionally you see trailer homes, but obviously without the parks, it s quite pointless. Plus, it would just look plain ugly in Hawai i, and it s not like the islands are huge either. I mean seriously, you can buy a mansion and property in Washington for the same cost you buy only the lot in Hawai i. Bottom line though, there s nowhere to build/fixate them without it looking ugly or out of place (Sense of Place). As for pre-manufactured homes, there actually are a few of these in Hawai i, as they are cheap and can be moved easily. But then again, this is affordable housing and although its cheap, I m pretty sure it cost an arm and leg to have it shipped to these islands in the middle of nowhere.ps. visit Tracks by power plant leeward side next time you come. you ll probably see some trailers and movable houses. not to mention some awesome sunsets and views.hope this sorta answered your questions.

In the past manufactured homes have not existed in Hawaii due to the cost to transport them via cargo ship. I have had manufactured homes shipped to Alaska in the past and the bill for shipping via sea is over $10,000 per section. As a mortgage broker specializing in financing Manufactured homes, I have been working with a manufactured home dealer located in the state of Hawaii and has been selling them for a few years now. Check out www.fabmachomes.com for more information on manufactured homes in Hawaii

It probably has to do with shipping costs. To ship a mobile home here would add to the price. Then the re is the fact that land is limited there is really no place to store mobile homes.

Because of zoning restrictions which were put in place long ago before prefabricated homes developed into the quality they are now. Hawaii didn t want to have trailer parks.

Land cost to much, and trailors don t add to the Island theme.

We no like drive our homes.
