If you have changed your name in Denver Colorado can you help me? -

how much does it cost?i only want to change my middle and last name will it cost a lot?

It s a different process for if you are over 18 or not, so which one are you? For over 18, it s generally not a hard process as you fill out the paperwork and petition the courts. For minors it s a bit more difficult and goes through a different process and court.

Is San Francisco the most beautiful city in the world? -

I m italian but i used to live in San Francisco (now i live in Arcata),and i think SF is the most beautiful city in the world, people are friendly, the bay is one of the most wonderful place all over the world, and there is a magic athmosphere who make me feel so good (in Italy i ve always felt so wrong). All the blocks are so beautiful,Chinatown,Presidio,Castro,Nob Hill,Pacific Heights,Marina,ecc....in Milan (when i ve lived for 23 years) there aren t this beautiful places, blocks are urban and gritty (much much worse than The Tenderloin, who seems a residential area in comparison).Only the weather is not very well, and the car parking are so expensive!!!BUT......I LOVE SAN FRANCISCO!!!Do you agree that is the most beautiful city in the world?

Have you SEEN Havana? ;)Zurich, Damascus (Old Damascus, anyway), Marseilles, etc... Not to mention smaller/non-major cities , many of which are WAY more beautiful than any of the above!

Iv e Been to many parts of the U.S and world and seen all types of cities and countries but CALI has it all, S.F is nice, San Diego is nice too, visit Santa Barbara and you ll agree CALIFORNIA is King. When you mention your from the U.S to a Foreigner they say what part and if that part is not California they are not too interested.

San Francisco is certainly beautiful. But Milan, Paris, etc. are also very beautiful. Milan also has better dressed ppl. Much of the SF population (including women) wear black Old Navy hoodies, jeans and ski caps. Yuck.

Thank you - having only traveled vicariously through books and film and never lived in other places, I find your information interesting. I m sure you are a beautiful person, that s why you like SF.

I m not going to disagree... Saying that one city is more beautiful than any place else is totally subjective, but SF certainly IS beautiful, and much moreso than most other major cities.

Probably not the most beautiful in the world, but definitely the most beautiful in the USA!

one of the most beautiful cities in America and one I love living close to and working incertain cities in Austria and Italy are breathtaking as well

Hmm...I think Edinburgh (The capital of Scotland) could give S.F a run for it s money.

I think it is. SF is my favorite city. There is nothing else in the world like it.

LOL! The most beautiful city in the world?..........NO!

Never been there, but it looks nice on television.

absolutely not

i agree dont ya LOVE San Francisco!

Well, definitely SF can be captivating and a daily reward for someone who lives from the heart and who believes that aesthetics is an essential ingredient in determining quality of life. I have lived in SF for many years. Not now, as I am taking a much needed break from California. Two things you did not mention: 1) the general sense of respect for human beings, including those who are troubled or somehow disadvantaged. There are many people who are living on the margins and they are a daily presence. But iI think they know that being in SF is better than other places (such like LA, which can be a pretentious rat race).2) the atmospherics of SF s unique weather. I have always had a deep fascination with the fog as it can be strikingly beautiful in the most unexpected way. I will suggest to you two beautifully photographed videos on Vimeo which manage to capture some of the magic of SF and the Bay Area in general.http://www.vimeo.com/hd#7260115andhttp://www.vimeo.com/hd#6601409PS: I have lived also in Rome and in Seattle and I think both are exceptional places.

I have grown up and lived in SF Bay Area all my life and I admit, I doubt I will ever leave this area of California. Unfortunately, as the cost of living here rises, so does the pretentiousness of the residents! But speaking architecturally and weatherwise, it s a gorgeous place to visit and live. However, I also found Seattle to be so beautiful, but the weather from November-April is just so dark that I don t think I could live there. NY (Manhattan and surrounding areas) is also beautiful, diverse and full of energy. Also -- Boulder, Colorado is another beautiful place; very sunny even when there s snow! I think the most beautiful city in the world is the one where you feel most at peace.

Will florida extradite me from tennessee? -

I seriously doubt it but here s my situation.I recently went to Miami, Florida for a vacation. While I was there someone I know got in a fight with a valet parker and ran off. I was trying to hold him back and slung him down to make him stop. When the police came they arrested me for disorderly intoxication. They took me to jail and 2 days later I went to court and I was told if I pleaded no contest it would get dismissed. The judge never said anything about court cost. Got a letter in the mail today saying I owe 500 dollars! 100 for a public defender that I thought was free. There is no way in hell I m going to pay that because I didn t do anything wrong. So what will happen when I don t pay it?

First the courts will put a bench warrant out for your arrest. Then if you ever get pulled over for anythign you will be taken to jail. Then you will wait in jail until Florida makes up there mind when they will come get you., or if you are lucky just make you sit in there until you pay the $500, but I doubt they will let you off that easy. Usually they make you wait until they come get you, because they will charge you with contempt of court and then make you pay for that plus extraditing fees. It will likely cost you $1000 plus a couple of weeks in jail plus a very uncomfortable ride to Florida, which may take a couple of more weeks depending on the route of the US Marshalls.

You might want to put this in the Legal section rather than the Travel section, since it isn t a travel question.I wouldn t mess around with legal entities. Sounds like you DID do something wrong - public intoxication and fighting. There are ALWAYS court costs. If there s no way in hell you re going to pay it, then don t - but you should be prepared for the consequences.

Are there any OPEN MIC PIANO BARS in Philadelphia besides TAVERN ON CAMAC? -

An OPEN MIC PIANO BAR provides a separate microphone for customers to sing solo to the accompaniment of the piano/keyboard player. TAVERN ON CAMAC is like this. Does any Philadelphian know of any others, especially in Center City (straight or gay places are all OK with me). Thanks.

Los Angeles or Orlando for vacation? -

I m getting started planning my vacation next year and i m wondering which city would be better for a 10 day vacation with a 5 year old?

There would be far more for a five-year-old to enjoy in Orlando. It s definitely a better family vacation destination than Los Angeles.

Orlando, hands down. Take your 5 year old to Disney, it truly is the most magical place on Earth. But do it right, stay on property and take advantage of everything Disney has to offer. You will not regret it!I put a few sites to help you out with the planning below. The disboards is a message boards type website that is all about going to Disney. You can get resort reviews, trip reports, restaurant reviews, and so much more. I have been to Disney many times and I always learn something new when I go on the site.Next, check out the Disney website. The Disney website has a ton of info as well, and a resort comparison tool that will help you pick the right place to stay. I would recommend the All-Star Movies resort, it is perfect for the kids. And remember, staying on Disney gives you all the perks, such as transportation and the great Disney service. Disney has a resort to fit any budget. You can also check out allears.net, another pretty good resource for travels to Disney.I hope this helps, have a great trip!

Orlando, Less smog, more fun.

With a five year old at hand, go to Orlando. The city holds Disney World (5 parks, or is it 6), Sea World, Universal Studio, you can visit the Space Center, go to the beach. I remember seeing a water park there too. It s a great place for a vacation, I ve gone many, many times as a child and as an adult.

There isn t any other choice than Orlando. Disney World, Universal, Sea World, Wet n Wild, shopping, dining, shows. How much more do you want?

OMG ORLANDOOO. I live in Cocoa beach.. 45 minutes east. I love going to orlando. wonder works, sea world, universal, disney. C mon!

Los Angeles peaceful and exceiting place..

orlands fun, but ive been there many times..try miami if you want florida? but nothing beats california, and the life there is sooo amazing, and the beaches..shopping..everything.

orlando for the beach or Los Anseles for holleywoodwhich ever you are more interested in , go there

Orlando, although WDW or the other parks are expensive. Not much to see/do in LA, especially for kids.

Your 10 year old would love Orlando. Not much for a 10 yr old to do in LA.

Orlando, it s the bomb!

Which Dallas suburbs would you describe as....? -

Hi. I m moving to the Dallas area soon and I wanted to learn a little more about the suburbs. Which suburbs of Dallas would you describe as:1) Highly Affluent?2) Mostly Upper Middle class3) Mostly Middle class ( Blue Collar /Working Class)?4) Lower income or poor, if any?5) Economically diverse or places with people of various income groups?6) Ethnically diverse? Thanks in advance for your help. My family and I are looking forward to becoming Texans!

Hello mel71082,I ll take a shot at your question. Since there are a ton of suburbs, I ll try to include cities that - in my opinion C are the best representations of each category. For cities with more than 20,000 residents, I ve included the median household income figures (in thousands, rounded) from the U.S. Census Bureau s 2008 American Community Survey. The median household income in 2008 for the state of Texas was $49,078. As a point of reference, the median household income of Dallas is $41,731 and in Fort Worth, its $48,297.1) Highly Affluent? The most exclusive suburbs in the area are known as the Park Cities, which include University Park (151) and its smaller neighbor Highland Park. Both are actually enclave communities surrounded by the city of Dallas. Colleyville (150) and Southlake (188) are also highly affluent.2) Mostly Upper Middle class?Quite a few suburbs are upper middle-class. Allen (94), Coppell (108), Corinth (96), Flower Mound (111), Grapevine (75), Frisco (102), Keller (115), Little Elm (76), McKinney (79), Mansfield (88), Plano (84), Rockwall (75), Rowlett (82), and The Colony (79) all fall into this category. Smaller towns that are upper middle-class include Sunnyvale, Murphy, Parker, Prosper, Trophy Club, and Ovilla.Cities at the higher end of this category like Coppell, Frisco, and Keller are mostly a mix of upper middle-class and highly affluent neighborhoods. Cities at the lower end of this category are mostly a mix of upper middle-class and middle-class neighborhoods.3) Mostly Middle class ( Blue Collar /Working Class)? This is a broad category that many cities fall into. Arlington (53), Bedford (60), Benbrook (58), Burleson (67), Carrollton (71), Cedar Hill (65), Denton (46), DeSoto (58), Duncanville (50), Euless (53), Farmers Branch (56), Garland (52), Grand Prairie (51), Hurst (52), Irving (47), Lancaster (50), Lewisville (55), Mesquite (52), North Richland Hills (66), Richardson (72), Saginaw (68), Watauga (66), Waxahachie (48), Weatherford (47), and Wylie (74) are all middle-class suburbs. Smaller middle-class towns include Crowley, Glenn Heights, Red Oak, Midlothian, and Sachse.4) Lower income? The DFW area doesn t have many suburbs that I would consider low income or impoverished. Balch Springs (39), an older suburb east of Dallas and Haltom City (42), an inner-ring suburb of Fort Worth fall into this category. The smaller towns of Wilmer, Hutchins, and Cockrell Hill would fit into this category as well. 23.8 percent of Balch Springs population live below the poverty line, while only 21.7 percent of Dallas population does. 18.0 percent of Haltom City s population lives below the poverty line, compared with 16.6 percent within the city of Fort Worth. Wilmer and Hutchins are mostly undeveloped, so they have the best chance of growing into middle-class communities.5) Economically diverse or places with people of various income groups? Larger inner-ring suburbs typically have a variety of neighborhoods that range from affluent to low income. Irving is a good example. It has higher income areas (Las Colinas/Valley Ranch) and middle-income areas, but also has a poverty rate of 15.4 percent. Grand Prairie, Arlington, Garland, Mesquite, and Carrollton are all economically diverse communities.6) Ethnically diverse? The DFW area has a population of 6.3 million people. With the notable exception of the highly affluent communities and some of the smaller towns that haven t experienced rapid increases in population, most suburbs have some degree of ethnic diversity. Again, inner cities and inner-ring suburbs are typically going to be more ethnically diverse than the outer suburbs on the fringes of the metro. I live in the southwest Dallas County city of Lancaster. It and the other surrounding communities - Cedar Hill, Grand Prairie, DeSoto, Duncanville, and Glenn Heights are ethnically diverse. Places like Richardson, Rowlett, Mesquite, and Garland have diverse populations as well. Murphy in Collin County is quite diverse, considering its upper middle-class demographics.I hope you find this information helpful and Welcome to TEXAS!

Highly affluent cities are Colleyville,Frisco,Southlake and University Park in DallasMostly Upper Middle are McKinney,Anna,Wylie,Murphy,Lavon,Plano used to be upper middle but it is now in between regular middle and upper.Middle Class includes Lewisville, Flowermound, Garland,Richardson,Rockwall,Rowlett,Ceda hill, Desoto, Duncanville,Arlington, Grand Prairie, Mesuite, MidlothianDO NOT MOVE TOBalch Springs or Seagoville they are really poor citities. Addison is a great place to visit not live because it is mainly apartmentsGrand Prairie, Desoto, and Cedar Hill are ethnically and economically diverseLake Ridge is a very expensive area in Cedar Hill and grand Prairie. All cities are economically diverse here

) Highly Affluent? Highland Park, University Park2) Mostly Upper Middle class? Plano, South Lake, Frisco, Flower Mound, Grapevine, McKinney3) Mostly Middle class ( Blue Collar /Working Class)? Carrollton, Lewisville, Arlington, Grand Prairie,Irving, Richardson, Garland, 4) Lower income or poor, if any? Lancaster, Wilmer-Hutchins, Balch Springs5) Economically diverse or places with people of various income groups? all in # 3 Plano6) Ethnically diverse? Richardson, Carrollton, Irving, Plano

I ve lived in Highland Park my whole life and know lots about Dallas... :-)1. Park Cities (Highland Park and University Park) HP is more of the bigger houses and UP is the medium sized houses. 2. UP ^^^ HP is more upper class.3. Southlake (southlake is nice, but Park cities is nicer.) Preston Hollow is also nice, but the school district DISD is not the best. Preston Hollow s school district is DISD. You would probaly send your kids to private schools which are expensive.4. Oak Cliff/South Dallas (very poor part past downtown Dallas though.)5. Not really any.6. Some 10% indian 30% African American 10% chinese 50%white mostly white though!

1) Highly Affluent? Park Cities2) Mostly Upper Middle class? Plano, Frisco3) Mostly Middle class ( Blue Collar /Working Class)? Most suburbs are middle class.4) Lower income or poor, if any? Wilmer-Hutchins, Balch Springs, Seagoville5) Economically diverse or places with people of various income groups? Garland, Carrollton6) Ethnically diverse? Arlington, Richardson

East Dallas, also far north dallas,East is best from Baylor Hosp area to White Rock Lake

Has anyone had a Vegas wedding? -

I was checking different places to have a small but nice and memorable wedding in Vegas- I was looking at a place Vegas Weddings 555 South 3rd Street . I was just wondering if anyone has had a reception there or maybe even a different place in vegas that is affordable..

I got married in Vegas two years ago but it was very small but we are looking to renew our vow and the Viva Las Vegas wedding chapel was an option because you could have the ceremony and reception at the same place and they have quite a few options

You bet. Great wedding and cheap and that was 21 years ago. We got married at the Candlelight Chapel. Sorry that they tore it down and now a condo. would do the whole thing over again. we had a motor home and had a receiption there. then took everyone out for dinner at golden nuget buffet. great time and memories.........................
