How many people can be on Rockefeller Centers ice rink? -

I ve never been to NYC but when I see pictures, there s always only about 30 people on the ice. How do they work that? Do they only let a certain # of people and give them a certain amount of time? I would think it would be so crowded no one could skate... I ve wondered about that.

They have the day divided into sessions. Everyone (except the employees) has to leave at the end of the session (or buy a ticket for the next session).

The rink is about the size of an Olympic size rink, therefore, somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 to 40 people can be on the ice at one time. However, that depends on on the time of day.Good luck

Q: How many people can be on Rockefeller Center s ice rink?A: The rinks capacity is about 200 people. Please note that groups should be aware that during public hours, rink admission and skate rentals are first-come, first-serve so get there in time.

How far is Cheney Washington from Tacoma Washington? -

depending on the pass, it normally takes me about 4 1/2 hours to make that trip during the summer, add an hour to an hour or two during the winter.

Cheney is near Spokane and Tacoma is near Seattle, so roughly 300 miles or ~5 hours. At the moment Snoqualmie Pass on I-90 is clear, but if the weather turns on I-90 it s going to cost you some time.

Driving (with highways and tolls) 280 miles and 4 hours 35 minutesDriving (without highways and tolls) 331 miles and 9 hours 2 minutesWalking 293 miles and 4 days

280 miles, 4 hrs 35 min as per Google Maps

it prob takes 5 hours. it s a very long ways away

I was suppose to take the Q train to parkside ave to see a girl that I talk to.me and her been talking for a while.after I take the Q train to parkside ave,I have to walk down ocean ave two blocks.her building is on ocean ave and crooke ave.my friend said not 2 go cause he heard the area is real bad.can anyone tell me if the area is bad and if I should go or not?if I do go should I avoid going at night

It is not in the best of areas, so I would avoid the nocturnal stroll. You would probably be okay during daytime hours.

I wanted to know where is better to live Florida or Nevada? -

I want to know which place is better to live meaning economic life style, living, jobs all that which one is a better pick

You re comparing Apples and oranges. Nevada is a desert. It s hot and dry most of the year. Rain is VERY rare. The major towns are beautiful, but the economy isn t that good right now. It has an astir beauty about it. You either love it or hate it. Florida is bordered on three sides by water so it gets very humid. It has slightly warmer Winters. There is a pronounced Hispanic influence there. Some parts are beautiful, and a few are really trashy . It is a relatively flat state with no mountains, and it is susceptible to Hurricanes. Both states have mostly friendly, neighborly people. I, personally, could be happy in either.

I dont know about Nevada, but I ve lived in Florida all my life. The weather is always nice. The lifestyle is greatly influenced by hispanic culture. (Its good to know both english and spanish if you live there), about jobs I dont know cause Im only 16. Education is not as good as other places like chicago. It also depends on which area you move it. If you move to cocoplum you will have security and it is very nice.

I live in Miami, FL, personally I love it here. The people are friendly, and a little crazy sometimes but that s what makes it fun. When driving they can be a tad rude sometimes. It will help ALOT to know both Spanish and English. Most of us are from Cuba or somehow know Spanish. The weather is extremely hot. During the summers it can get super hot but we usually have heavy rains, however recently the rains have become less often.Economic wise we re okay, depending on what your profession is. The life style is okay, assuming you make lots of friends they ll probably drag you out to some malls or something such as Sunset Place or maybe South Beach. One more thing, contrary to popular belief Miami Beach is NOT in Miami, it s a sseparatecity on Fisher Island off the coast of Florida. If you want to cool down during summers, which trust me, you will, you ll want to go to one of the beaches. During events such as 4th of July or New Years it s not uncommon to see fire works blasting from the beaches, they can usually be seen anywhere in Miami. During New Years the city of Coral Gables also holds some small concerts near their Town Hall. If you want a peaceful city then Coral Gables is your best bet, mind you, it s a tad expensive. If you like the sounds of the city, then Miami is where you want to be. I ve lived in South Florida all my life and I really would never want to move.As for Nevada, I have no clue about it.

How long is the drive from los angeles to las vegas? -

It s a 5 hour drive, but it seems vastly longer if your mother-in-law is in the car talking.

Plan on 5-6 houra. It s an hour to Claremont/Pomona, another hour and a half to Barstow then 2 1/2 hours to Vegas. You will stop at least once to eat and use the restroom. Take it easy, Las Vegas is open 24/7, 365 days a year except leap year when it s 366 days. Of course, weekends the traffic is heavier and the accidents will slow you down some.

4 hours, depending on your route, traffic, and your driving. Keep in mind, if you enter Vegas from the south end of the strip, you could actually sit in traffic for 1-2 hours, which of course would then be added to the time of your trip.

I go back and forth often , it is usually exactly 4 hours even if you stop quick to grab a bite. Unless there is traffic then 5 or more.

4 hours if your going without stopping, if you plan to stop by Baker to eat and look around then i would say 5 hours.

Between 4 and 5 hours depending on traffic and your speed.

On a low traffic day just over 4 hours

4-5 hours. maybe more on holidays

Anyone else think that Boots amp; Kimos has horribly rude and obnoxious service? -

The food is great, the service is the worst i ve ever experienced. I went there with 4 other people and was told it would be a 15 to 20 minute wait. 30 minutes later I asked them when we could expect to be seated. They immediately got defensive and said that they don t know and that they can t make people leave their table after they re done! Then I found out that we had to wait longer because the waiter never got our order while we were outside waiting to get in! WTF, as if it s our fault he skipped us.

ABSOLUTELY. I won t go back. Similar problem to yours. The first time I thought maybe it was a fluke and I thought I would try one more time, but the second time to be called a katong by the hostess, well, I just won t go back.I think in general people in Hawaii are actually MORE considerate than other places, but there is definitely a set of people that like to do the power trip .

Good customer service is not really a local cultural value in Hawaii. In other words, we can t assume that everybody thinks it is important. After I d been here a few years, I d just stare cluelessly at the people who were complaining along with everybody else. If the customer was extremely lucky, the manager would happen to wander out while they were complaining and actually listen to them.If you haven t before--and if you can stand it (a friend of mine says it s too close to the truth to be funny)--listen to Rap Reiplinger s classic comedy routine Room Service .

What is it like to live in Houston? -

Is there a lot of sexy Hispanics?mkay

Boring. If you re white, Hispanics will love you since they think you ll raise their status or give them a green card.

no scenic beauty, lots of jobs, cheap housing, no income tax, high property taxes, 8% sales tax, cheap housing, very long distances, hot and humid in the summer, cool in the winter.

IDK about sexy hispanics but we have PLENTY of hispanics. It s too hot too congested a euphemism for gridlock from hell!

houston is great.... 40% or more hispanic population... great opportunity for work and cost of living is not terrible
