Is La alot different from living in manhattan? -

im moving to la from mahattan. How diferent is it? is hockey a big sport in la?What is the atmosphere i hear it is more laid back and cheaper. What is a typical girl like?

You ve asked this same question so many times you should already have a good idea. There is NOTHING in Los Angeles for you. Please stay in Manhattan. It s NOTHING like you see portrayed on stupid television programs

Coming from NY to LA is going to be different. Sunshine most of the year (i wear flip flops 10 out of 12 months) Hockey is not a major sport but the Kings and the Ducks do have a good fan base, the games are kind of hectic (fan rivalries). There is so much to do in LA it s almost impossible to do it all. People here are laid back and in my opinion like to talk a lot and joke around. The girls are interesting, we have so many different types of females for all tastes, whatever you like. But most LA girls come across as stuck up and gold diggers, so please don t come with corny lines, we don t like that and we won t bother :0)!!! Good luck with your move and I hope you enjoy LA just don t get too caught up in the hollywood night life, it can be addicting!

Hockey? Nobody cares about hockey here. Even when the local teams win. As already mentioned, the Lakers and Dodgers are the big teams here. And the Angels, if you wind up in the OC. Yes, LA is more laid back than Manhattan. Everything s more spread out, so you have to drive further. The traffic is rotten.I don t think there is such a thing as a typical girl . There s a LOT more variety here, not only with the girls, but with everything else. You can toss out your ice scraper and snow shovel, as well as any rock salt you might have. Ask anyone here what rock salt is for, and they ll tell you it s for putting on french fries.

L.A. is 499 square miles/ Ny is 24 square miles.....Which is bigger???You grow up following the sports you play. Ice Hockey? No way. Baseball and B-Ball are the L.A. games. Is L.A. more layed back? Of course. We are not rats in a cage with personal and economic axes to grind. At least we have room to move around unlike New Yorkers.Your apartment which costs $4600 in Ny will be $1600 here. Or a good buy apt. will be like $3000 NY and $1400 L.A. NYC is so overpriced and so are the wages paid there. But it s all relative.I was born in NYC and grew up in in SoCal. It is different. In winter you don t have to shovel sunshine. Not every conversation evokes a negotiation or a hustle like in NYC. People are frendlier.

your information is correct. it is a lot more laid back. there is still a lot of really bad traffic but nothing compared to what you are used to in manhattan. also it is not quite as densly packed as manhattan. weather is better too. it s definetely an adjustment for sure

yeah, i hear its alot worse.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5mwWPyuBIc feature=PlayList p=2168E931E3805CAD playnext=1 playnext_from

VERY.It s not humid like Manhattan. It s not cold like Manhattan. It s cheaper than Manhattan.Hockey is not a big sport in LA. Basketball and baseball is (LA Lakers, Dodgers.)

Yeah obviousman_2001got it all right I agree with that dude. GO Lakers!!!!!!!!!! GO Dodgers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think you ll like it here better.

ya its different cause LA is way bigger.

How long does it take to get to Manhattan from Roselle Park, NJ? -

1 hour

Really large buffet in Myrtle Beach? -

I went to this really huge and regal looking seafood buffet in Myrtle Beach a few years ago but no one I went with could remember what it was. It had multiple dining levels, and long buffet lanes.I feel like it was near Broadway at the Beach but it might not have been.I remember it being a large cream colored building, but it might be different now.We went about 6 years ago.

I live in Myrtle Beach and I know a lot seafood restaurants - buffets here. Calabash seafood buffets are pretty large, where are few of these in the area, Giant Crab in a restaurant row is large buffet, Preston s in North Myrtle Beach. Could be Landry s it s located in Broadway at the beach. Here I ll give you a list of all seafood restaurants in Myrtle Beach: http://www.myrtlebeachscrestaurants.com/ . Also if you looking for something to do here is a local website about Myrtle Beach entertainment: http://www.myrtlebeachbay.com/ . I hope you will find a restaurant you looking for, good luck to you and enjoy your stay in Myrtle Beach.

Are you sure that it wasn t South toward Murral s Inlet. Crabby Mike s or something like that. I remember they had levels. The Calabash places and the Giant crab are pretty big. They are North past Barefoot landing. Are you sure it wasn t Barefoot Landing instead of Broadway at the Beach? The only seafood place at Broadway is Landry s which is near water at Broadway. On the map it is at the lower right corner of Broadway http://www.broadwayatthebeach.com/2009baHere is a look at The Giant Crab http://www.giantcrab.com/buffet.htmlhttp://www.giantcrab.com/about.html I think you would have remembered the huge crab, LOL.Here is Crabby Mike s http://www.crabbymikes.com/ I think this is closest to what you described.

Sorry I can t help but I would suggest best place to eat in MB is RIOZ Brazilian steak house. I mean its Steak, Steak and more meat!
