How much does it cost to ship a 25lb package from Dar Es Salaam Tanzania to Atlanta GA USA? -

get ahold of the shipping company(FedEx, UPS, USPS) and ask them. I know most have online shipping calculators so you can figure it out yourself.

Who is more in number in new york city apart from american people? -

Italian,Chinese,Israeli,Indian,Mexican or Bangladeshi?

You know, many of the Chinese people in NYC ARE American people as well!Same with Italian, Israeli, Indian, Mexican or Bangladeshi!!!!You can have an ethnicity and still be American. You can even have been born in another country and still be American!

New York City is racist against Americans, that s why you are getting the responses. Not counting blacks, I ll say Jewish, followed by Italians. If you count blacks, it s blacks probably. By 2012, New York City will be 95% Korean (all claiming to be American)

Define American, please. As previous poster said, all of the above are americans, if they are citizens. I live here and I honestly do not remember Pilgrims or native americans shopping at Macy s.

Apart from American?

Going to Boston, late January. What type of outerwear should be appropriate to stay warm? -

Im going to Boston for a week, late Jan.Will wool be fine to keep me warm,or Thinsulate,or anything better...I really like the American Eagle wool outerwear stuff, but Im afraid that it looks pretty, but it wont keep me warm. Are there any American Eagle stores in Canada,or similiar stores there?I dont live there, but some of my family live there, and they are visiting me in about a week or so.I live FAR away,in an urban desert, and have never EVER seen snow before(except in one of those artifical snow parks!).PLEASE guide me!Any extra tips will totally be appreciated! Thanks!!!

Wow, these other people are trying to scare you. It might be really cold out but if you re dressed correctly you ll be plenty warm. The best thing to do is to dress in thin layers of clothing and if you get too warm you can always remove something.I wear a layer of silk underwear consisting of socks, long johns, and undershirt. Over that I would wear wool socks with slacks/jeans and a shirt. Over that I might wear a fleece vest. Over the vest I would wear a warm windproof/waterproof jacket, it doesn t have to be too heavy because the layers will keep you plenty warm.Don t forget some waterproof boots/sneakers with a warm hat and also waterproof insulated gloves (mittens are even warmer) with a silk liner. If your coat doesn t have a hood then wear a scarf on windy days. If it is below zero degrees farenheit then also wear a balaclava which covers the face and head:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balaclava_(A snowsuit would also work but they are big and bulky and are more suitable for when you are outside for long periods of time with little physical exertion like when you are ice fishing or snowmobiling.

The temperatures in Boston in late January can range from the low 60s to below zero. The cold can be accompanied often by a biting wind. Obviously bring clothes for such extremes (a hooded coat is recommended instead of a hat, earmuffs and scarf). And bring insulated, waterproof boots!!!

basically, a parka LOL. I suggest a fleece zip up underneath a down feather jacket- you will need gloves, a hat, and some WARM wool socks. Boots that are waterproof and some warm pants.Gooooood luck!P.S. Temps range in jan from -10 degrees to around 27 degrees so be mindful.

If you want to stay warm, wear fleece. Also, layer up your clothes. Wear a hat (you ll be much colder without anything on your head), gloves, scarf, heavy coat, and warm socks. Focus on staying warm as opposed to looking good.

fleece! and LAYER. it will be cold, probably at least a bit below freezing in january. leggings/long underwear might help too.

underware? Forget that get a snow suit.

Urban Desert where it never snows! Sounds like paradise to me. You really don t want to come here in January. New England winters are downright nasty. No fun at all. just very cold, sometime to the point that it hurts. And the snow, is overrated at best. Snow is cold, wet, ugly and makes the roads dangerous to drive on. You could live a full rewarding life without ever seeing that white sh*t, ever. Trust me on this one. Anyway, to answer your question, you will need a heavy winter coat, some sweaters, gloves, boots and a wool hat, perhaps a scarf. Most days, that will be sufficient, however, on the coldest days of the year, no matter how much you bundle up, you will still be cold. My advice, unless it s absolutely necessary, cancel your trip and come back in the summer. American Eagle stores are common in shopping malls in New England. Here is a store locator for American Ehttp://www.ae.com/web/storelocator/defauThe nearest one to Boston is in the Natick Mall, about 20 miles outside the cityhttp://www.ae.com/web/storelocator/store

Best thing to wear would be a car with a good heating system. It is going to be so bleeping cold you can t imagine. Listen to the Jimmy Buffett song Boat Drinks , that was written while he was in Boston in February one year.If you want to go for fashion, wear a long black wool coat (below the knees) w/scarf and a hat (stocking hat). You will also want some warm boots (Uggs). You can wrap the scarf up around your face.If you want to go for warmth, change the coat to a long nylon shell down coat (also below the knees) w/scarf and hat and boots. A hood on the coat with a fur (faux fur works) trim to keep the wind out is good too. You can find these coats at LLBean.com, my wife has one.Under that you will want turtle neck shirt and a sweater.Don t forget mittens or gloves.Be aware that if it s snowing or raining the Ugg style boots are not the best choice as they won t keep your feet dry. The key to staying warm is to keep your head, back of your neck and feet warm and dry.

How old do you have to be to rent a car in Las Vegas? -

I m planning on taking a trip to Las Vegas this coming March or April as I am considering relocating there and I want to see what the city is like before I make a final decision if a move is good or not.I will be 20 when I make my trip this coming spring. I may go by myself or maybe one of my older friends or family may go with me (it would be easier on expenses thats for sure)But anyways if I do end up going by myself, does the state of Nevada, Clark County or the city itself have age restrictions on rent a cars? This would be very helpful to me. Thanks! If i do make the move it will be in November or December 2010

Age restrictions are put on by the rental agency or their insurer. They are 25 here. Some places will allow down to 21 with extra insurance riders. You might want to read this web page about moving to Vegas.

Legally you can rent a car at 18, HOWEVER, by company policy almost EVERY rental agency requires you to be 25, or they will charge you a HUGE underage surcharge. People under 25 just have too many accidents.

most car companies you have to be 25under 25 many charge a very huge price and if your under 21 its even more you also need a credit card like visa MC..

25 to rent a car or work in a rental agency where you move the car.

25 with a valid driver s license. There is 24 hour drinking so risks are higher in Vegas so therefore, they are stricter in terms of renting cars.

majors want credit card for 25 or more, 21-25yo, big cash, both current driver license,

21 with a valid drivers license and major credit card.

Are there actual seats in the floor section for the end stage set-up at the Staples Center? -

Or is it like general admission? Thinking about going to a show with an end stage set-up, but not sure if the floor seats are going to have actual seats or standing room only.

There are almost always reserved seats on the floor, unless it is a show like U2 or Bruce Springsteen, check on Ticketmaster for the show you are interested in and it will tell you for sure.

Is there a lot of crime and racism in Alabama? -

I live in Detroit Michigan and want to move out of here because of the constant violence here and lack of jobs. I feel like i am living in a war zone. There is so much crime here in the state of Michigan especially in Detroit. You are not even safe in your own home anymore and you can t drive anything nice without someone trying to car jack you and shoot you for your vehicle. Although i know its crime everywhere and you really can t escape it, i would like to move someone place where it is not as bad.

If you go to city-data.com you can type in the name of any city or town, and it will give you complete info about population, crime, types of jobs, etc.Good luck. I hope you find a decent place to move to. :-)

noo dont go to alabama. go to Texas or California. theres crime and violence everywhere, but some places have a little less of it than others. Alabama sounds like a violent state.

I don t know about crime, but some people in Alabama are still racist. Racism is everywhere sadly, but Alabama is worse. Help?http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?

Alabama? It is one of the most notoriously racist states in the US.

i think you ll be fine

My buddies birth certificate from Alabama says n.e.g.r.o on it. What does that tell you?
