Carmel in California USA, what is there to see amp; do on a 3 day trip to Carmel? -
What are the best places to go in Utah? Colorado? Yellowstone? Idaho? -
I am going to suggest southern Utah and the north rim of the Grand Canyon. In southern Utah there are 5 national parks - each one very uniquely different and, in my opinion, 5 of the most spectacular parks in the entire US park system. Here is some information:http://www.utah.com/nationalparks/http://www.utahnationalparks.com/http://www.utahredrocks.com/North Rim Grand Canyon:http://www.nps.gov/grca/index.htmIf you decide to do this I would highly recommend trying to stay at the National Park Lodge. You have to make reservations many months in advance because it is so popular and highly sought after but the views are spectacular:Info: http://foreverlodging.com/lodging.cfm?PrHave fun on your trip!!
Have not been to Utah, Yellowstone, or Idaho-- but I live in Colorado!! Colorado is beautiful a great place to visit! I have been all over the US and I think Colorado is incredibly clean beautiful. The hiking is great! I would say you should visit Rocky Mountain National Park for hiking, and stay in the city of Estes Park. They have many cabin chains you can rent from, and many cabins have private jacuzzis! We have been many times. During the summer, you can visit a few wineries up there as well and they have some touristy shopping, too. However, my VERY FAVORITE place in Colorado is Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado. It s a hiking area and concert venue, with the concert area carved into the massive rocks. It s amazing and indescribable! It s is where my husband proposed to me, and it is simply magical to us. I would try and find a concert to go to there. Hope this helped
In my opinion Mt Rushmore isnt worth the trip. You go. You look. You take a photo. Go to the souvenier shop. Then you go. Yellowstone is awesome. One could spend a week there alone. The Rockies are very very high mountains. For the best time, you need togo through them from June-August. Because they are so high, some may be closed due to snow removal if you go in April. Land at Denver Colorado. Estes Park is a good place to stay. Its kind of touristy and has a mountain feel to it. http://www.coloradodirectory.com/maps/scLots of good links here.2 Highly recommended are Trail Ridge RdMT Evans. The highest paved road in the USIve spent the entire week vacation just in this area, many many timesAlso search some of these places on http://www.youtube.comIve sat and looked at the Rockies a lot on there. It helps if you use driving in the search.Like driving Estes Park etc It will be pictures of people on the road driving in the area It wont spoil a thing, there is no way you can capture the Rockies or Yellowstonein photos or videos. You can only experience itI see someone posted about Red Rocks. http://www.redrocksonline.com/Seeing a concert at Red Rocks ( just west of Denver a little bit) is probably one of the best venues to experience music.Ask more detailed questions once you get a more established plan. You ll learn a lot from us, that will help you

Living in Detroit you learn to deal with...? -
all the negativity outsiders have to say about the city and make them aware of the positive things about Detroit!
Living in Detroit you learn to deal withDepression/Saddness- Detroit is a very depressing city, too many people who are on poverty and suffering from hunger.Violence- it is a dangerous city.Safety- you have to know where to go, when to go and if you should go...you can be at the right place at the right time, and still get killed.Life- Detroit can teach you a thing or too about Life and all that it has to offer.
... frustration. It must be frustating to see all the corrupt politicians who couldn t care less about the city. Detroit is a beautiful city, it deserves better. Elect me to city council, and that will change : ) LOL.
