How much are current Cell Phone Tickets in NY? -

Just got a cell phone ticket.. Bam ...caught ...can t say I was not asking for it to be honest. I was on speaker phone of all things but I was holding the phone and they saw me. Another expensive lesson learned. Well I was just asking what are current fines because with their crummy surcharges and other b.s. it came out to $220. Just checking if thats about right.. Thanks and be careful out there.

Well, the charge is $100 plus there is a $60 surcharge, not to mention other charges involved. However, you can might be able to get out of a ticket if you can prove to the judge that since getting the ticket, you have gone out and purchased a hand-free phone or cell phone devise, such as a Bluetooth ear plug for your phone. Now, if you where texting while driving, well that s another $100 plus a $60 surcharge. In New York State the law on texting while at the wheel took effect last month.I hope this information is very helpful.Good luck

What is a cheap hotel near Leesburg, Florida? -

Thanks so much!

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

Wheres better to relocate, Victorville or Palmdale? -

If you must choose one....Palmdale.

neitherfirst of all you have the extreme temperatures; too damn hot in the summer, too damn cold in the wintersecondly a whole lot of low class people moved out to the desert communities due to the economic crisis, so you have a lot of gang problems, low class dirty people with their loud music, cars on the front lawn, trash all over the place, schools went BAD, violence, etcbasically it s not what it use to be, otherwise I would have recommended Palmdale, it USE to be a beautiful, quiet place to live inI m just being honest, and anyone who grew up in either place and has seen how the quality of life has declined dramatically would agree.

Interesting. Both cities have a California State Prison located nearby. Is that where your boo is incarcerated? Both are in the middle of nowhere. If I had to choose between the two I would choose Victorville. It s not in Los Angeles County so the tax rates there are slightly lower, but since you re still in school that probably doesn t interest you. Flip a coin, then find yourself a boyfriend that isn t a convicted felon..

i would chose palmdalebecause you can get to Los angelesusing public transitif you were in victorville there is no transit to San Bernaidno

I would choose neither but if I had to, I would choose Palmdale.

Plmdale of course, The gateway to Boron. Life doesn t get any better than that ;)

Missed Tolls in Oklahoma (Travelling from IL to TX)? -

Hi,I was travelling from IL to TX a few days ago and missed what I believe were 2 tolls in OK.The first one I didn t have change, I went into the cash lane, but it said No attendant on duty right now, pay the coin machine . Is it my fault if there was no attendant and I didn t have exact cash, and obviously didn t have the state s autopass equivalent because im not from the state? They should have put up a no attendant sign that was visible before I entered the toll lane. I had to just go through, and it made some loud siren sounds. Its not my fault, but im willing to pay it anyway. Will they just mail me?I also believe I went through a toll plaza without knowing it was a toll plaza, so theres likely a missed toll there too (also in OK)Cheers

yes you will get a bill in the mail it will be 4 times the toll so if the toll is 5 dollars it will be 20 dollars good luck

You should call the Oklahoma Transportation Authority and tell them the situation, and ask how you can take care of it. If you don t, when you get in the mail will likely be two $90 fines for failure to pay the toll.Liberty: It s quite conceivable to miss paying twice, since that itinerary would take the questioner through at least two turnpikes (the Will Rogers and the Turner), and maybe a third (the Creek).

oopsie...would depend if they are high tech enough to have a camera which takes photo of your license plate. If so, you can expect a bill in the mail, but if not...you are off the hook.I had a rental car from O Hare to Naperville last year...accidentally missed a toll....got a bill in the mail...never paid it, never heard anything more about it either!

Since Oklohoma is a turnpike toll system (you only pay when you leave the tollway), I am not sure how you missed paying twice.

Should i drive though Kansas or Nebraska to get to Colorado? -

Okay so I m going to a town just outside Fort Collins is it faster to go through kansas or nebraska? i live in mid missouri

Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma or in a coma, what s the difference?

See site blow for route that takes the shortest time. I used Jefferson City as starting point, since a specific city is needed for the map. You can use edit to change that to your city if you like. I have driven most of that route from Mo to Co many times and used I-70.

Where can I find homes for rent in Cedar Rapids, Iowa? -

I m moving to Cedar Rapids and am looking for homes in the 600-750/month price range. Is there a good place to find these? Is there a place where there are just apartments listed as well (preferable online)? Any help is appreciated.

I would check the local paper:http://classifiedresults.com/real-estate
