Taxi Services in Chicago, IL? -

Okay, excuse my ignorance because being from the Detroit area, aka The Motor City , my experience with taxi services is very limited. So my question is, how do I use a taxi service in Chicago if my 18-month-old is still in a car seat? Also, are there taxi services that can accommodate my family of five? Finally, about how much would the cab fare be for a 5 mile/14 minute drive (according to yahoo maps)?THANK YOU!

You might want to take the train. Check out this:

cabs are pricey. specially since you want a van, but i recommend public transportation, whether it s bus or train. it is truly your best bet. 2 dollars per person and the baby is free and any other child under 5-6also it s a 14 min drive in NO traffic, your lucky if you can get 3 blks some times in 14 mins

Do you have to pay for a ticket to hang out in Downtown Atlanta for New Years Eve? -

I want to go there for New years, And was wondering if it was free or reaquired a ticket

There s no charge just to hang out in the city in general, but be prepared to pay a lot for parking. I highly recommend taking MARTA, our train system, downtown or paying extra for a cab.Lots of clubs in the city are having great parties, but they ll cost you $50 and up.

not really unless you are catching the MARTA.

Where is there an affordable place to dump tree branches near Aurora Colorado? -

We are wanting to dump a Suburbans load of tree branches we have pruned. I called the landfill near us called Bads. They will charge us 35.00 to dump them. Anyone know of a more affordable, yet legal place to dump them? Thanks in advance.

Check out this website and see if you can find anything more out...I wasn t sure which county aurora is in, sorry!http://www.recycling-guide.com/searchfol

What you need to find is someone with a chipper who can chip the wood into mulch. If you don t find a recycle, put an ad on CraigsList and see if anyone has a chipper who would let you use it for part of the mulch.

Renting a house next to the canals in venice LA? -

Whats it like? is it a good place for someone in there 20s to stay (partying)? how much would it cost a month (would be looking to stay with 1 or more people)? is it easy to get work (in shops, bars, resturaunts etc)?cheers!

Some current rentals by the canals, they have very strict occupancy terms, no houses full of people. 500 sq ft 1/1 = $2300 2700 sq ft 3/3 = $70002700 sq ft 3/3 = $95002300 sq ft 3/3 = $97503000 sq ft 4/4 = $10,0002900 sq ft 3/2.5 = $11,000You have to realize that property is so expensive in the good areas of Venice, think 1 mil+ for a tiny home on a tiny lot, so rentals are going to be expensive to pay the mortgage, etc costs. Nope, it s not easy to get work, there are tons of local people out of work looking, especially in those areas like Venice where the people tend to be in industries that laid off a lot of people. People aren t eating out or going to bars, so it s hard to get a server or bartender job. Venice is interesting, close enough to things to do in the beach area, and close enough to the Sunset Strip, etc if you don t mind driving. Hopefully the economy will get better in the next year or so. Good luck!

no, its expensive and they have way more than enough of people there. everybody thinks they can move there and find work. they dont need any more immigrants. thanks

They are EXPENSIVE!And no, it s not easy to get a job here.
