Is Disneyland haunted? -

I ve read things on the internet about Disneyland being haunted does anybody know is this is true?

Just the Haunted Mansion.

Gee, I ve read things on the Internet about needles in theater seats and UFO s. It doesn t make them true. Basically, it s bunk. People with vivid imaginations and too much time on their hands. The only place that s haunted is the Haunted Mansion. 999 happy haunts. Care to make it 1000? If you lag behind, you may not have a choice! LOL

Wow. What s with all these is so-so haunted? Ghosts terrorizing people is FAKE!! There is no such thing as anything being haunted! That s how ghost chasers make money!

oh god another stupid disneyland questionGET A F*****ING LIFE

Lmao if it was haunted it wouldn t be The Happiest place in the world would it?Disneyland is not haunted.

It has a haunted mansion but the ghosts are special effects.

IF it ain t it should be.

Wheres A Las Vegas Anthem At? -

I ve heard Jay-Z s Empire State of Mind and it got me wondering, where s Las Vegas anthem at?

I live here. Take Eastern Avenue south till it ends and you will be here. Nice place. REal nice place.

Athem is a planned community development in Henderson, not Las Vegas. It includes several housing developments, a golf course, and at least two age restricted Sun City developments. Henderson is south of Las Vegas, on the way to Boulder City/Hoover Dam, about 25 miles away from Vegas

Anthem is a housing development built by Del Webb. It is a gated golf course community located on the south end of the valley. It is at the southernmost end of Eastern Ave. just east of 7 Hills.

Best PA Pocono Cabin Rentals? -

I am searching for a cabin to sleep 3 adults comfortably, in the PA Pocono Mountain area. I am looking for a place that does nightly/weekend rentals. I am also looking for a private house, possibly with amenities that anyone would recommend. Thanks!

Renting a house or a cabin would be a great idea, and there are a lot of choices for rentals in the PA area. It s best to do your homework and use online research to find available places to stay that fit within your budget.Rather than give you a specific property name and location, I would suggest that you do some research on the available houses/condos, the prices and the locations. I have used justvr.com for vacation rentals in the past and it was quite helpful for narrowing down my choices and booking a few nights stay.

The Poconos have slowly become exurbs of New York City, so many of the natural things of the past are long gone. However, there are still a few places west of the touristy areas where you can still rent cabins. Try Split Rock although there are a few others near Lake Harmony.

Does Downtown Disney (Orlando) do anything in December for christmas? -

My girlfriend and I were going to go to Mickey s Very Merry Christmas Party but it is a little pricey so I was wondering if Downtown Disney does anything similar?

Sometimes there s choirs singing across from the World of Disney in the Marketplace area of Downtown Disney. Santa s there too. It s very festive there, but nothing like MVMCP.http://allears.net/tp/holiday.htm#ddhttp://disneyworld.disney.go.com/destina

downtown disney is just an area with shops and restaurants. it will not be like mickey s very merry christmas party in any way. there are no parades, no fireworks, no holiday shows, no snow, no free hot chocolate and cookies, no dance parties with characters. downtown disney does put up christmas decorations and lights but thats all.i ve been to the mickey s very merry chrsitmas party and it is worth the money!

What is best and cheapest transporation to get from cincinnati to la? -

this coming year i want to be able to move la to start my acting career. so I would like some information.

Agreed. Find a good airfare sale. In many cases, it s cheaper than bus, car, or train. BUT:Most people who ask this question are unprepared, unrealistic, with no money, no experience, no skills, (no visa), and no plan.If you are outside the United States, you will need a visa. The nice folks in the immigration forum can help you with that.Next, you need a plan: First item on the agenda is rent. A decent 1BR apartment in LA currently goes for $1200, give or take. Nicer areas and areas closer to the beach are much higher. Don t expect to move to Santa Monica and get an apartment on the beach for that much. Or Toluca Lake, or Beverly Hills. Next, you will need a car. Los Angeles is VERY spread out, and train service is extremely limited. If you don t have a car, you will have to take a bus, which takes 3 times longer to get anywhere than a car. All told, it generally takes about $3,000 per month to live here. If you don t have a job that pays that much or skills that can get you that kind of job, stay where you are. If you are unskilled and work for minimum wage (or for tips like bartending or waiting tables), you ll only make about $1200 per month. And speaking of jobs, they are rather hard to come by now. College grads seeking employment are having a very tough time of it right now, since the job market is flooded with experienced people who were laid off. Unemployment is over 12% right now. Not exactly the kind of job market you want to move into. Finally, you will need money. Landlords want first month s rent and a security deposit up front. You ll need money for food, transportation, utilities, etc. The consensus in this forum is that you need about $7500 to start out.So there s your plan. And please don t tell us that you have dreams of being an actor or singer. That sets off another alarm. We already have a million (literally) wannabe actors in this town. Dont even get me started.

Compare fares at www.greyhound.com, www.amtrak.com, and any of the air travel websites that you may care to try. But expect to see at least 10,000 people at every audition you go to.

Discounted plane tickets.

SEAT NUMBERING AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN? -

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew the seat numbering system at Madison Square Garden? I just bought these tickets to a hockey game and I need to know the exact location. They are located in section 206 (center) - seats 1 and 2. Does seat numbering start from left to right or right to left according to the chart? Are my seats closer to section 205 or 207? Thanks for replying!

go online to madisonsquaregarden.com and click on the seating plan.

What do New Yorkers do on Christmas Eve? -

I ll be in NYC for the holidays!!!Thank you for your time.

It depends on the person; if you asked me to list what every New Yorker did on Christmas Eve, I d be a dead man by the time I found the answer. A lot of people go to church on Christmas Eve. A lot of people spend the day at home with their families, cooking ham dinners and baking Christmas cookies. A lot of people do some last minute Christmas shopping. A lot of people go to visit relatives. People are pretty much doing everything in the city on Christmas Eve, from night to day.Since you are coming to New York City for the holidays, I ll give you some suggestions and links for some things that you should do during your stay. Of course, this all depends on how long you will be staying in the city. A visit to New Yorkduring Christmas time would not be a trip to New York City during Christmas time without a trip to Rockefeller center to visit the big tree. You most likely will be missing the lightning, as it is on the second of December, but between then and January seventh, the tree will be up, so I strongly suggest going out there to check out the tree. Rockefeller is between 47th and 50th Streets and 5th and 7th Avenues. I would also suggest seeing the Nutcracker , which is a Christmas-themed ballet. It s a magical performance, and it s a fun family ballet, and I would suggest that as well. Also check out SoHo and Canal Street for some fantastic shopping. There are some great miscellaneous items you can find around there, and there is almost everything that you could want and need for the holidays. the Nutcracker ballet information:http://www.nutcrackerballet.net/ Top 10 Things To Do in NYC For The Christmas Holiday http://travelingmamas.com/2008/12/02/top Things to do in New York City at Christmastime http://www.onboardnewyorktours.com/chris How to Enjoy Christmas in New York http://www.associatedcontent.com/articleAll the best ?

we spend time with family and friends at home. It gets pretty quite on the streets that night. As for you...If you want to be outdoors, go see the Christmas tree, go Ice skating, eat in a place around there, go to Macy s (inside or just outside of it to see the displays), watch a broadway show, radio city christmas show or whichever one you like, madison square garden, 5th ave, central park, Just being in Nyc will put you in a christmas spirit. Then hot chocolate with some fresh cookies would be even better.

They spend time with friends/family.....like all the other people in the country! Its the one time of the year I visit Staten Island. o_0I mean, if you wanna be really touristy, you can go ice skating at Radio City like Holden Caulfield.

Most go back to Jersey.

How to get from Custom Hotel (Lincoln/Manchester) to Galen Center (USC) using public transportation? -

I could also get to LAX for free if it is easier to go to USC from LAX.

Yes, that information is correct about which bus routes to take. If you re like me you might want to see some maps and schedules. If you check the schedules you might be able to take the #115 from right Manchester and Lincoln, instead of taking the Santa Monica #3 to Manchester and Sepulveda first to catch the #115. This could save you time and trouble. For all maps, timetables, and a trip planner:http://www.metro.net/index.aspmap and schedule for line 81http://www.metro.net/riding_metro/bus_ovmap and schedule for line 115http://www.metro.net/riding_metro/bus_ovLine #3 Santa Monicahttp://www.bigbluebus.com/busroutes/schehttp://www.bigbluebus.com/busroutes/map/http://www.bigbluebus.com/busroutes/sche

you can take the 115 note this bus runs every hourto manchester and figeoura then change to line 81 which goes by USCcost will be $1.25 on each per busor you could take the Santa Monica #3 to Manchester and sepulvedathen transfer to 115 (from here the 115 runs every 15 -30 mins)to figeroua and manchesterhere you would have to pay $1.25 (that 75cents and 50 cents for a transfer to MTAbut you will still have pay another $1.25 on the 81

I need to get my NYS license/ID, but I dont have utility bills since I rent a basement apt.? -

It seems like such a pain. I need my NYS for several reasons, including financial aid for my 24k/year college (nursing school). I have been here for just under 3 years and worked as well. But it seems they want utility bills. Thing is, I have always rented from someone, and they pay the utilities. How do I get around this? Also, is getting your NYS ID a whole day process? I feel like I m going to be there for an entire day..eek.

Since the electricity is included in the rent, and you don t pay for it, may I recommend taking your cable or satellite bill to the DMV. They both can be use as proof of address. You can also take your telephone bill, if you have a private landline, or your cell phone bill to the DMV and use it as proof of address. If this is your first time going to the DMV, my advise is don t to go to the one near your home. They usually have long and lines and long waits, specially in the middle of the week and on Friday. I would recommend going to the one in Manhattan, which is located inside the Herald Center at 34th Street and Broadway (right across from Macy s). The folks there will process your application quikly. The DMV in the Herald Center is on the 8th floor of the building. To make it even easier for you, I ve included a copy of the DMV application of driver s license/ID at the link below. Please note, this a PDF files.http://www.nydmv.state.ny.us/forms/mv44.I hope this information is very helpful.Good luck

I m a Texan, but here, as long as you have the required documens, it only takes a few minutes to actually get the ID. It s the waiting in line that can sometimes be a problem.I found this NY DMV page that indicates that other things are acceptable as proof of residence. Among them are College Student ID with a transcript and bills that you regularly receive at your residence such as cellular phone or credit card bills or bank statements. Check it out here:http://www.nydmv.state.ny.us/forms/id44e

Did anyone get accepted to University of Michigan-Ann Arbor yet with a 27 ACT for 2010? -

According to Kaplans Newsweek How To Get Into College 2009 average ACT score for UM is 27-30.

Go to the school s web site and find the current freshman class statistics, which with almost all schools will show the average and ranges of test scores and class ranks or percentiles.
