I ll be in NYC for the holidays!!!Thank you for your time.
It depends on the person; if you asked me to list what every New Yorker did on Christmas Eve, I d be a dead man by the time I found the answer. A lot of people go to church on Christmas Eve. A lot of people spend the day at home with their families, cooking ham dinners and baking Christmas cookies. A lot of people do some last minute Christmas shopping. A lot of people go to visit relatives. People are pretty much doing everything in the city on Christmas Eve, from night to day.Since you are coming to New York City for the holidays, I ll give you some suggestions and links for some things that you should do during your stay. Of course, this all depends on how long you will be staying in the city. A visit to New Yorkduring Christmas time would not be a trip to New York City during Christmas time without a trip to Rockefeller center to visit the big tree. You most likely will be missing the lightning, as it is on the second of December, but between then and January seventh, the tree will be up, so I strongly suggest going out there to check out the tree. Rockefeller is between 47th and 50th Streets and 5th and 7th Avenues. I would also suggest seeing the Nutcracker , which is a Christmas-themed ballet. It s a magical performance, and it s a fun family ballet, and I would suggest that as well. Also check out SoHo and Canal Street for some fantastic shopping. There are some great miscellaneous items you can find around there, and there is almost everything that you could want and need for the holidays. the Nutcracker ballet information:http://www.nutcrackerballet.net/ Top 10 Things To Do in NYC For The Christmas Holiday http://travelingmamas.com/2008/12/02/top Things to do in New York City at Christmastime http://www.onboardnewyorktours.com/chris How to Enjoy Christmas in New York http://www.associatedcontent.com/articleAll the best ?

we spend time with family and friends at home. It gets pretty quite on the streets that night. As for you...If you want to be outdoors, go see the Christmas tree, go Ice skating, eat in a place around there, go to Macy s (inside or just outside of it to see the displays), watch a broadway show, radio city christmas show or whichever one you like, madison square garden, 5th ave, central park, Just being in Nyc will put you in a christmas spirit. Then hot chocolate with some fresh cookies would be even better.
They spend time with friends/family.....like all the other people in the country! Its the one time of the year I visit Staten Island. o_0I mean, if you wanna be really touristy, you can go ice skating at Radio City like Holden Caulfield.
Most go back to Jersey.
