Yes verizon service gets service almost anywhere. I think verizon is great and would t change to anything else.

brook, the hotels in las vegas have good cell phone reception. i,ve been there manytimes, including circus circus and had no problems.

I have Verizon and there was no place In Vegas where it did not work, except for one area in the middle of the casino at the Wynn.*

No, not really. Door County has been built up so much that the city lights would cancel them out that far south. The furthest south I have seen them is in the U.P. of Michigan near Lake Superior.
