Why not call and ask them? Or, talk with your guidance counselor at school - he/she would need to get you the work papers you d need, anyway. I doubt, however, that 14-year-olds can work at all, and especially not in a place where they d be around hot oil, grills, etc.BTW - This is not a travel question.

Whats the first thing I should do in San Jose? -
Go to Santana Row. Its a kinda high class shopping district with plenty of restaurants. There s also Valley Fair mall across the street for the slightly more budget-conscious shopper. There s also the Great Mall in Milpitas.San Francisco is less than an hour away with lotsa stuff to do.If you like to go hiking or walking, there are alota trails and parks in the foothills and nearby Santa Cruz mountains with alota cool views. The Boardwalk in Santa Cruz is only a half hour away, but you have to see when its open (its a seasonal thing as far as hours go). There is also a long paved bike trail that goes through alot of SanJose and nearby cities (it follows a creek most of the way). There is also the Capitol Drive In, which is the only left in the bay area.=)
Get a good map. I recommend the Thomas Brother s Guide. The Santa Clara County edition is VERY good for getting around San Jose and it s environs, from Morgan Hill to Palo Alto, from Milpitas to the Santa Cruz mountains. The the Bay Area Metro edition is good for learning the entire San Francisco Bay Area, but, leaves out some of the outskirts of some countines and parts of San Jose.It s not a complex freeway system, but, because San Jose is such a spread out city (about twenty miles wide and thirty miles long), it is best to learn the freeway system and as many of the interchanges, off and on ramps as you can, begining with those nearest your home and work. With the guide, you can find all of the city s large shopping malls, theater complexes, hospitals, transit systems, parks, landmarks and such. With a little practice and a few hours driving time, you ll be navigating like a native in short order.I used to train taxicab drivers in this city and I can tell you that I can use the Thomas Guide map book to find, virtually any address or landmark a lot faster than any online mapping site.
Go to San Francisco. Seriously - get used to going to SF once a week. Will take several years until you have seen the good stuff.Fun Things to do in San Francisco - http://www.tripcart.com/usa-regions/Cent

What to do in New York for my sisters 30th?!? -
people born in 1980 are tuning 30? Wtf!!
Can t tell you about partying, but if a play is your thing, you can get discounted, same-day tickets for many plays at Father Duffy Square on Broadway and 47th Street. (You ll see the huge TKTS sign.)Dining varies tremendously based on your budget, area in the city, cuisine, etc. This web site will help you narrow it down for your plans: http://www.menupages.com/One of my favorite restaurants is the Le Veau d Or at 129 E. 60th Street. For shopping, you can hit all the high-end stores on Fifth and Madison Avenues, or head down to SoHo and Greenwich Village (lots of little streets, not following the midtown gird) for a wide array of boutiques and odd shops. (THere are also a lot of excellent restaurants and clubs in that area.)Enjoy.
