How much spending money do you need for two in Maui? -

My bf and I are going to Maui in January and are planning on snorkeling, driving the Hana hwy, going to a luau and maybe going to the crater. We are staying at the whaler so we plan on stopping at costco to get groceries do you have to have a membership to shop there? Will 2000 dollars be enough?

Yes, you need a membership to shop at Costco. It might be worth the $50 though as food and gas are very expensive here in Hawaii. Both are cheaper at Costco.$2K sounds like plenty for a week. I think you ll be fine.

Magic Kingdoms Fantasyland refurbishment? -

Hi, guys...just wondering what the time frame will be for the new refurbishment...We live clear across the country so we don t get to do WDW all that often...so I wanted to get a ballpark estimate of when the start and finish date will be. Thanks!

They are breaking ground sometime next year. There are two phases that will be opening at separate times: An new area based on the Disney Princesses is expected to open in 2012, then a new area based on Pixie Hollow is expected to open in 2013.

Sometime in 2010 they will be closing ToonTown Fair as part of the refurbishment. They re supposed to be finished in 2013...I couldn t find a lot of details.

Just beware that WDW s Magic Kingdom is not like Cali s Disneyland. For starters, they dont have Pirates of the Carribean or the Matterhorn.Their It s a Small World is actually small.Plus, you can go inside their castle there- don t miss that breakfast, by the way, if you can get it, it s always sold out in advance. (Cinderella s buffet i think is what it s called)

Are there any caves in or around st. petersburg fl? -

hey im originally from alabama and i like caving im in the coast guard and im stationed here in st. pete so i anyone knows of any caves around can yall help

There are some underwater caves in the Gulf of Mexico around Weeki Wachee.

St pete is pretty close to being at sea level most houses in the area don t even have basements because of the water table. If you don t believe me just go outside and dig a hole in the sand and stop when you hit water. Won t take long.

there are some underwater caves! CAVE DIVING IN THIS AREA IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS EVEN LIFE THREATENING! DO NOT DIVE UNLESS YOU ARE A CERTIFIED CAVE DIVER!! http://www.tampabay.com/news/publicsafet

Turnpike toll road payment method? -

uuuhhh.. dont call me stupid or anything, i ve lived in oregon my whole life where theres no such thing as a toll road. anyway, i have no idea how these things work.do i need to pay with cash? or can i pay with debit?plus 1 internets for the first helpful answer, thanks

Tolls are one of the few things I don t use my credit card for. Use cash or EZ Pass, otherwise you re going to be waiting forever to sign a receipt and simultaneously pissing off everyone waiting behind you.

It is very simple, when you get on the turnpike PA76 You will receive a ticket. On the ticket will be a whole bunch of different exit numbers and locations with a dollar amount beside them. When you get off at which ever exit you pay the amount that is marked for the exit to the cashier at the toll booth. If you are traveling long distances there are several rest stops, some have food and gas and others just have bathrooms and a place to stretch. You don t have to pay to get off at any of these stops. Make sure that you dont loose your ticket because if you do you will pay the maximum amount for the exit witch is sort of expensive. Last time I checked it costs under 15 dollars to cross the entire state so it isn t terribly expensive.

There are two ways to pay tolls. One is with cash. The other is with EZ Pass. You set up an account with one of the various state agencies which you replenish with either a credit or debit card or sending a check. Each state from Virginia north and Illinois east that has toll roads has an agency that issues an EZ Pass. Since this is in the Philly section, the PA Turnpike, the NJ Turnpike, and DelDot all issue their own EZ Pass which you can use anywhere they accept EZ Pass. And PS. There is at least one toll road in Oregon, because the Hood River Bridge has a toll.

you don t use a debit or credit card. you can either pay with cash or in some places you can set up an account in the new york area it is called E Z Pass then you get a thing to put on your windshiel and every time you go through it charges your account

How and where can I meet people in Tempe? -

I am more then 2000 miles away from everything I have ever known and I am looking to hang out. I just left a place where I have lived for 16 years. I left my family, my friends, and my job to have a great adventure. I had been doing the same thing for so long it was just time to do something new. I still love my family, and friends but I knew it was time for something different. I am in my mid 20 s relatively clean cut good guy. I am respectful, honest, caring, hard working, supportive and just a real good guy. Some of my interest I enjoy are traveling, camping, fishing, kayaking, dancing, hiking, biking, listening to live music, and having a good conversation. So I think I am a pretty good guy. The problem is my adventure is not turning into an adventure at all. I am struggling with knowing exactly how I meet people.

Well, you sure have come a long way. No doubt, the absolute greatest place is Mill Avenue. Quirky shops, bookstores, sidewalk bands, cafes, and so on. It shouldn t be that difficult to strike up a conversation with somebody make small talk around any of these places. In my opinion, if you ve come this far to have an adventure then you might just consider traveling across the many beautiful and unique places across Arizona. Like the Grand Canyon, Sedona s red rocks and many supernatural-themed shops, Prescott s Whiskey Row, Jerome s art scene, Fountain Hills (what used to be the world s tallest fountain), the London Bridge, and much more.

What should we do with one day in New York city at christmastime? -

We only have one day and not overnight in New York. Any suggestions on what we should do? Restaurant suggestions would also be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

This article summarizes the nicest things to see in New York at Christmas:http://www.associatedcontent.com/articleNew York City is loaded with excellent places to eat at fair prices. Charlie Mom s on Avenue of the Americas at 12th Street, and Cowgirl Hall of Fame at 519 Hudson are two very inexpensive places with excellent food. These two are near the ladies mile area that runs along 6th avenue (also known as Avenue of the Americas) from 14th to 23rd and has the cheapest shopping in the city.Ollies Noodle shop, near Lincoln Center is also nice and dirt cheap, though very busy.Another way to save money is to use any of the chain resturuants that offer a variety of deals, here is a guide to restaurants that offer discount dining, some of which are fine dining:http://www.associatedcontent.com/article

Well, there are lot of thing to see in NYC at Christmas, including the Rockefeller Center Chiristmas Tree and the window displays at the large department stores. In regards to place to eat in New York City. There are thousands of restaurants in the Five Boroughs of New York City. Depending on your taste, your budget and your preferred location, may I recommend the link below.http://www.menupages.com/ -- MenuPages.com is the one of the best website on the online. It included menus with prices, as well as restaurant reviews.Good luck and Bon appetit!

Absolutely see the tree in Rockefeller Center. If you have time, take in a performance of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, which is right there by the tree, or the Nutcracker ballet, which is at Lincoln Center. (Believe me, this is not what you might think a ballet is all about--the scenery and costumes are amazing!) Check out the store windows, and Macy s in Herald Square is quite something to see inside. Go up to Santa Land, just to see it. If you want to go all out, dinner at Tavern on the Green at Christmas time is spectacular. For something a bit different, the Spanish Tavern near Penn Station is reasonable and has great food--and plenty of it! You really can t go wrong in NYC at Christmas. Have fun!

Hit Rockefeller Center, where you can go ice skating, travel to the top of the GE building to see the city from very high up (the Nintendo Store is near the Center if you have small kids) then walk up 5th Ave to see all the decorated stores up to Central Park. To your right there is FAO Schwartz, a huge toys store with a lot to see, including the huge piano from the movie Big that you play with your legs!

Well, you should do stuff unique to NY that more people from out of town don t do...go sample sale shopping...http://nymag.com/shopping/articles/sb/Or go for free ice skating at Bryant Park...rental skates will cost you.and then finally go to Mars2112 for a theme dinner...aliens and a free space ride...Yes, go watch the window displays also...Saks, Macy s, Bloomingdales, Bendels...Never run out of things to do!

Go buy roasted chestnuts from the vendors outside of Madison Square Garden and start singing the Bing Crosby classic roasted chestnut on an open fire.... I m sure a few strangers might join in.

See a Broadway play and have lunch or an early dinner at Sardi s Restaurant.

have a day trip around New York with close freinds

Anyone that lives in or near st augustine florida? -

how much is it to stay one night in the casa monica hotel?? please and thank you :)

I had a friend who stayed there one night. She said it was about $300 that included chocolate covered strawberries and a comfy bed.It depends on what season you are going in. She went between spring/summer so it costs more during that time. Why won t you check out their website or expedia.com?

why would you think people that live right there know how much it costs? they live in the area and have no need to stay the night in a hotel. one night stays start at about $194 per night and depending on what package you d like and how many people are staying the price rises accordingly. here is the website:http://www.casamonica.com/
