What is the official name of the trapeze hang glider through the forest? -

I saw on tv once something like a trapeze you glide through the forest on. In planning for my upcoming honeymoon I want to find a destination location that has this. Does anyone know what the official name of this is called so I could easily look it up?

It s called a zipline. I know that San Diego s Wildlife Animal Park has a zipline.

Nice,cheap LA hotels? -

I need a super cheap hotel for 3 days in the middle of all the action. lolis that possible.something nice of course, no grungy nasty hotels.

Remember this rule about hotels / motels. If they re nice they aren t cheap, and if they re cheap, they aren t nice. Accommodations in the middle of the action will be popular and usually in demand, so there is no reason to offer a discount. The rent is whatever the traffic will bare. One problem you may have is that most hotels require the renter to be at least 21 (unchaperoned teens tend to make noise, and damage the rooms). Almost all will also require a credit card.

We see this every day in this forum: Everyone who wants to visit here is looking for cheap/affordable and safe . However, such a place just doesnt exist; the two terms are mutually exclusive. It s all about supply and demand: If it s in SoCal, then it s not going to be cheap to begin with. If it s a safe area, then it s more expensive. And what sort of action are you looking for?Since LA is so spread out, there is no single place that is close to EVERYTHING. Most people who come here tend to stay in Hollywood, Santa Monica, or Anaheim. In Hollywood, I recommend the Orchid Suites, Hollywood Celebrity Hotel, or Holiday Inn Walk of Fame, all near Hollywood and Highland. Another one is the Best Western Sunset Plaza. In Santa Monica, the Holiday Inn Santa Monica is close to the pier and reasonably priced. In Anaheim, I recommend the Howard Johnson (HoJo) Anaheim, and the Candy Cane Inn. There is also a nice place in Burbank called the Best Western Media Center, very close to Warner, NBC, and Universal Studios.

STAY hotel is in downtown. Its a really neat mix of a hostel and a hotel. This is really cheap and clean, I was really surprise. Google STAY in LA and see the pictures by yourself, I was really surprise how cheap it wasfor the quality. It is on main street in downtown, walking distance from most places in downtown, great clubs around the corner. Few blocks away is a really sketchy, but you ll have to get use to it.Its definitely a little better than what you will pay for.STAY HOTEL IN LOS ANGELES

Super cheap usually means grungy nasty hotels.Plus, the action is within a 50 mile radius so you kind of have to be specific as to where. Also, it s December. The hotels are going to be REALLY EXPENSIVE because many people want to come to LA at this time of the year. And, you have to be 18+ anyway.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

*~*disneyland tickets and hotels?*~*? -

*~*~*~*We Need the best place to buy tickets and a good hotel for 2 nights and 3days....We are planning on Disneyland next week November 23-25 for my daughter s 7th b-day on the 28th. We will be driving. Are there any hotels that offer a package with tickets to the park? Also, suggestions for a kid-friendly hotel?Looking to pay no more than $100/night. Oh,and we are bringing our 6 and 2 year old. Are 2 yr old free admission?*~*~*~*~*~*if you or anyone you know works there and can help us out that would be great!!!!*~*~*~*

Sorry this is late! I was that age when I first when to Disneyland! It will be so magical for her. For a special birthday treat I would definitely do Ariel s Grotto at California Adventures! She will get to meet Ariel, and other Disney Princesses. Last fall when I went, Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Belle were there. Yes, it is pricey, but the look on her face when she meets her favorite princess is priceless.

Nothing around Disneyland is really that good in terms of pricing. My advice is to pay a little more and stay at the Disneyland Hotel. It s super kid friendly, and really convenient to Downtown Disney (where all the restaurants and shops are), Disneyland, and California Adventure. I m not trying to spend your money for you, but I ve stayed in that hotel and I ve stayed a few miles away and honestly, it s not that much more expensive to stay at Disneyland and it s so much better.

No such thing.Just rent a hotel near Disneyland. It s more cheaper that way.

Hi Jay,Under $100 per night and kid-friendly? Try Fantasyland! Sure, there are hotels close to Disneyland for that much, but they aren t much more than a bed and a bathroom (and there s a pretty good chance of bedbugs). The key to going to Disneyland with crumb crunchers is to stay CLOSE. Even a shuttle ride back to the hotel wastes an hour. This way, you can go to the park first thing in the morning, then go back to the hotel for an hour or two for a nap.I always recommend the Howard Johnson (HoJo) and the Candy Cane Inn. While some hotels are closer, these two are very close to the front entrance, so you can walk back to the hotel for a swim or a nap in the afternoon. They are a step above the other hotels in the immediate area in terms of rooms, service, pool, and value. The HoJo recently added a themed pool, the only one outside the Disneyland Resort property.I just saw the HoJo for $129. Don t forget the swimsuits. The pool is heated. The closest really cheap hotel is the Super 8 on Disneyland Drive (at Ball Rd). Nothing fancy,, just a room. Check out the location below:http://www.galttech.com/research/travel/ As for tickets, you can just purchase them online at disneyland.com or funex.com.

What should I wear for New Years 2010 in Denver? -

I plan on staying up there from the 30th to the 2nd. I m trying to repack so that I dont forget some of the clothes Im going to need while my stay...I saw here tha Im going to need layers so other than layers of sweaters and jackets, what else do I need to pack to survive outthere during New Years?

We love down vests, kicking cowboy boots, thermal gloves, and a warm hat. It s been REALLY cold here lately, but when it s even in the 30 s during the day it can easily get into the teens at night. So yeah go for warm!

under armour is good for under your clothesits been cold here and it will be cold this whole winter so dress really warmGloves: sweaters and suchjeans with under armour is good that what youll pretty much need

If you plan on wearing and dresses or skirts, then maybe you should pack some tights or leggings too. Thick socks are always good too. Also, pack Gloves, hats, and scarves.

All age drag shows in Houston, Tx.? -

My mom and I love gay people. (: We were talking the other night and decided we should go to a drag show together somewhere in the near future. I am having trouble finding all age drag shows and even DRAG SHOWS.! so that s where you come in, thank you so muuuch!

search gay bars.It s houston, so there will never be a drag show like the LGBT parade or Bay to Breakers in San Francisco. Those include nudists too. (i have pictures with them)Houston won t even approve a topless swimming pool, unless it s a private pool.

how old are you? the reason I asked your age is because there are several gay clubs that have their own drag shows but you have to be 18 (21 in some cases) to get into the clubs.

I don t know of anything that is all ages but try EJ s.http://www.ejsbar.com/

Try San Francisco
