How many museums are in chicago? -

Whats the Number of museums in chicago

Impressive list, but incomplete. Blues Heaven Foundation is on the premises of Chess Studios where so much great music was recorded by so many legends like Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf, Buddy Guy, Etta James, the Rolling Stones, Willie Dixon, Johnnie Johnson, Otis Spann...It is not a big museum, but I felt incredible just standing inside the studio. Watch the film presentation about the history of the place. You will learn stuff. I did and I knew more than the average person going in. Go to Chinatown down the block, just the other side of the brown line, for lunch or dinner.

Where do u go to school and what city and state is it in? -

i go to tjhs which is thomas jefferson high school and its in Denver Colorado united states

I don t go to school

Omg... you are actually telling people this stuff? Don t give out personal information to people you don t know! Especially online!

I just worked for a lady out of craiglist in portland oregon now she doesnt want to pay me? -

if I go to small claims in portland oregon how much will it cost

Has she told you she refuses to pay? Maybe she doesn t think you have finished? Ask her what it would take to get her to pay.Did you fail to perform your end of the deal? Did you already agree that she didn t have to pay? If so, don t attempt using the legal system. Try some of these alternatives: http://research.lawyers.com/Oregon/OR-AlAs long as the amount in question is less than $7,500, small claims might be suitable. First you have to try to collect the amount due. Do that in writingseveral times, and document it well. For small claims, a lawyer can advise and prepare your casebut he or she cannot appear in court. The fees vary depending on which county the work was performed in, but will be around $75 or $100 to file the case, and $30 to $50 for giving notice to the defendant.

That s surprising. Craigslist is one of the most reputable, if not THE MOST reputable, social network site on the web. I m shocked as much as you are.

oh

go to your county website they have all the info

you should just smack her and take ur money

One day in Washington - Any suggestions? -

Dear friends, my husband and I are going to spend 1 day in Washington next January. What do you guys suggest we should do? Which monuments should we visit? Thanks!!!

Hi...My suggestions for a one day visit would be: The National Archives...very unique....and gives a great sense of our historyThe National Museum of American History...Amazing collection of so many things American, from all erasThe Viet Nam Memorial Wall... very moving and somber...Lincoln Memorial..If weather permits...sit on the top steps after viewing Abe.and gaze upon the MallThe White House... Definitely a must see if in DCI tried to lay these out in order from east to west, so they follow in order to eliminate backtracking. . As you ll be on the Mall, the Capitol is also right there. While walking towards Lincoln, you will also pass Washington Monument, World War II Memorial and the Korean War Memorial. There are also numerous other Smithsonian museums along the Mall that you can view. The 5 listed above though, would be my selections for must sees during a short visit.

This is what you do. Be sure to try to get your tickets early for the Washington Monument and the US Capitol Building. They are both FREE but you get them for a specific time of day and later get in line when it is your time to visit.Make sure you are wearing comfortable layered clothes (it s usually cold in January) and comfortable walking shoes (the National Mall area is very large). Try to visit the Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials. Also the Washington Monument and the US Capitol if you can.All of the Smithsonian Museums are also FREE. My favorite is the Air Space Museum, which could take two days to really see.Good luck on your trip!

Catch up on sleep.Other than that, Washington Monument, Memorials (Vietname, Lincoln, Jefferson), Smithsonians, White House, Congress, Dupont Circle shopping, Adams Morgan nightlife (for younger people), catch a sporting event at the Verizon Center in Chinatown.

National Geographic put out a list of the best. You really need to go there and see what floats your boat. This is my help from Washington, D.C. United States of America. Please pick an answer as the best answer, even if it is not mine.

I think the Washington, Lincoln and Jefferson memorials are the coolest. If it was me, with one day to spend in DC, I d go to the Smithsonian, probably the Air and Space Museum.

the george Washington and the Lincoln memorials definitely. and the white house is kinda cool.

just sneak in to obamas place like a couple i just read about did?? shows how bad their security is!! the secret service loves it!!

Viet Nam Memorial for sure

Whats there to do for New Years in San Fransisco this year? -

I ve been searching online to figure out what to do, but I can t seem to find anything that s less than $50! We re not really trying to spend a lot and we already booked a hotel for the night. Where can we watch fireworks for free or something and go to a nice dinner as well? Thanks!

Nowhere...a nice dinner...is going to be expensive..... the streets are going to be packed....people are going to be wasted...and all kinds of people are going to be making out with strangers on the streets....i can recall getting lost in the crowds of people and looking for hours before finding my friends..and the hotel downtown was a mad house....i would of recommended a hotel room with a kitchen...and you guys do your own cooking.:0.. GOod LUCK!

fire works are always free

What do you think is the best state? -

And why? Just curious.

I love Virginia! You re in the middle of everything there! You have the beach, the mountains, a short distance to DC, four full seasons, a wonderful wine country, tons of history, lots of diversity! I miss living there- so much to do! My husband and I could find some sort of festival to go to almost every weekend! Greek festival, Irish Festival, Bluegrass Festival, Chili Cook Off, car shows, sporting events, concerts, live comedy, etc. Charlottesville is one of our favorite areas in Virginia- when we moved to TN we chose to go to VA to get married lol!

California. You can ski in the morning and sunbathe in the afternoon, if you re willing to drive far enough. Lots of history, diversity of race and opinion, arguably the best state university system there is, awesome museums and attractions (Golden Gate Bridge, Hollywood Sign, Universal, Redwood Forests, DISNEYLAND), great teams, the center of the movie and television industry... it s everything anybody could ask for, in my opinion :).We got more bounce in California!

MICHIGAN !!!! we have the great lakes over 11,000 inland lakes hundreds of rivers and streams and over 200 waterfalls. lake Michigan has the best beaches and a beautiful shore line. there are so many beautiful places to see and to go camping and hiking. there is so much to do here all year long. Lake Superiors Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore is beautiful and the Porcupine Mountain ( also known as Lake of the clouds ) is breath taking. we have an amusement park here called Michigan s Adventures

Confusion

alabama we have so much fun here lots to do but the best place is auburn and it warm
