Has anyone heard of Trinity University in Washington University? -

Trinity is on Michigan Avenue about a block or so from the Immaculate Conception Shrine. It s also like two blocks from Brookland-Catholic University subway station. My best friend went there for a year. She s pretty bright, got somewhere around a 1200-1300 on her SAT back when it was on the 1600 points scale (ten years ago). It may have changed in ten years but back then she didn t enjoy it. I think it s a women-only college and she complained that she didn t learn anything the whole time she was there. They gave her a full 4-year scholarship and she was late applying elsewhere so she took it. After a year she said she wasn t learning anything so she left the school and went to Univ of Maryland.

Trinity Washington University, founded in 1897 by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, is a Roman Catholic university located in Washington, D.C. across from Catholic University of America and the Dominican House of Studies. Although it has been a university since September 10, 2004, Trinity s College of Arts Sciences undergraduate program maintains its original status as a liberal arts women s college. Men are accepted into the School of Education and the School of Professional Studies at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

I ve heard it of. The current name is Trinity Washington University and it s located in the Northeast portion of Washington, DC. It s not particularly a name school, and the neighborhood isn t the best. Still, it is accredited and they apparently have a large school of education as one of their specialties.I don t know, however, anyone who has taken classes there so can t comment on the quality of their programs.

I have a question about the Holland tunnel? -

how is the traffic like inbound Holland tunnel at 7:00 in the morning? Good, bad, moderate? Thanks

Ehhh it will likely be slow, but at 7 AM, you might JUST barely beat the worst of it. That said, be prepared sit for a very, very long time on that approach, especially if you don t have E-Z Pass.

Yeah, via the Holland Tunnel, you have to go through lower Manhattan to the Williamsburg, Manhattan, or Brooklyn Bridge. Any of those might be rough, but then again, there s no real guaranteed good way. Listen to traffic reports as you get close. Report Abuse

What do i do if i have to go to 2 places at once? -

I have to go to a christmas party and a cheer game at once, which is more important?

parties begin late, so may be the game for a while if it begins early, later head to the party.

Is it scary and intimidating to live in nyc? -

idk how some people do it...

Like anything, when one is new to a new surrounding it is natural to feel anxiety and a little scared. NY is actually a pretty safe place (according to data--Camden, NJ is actually the most dangerous place in the US). It is true NYers are (a little) mean and rude, but that s just how it is in the Big Apple. You will get used to it. Other than that, it s actually a pretty fun and cool place. You certainly learn a lot about people, how they live, and the plethora of cultures NY has.

they probably think the same thing of people living in the middle of nowhere. What no cell or unreliable cell service?? An ambulance takes over 20 mins to get here?? Risks living in rural area to huh? bet u didn t think of that

i m so used to it....
