I need trip ideas for under $1000 dollars! We live in Oregon and we want to get away for 5 days!? -

My husband and I have 5 days to kill and we want to go on an adventure! Any good vacation ideas for $1000? I am also 4 months pregnant, we want to go to Disneyland. Is that not a good idea being that I m pregnant and won t be able to go on much of the rides? Is there more than just rides to go on for people that can t go on rides???

Do not go to Disneyland when you are pregnant. You ll spend most of your day standing in line.Try South Lake Tahoe. It s Vegas with clean air and no sleeze.http://www.bluelaketahoe.com/The Sunday brunch at Harrah s Forest Buffet is one of the best I ve every been to. It s on the top floor and has a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and lake.http://www.harrahslaketahoe.com/casinos/The Vikingsholm Home Castle is an interesting tour.http://www.vikingsholm.com/tours.htmlEhrman Mansionhttp://www.tahoecountry.com/oldtimetahoeHeavenly has a gondola ride.http://www.skiheavenly.com/lake-tahoe/laTake a riverboat cruise and dinner on the lakehttp://www.zephyrcove.com/cruises/index.Sutter s Mill is day trip down U.S. 50. It s also a nice drive along the American River. It passes through Strawberry CA. which has a lodge that was a stagecoach stop.http://www.coloma.com/http://www.strawberrylodge.com/Virginia City is an interesting day trip. Made famous by the TV show Bonanza, it was the center of the Comstock Lode, the biggest silver strike in history. They have an old steam locomotive mining railroad you can ride and you can tour the actual mines. The city looks like it did in the late 1800 s, complete with wooden sidewalks, saloons, gambling halls, and boot hill.http://www.virginiacity-nv.org/info.aspx

D.R.I. West hollywood December 20th? -

WI looked it up and there doesnt seem to be any price?? I don t get it?Ahh I ve got to see them! does anyone know how I could find out how much they cost??does anyone know?Dirty rotten imbeciles is the name of the band!

I m amazed how people can find this forum, but can t use basic Internet tools like Google maps, craigslist, or (in this case) ticketmaster. They are playing at the House of Blues, which is a great venue, on Dec 20. Cost is $17.50 per ticket (plus fees), or $13.50 per ticket if you buy in groups of 4. But there s a 6-ticket limit, which is rather silly if you ask me. They should have made it 8. Anyway, did you see that they are playing at Chain Reaction on the 91th? Only $10. Not as classy a venue, but $10 is CHEEEEEEP for a show nowadays. I ve always liked Chain Reaction, they re a good outfit down in Anaheim. You can check them out at www.allages.com.

Is it better to be the new kids in a city or small town? -

Im moving soon and my mom told i can pick big city or small town and idk which one to choose.what are pros and cons of each one?

It depends on what you want... small towns people kind of know each other more and are more set into their own cliques and may be harder to become friends with... but on the other hand people may be nicer and more accommodating... in a city you can blend in more there are more people to connect with and make friends with but also the con is you just blend in as another kid and nobody notices you... in big cities there are more activities to get involved in and more chances to meet more people with similar interests as you...
