Things to do in Sacramento, CAlifornia during Winter? -

Please help!!.. Like any cute places to go out... or see. Either in SAc or somewhere around sacramento. With friends.THANKS FOR ALL HELP :)

There s the ice skating rink down by the Hard Rock Cafe (K Street) which is also a nice place to eat dinner and then go ice skating. However I ve never been there because every time we go the line wait is over an hour.I enjoy Second Saturday downtown, walk around look at all the art exhibits, grab some coffee, just bundle up real warm. There s always Arden Fair Mall too, it s kind of fun to go when it s really crowded and watch all the crazy people.

Down by the K Street mall, there s an ice skating rink, you can go there, or wander through old sac. This weekend in the Fair Oaks Village, we are having Christmas in the village, with a parade, a Christmas Tree lighting, and we have a marathon going through on Sunday morning. It s a lot of fun.

first, the ice skate rink is a good answer but it s no longer on K street mall its moved to 20th and J St. Visiting old Sacramento is good. If you like snow, the mountains are about a hour and 1/2 away.

You can go to K Street Mall, Sacremento Zoo, Downtown Ice Rink, Old Sacremento, and Discovery Park. They are all good attractions for everyone.

You need to avoid the main holiday times - Christmas, Summer etc.I would think February/March or October.

Ive never noticed it making a difference. The amt of time you book in advance makes a difference. You can play around with the scheduling tools on any airlines. Just dont go as far as the credit card payment page or put in your name.On the airlines website, be sure to click Sort by lowest fare first They dont readily let you know you can sort like this.( On American Airlines, you have to click sort by Price and Schedule. THEN, sort by lowest price first.) It can sometimes make a price diff of $300. ( also know the price is just one way ..then you go to your return flight purchase)

What is the cost of regular admission to LACMA? -

They have it under Hours Directions, not Buy Tickets, which is Exhibition, Group, etc. Go figure. Is construction work picking up in Las Vegas? Or is everything still dead? -

I know there have been some big job sites that have shut down, and I m just wondering if things are starting back up.

Worse than ever. City Center had a lot of construction workers but now that it is finished so are the workers. Buildings aren t popping up like they use to. Dead as a door nail.

The answer is NO. With the finish of City Center, construction dropped to near zero.
